Ssl For Ocs Inventory Software

August 21st, 2009 Comments off

We would like to modify the existing open source OCS Inventory (http://www.ocsinventory-ng.org/ ) (v1.01) Linux and Windows Client and Server Agents to have the ability to update the OCS server over port 443 via SSL. The key is to be able to send data via SSL (client / server).

We need to send the data packets encrypted since we will not have control over the client environment.

We intend to use a third party Certificate Authority. We prefer to run our server using Red Hat Enterprise License v 5.3.

We would like the Win32 client to include a standard installation package for easy deployment.

Windows 32 bit client
Linux Agent

Client Side Language: Visual C++
Server Side Language: C++

Please provide us with as much information on your experience with a project such as this including relevant examples of your work. Also, please provide how long it would take you to complete and test if you aer selected.

Payment Terms:
We pay 100% into escrow at beginning of project.
75% paid to programmer upon presentation of a fully working program.
25% paid to programmer upon transfer of code to buyer

Ssl For Domain

Hi guys,

I need someone experienced to help me with the following, please.
1. I have a web site www.craftics.net
2. Purchased SSL certificate from Godaddy.com
3. I configured the certificate at Godaddy certificate management

The web site Control Panel is Helm. It has SSL Certificate tool. I did follow up all the steps.
After all these, for some reason if I open https://www.craftics.net it is opening completely different web site: www.materialculture.com
????

I need someone to figure out and install the certificate properly for me. I need to have SSL for entire web site, not for a folder.

All the access will be given to the winner.

Thank you!

Bear
