On my server they needed to exchange the RAID hard drives because they were broken. I was able to create a backup and upload it back after the hard drives were exchanged (all through SSH), but the site is not available. I contacted the customer support so the only thing left to do is:

I have my own dedicated server and OpenVPN.net’s software installed on it. I need someone to bind my IPs together on the server and make sure they stayed binded. Now I already binded the IPs together via SSH using a code like this below:

But once the server is restarted or about 2 times a day something seems to happen and I am unable to connect to my PC with the dedicated IP that OpenVPN has assigned it. I then have to log back in via SSH and do that code all over again. Maybe someone can write a script and put it on the server so the IPs stay binded?

Also, every time I restart the dedicated server and then I try to start the OpenVPN server from the admin panel, I get this error:

[code] TUN/TAP dev /dev/as0t0: No such file or directory (errno=2)'] [/code]

I then have to log into SSH and typ in the command: “modprobe tun” and then the server will then start. Please fix this as well so that error will no longer appear after server reboot.

Please be able to do this now. I would like to test this for 24-48 hours after you are done before payment is complete to ensure it is done properly.

Looking to be able SSH tunnel through my VPS which has two IP’s setup.

I have no problems connecting and tunneling from either IP. But the outgoing IP is always the default server IP. I would like to be able to tunnel to IP1 and have outgoing as IP1 and tunnel to IP2 and have outgoing as IP2 so when I check my IP at say http://www.ip-adress.com/ I get either IP1 or IP2 depending on what I tunnelled through.

I can’t seem to find a solid solution to it myself (messing around with routing tables and nothing seems to work).

Looking for you to set it up for me and if possible show me how to do it for myself in the future.

I need to zip and move files that are on a /backup drive via ssh.

For example, the folders are located here:

There is a open source bash script that implements map/reduce in bash using common unix commands like sort, awk, etc. You can get full details here:

However, this script is implemented using network level commands like ssh and netcat. And does a lot of network I/O (besides requiring ssh configuration). And it does not work on redhat-based systems (redhat/fedora/centos)

I need a simple rewrite that is designed to run on only the local machine (this is useful for multi-CPU/ multi-core machine). For example, my desktop has 8 cores on it. If I run a “sort” on it, it should be considerably faster than the vanilla unix “sort”.

Other requirements:
- since it runs locally, there should be NO required configurations (e.g. in bashreduce you have to setup ssh keychains and all sort of configuration).
- the script should work out of the box in atleast redhat and ubuntu
- installation should be dead simple — e.g. Copy Script to /bin
- Basic map/reduce benchmarks like “sort” should run super fast using your script.
