I have finished creating the database and tables and have also created a dsn for sql server and have included it in all my asp files. But I am getting “server 500″ error.

I have updated the connections file (bgconnect.asp) with the new user name & password.

The webhost was changed 4 weeks ago, and the database had to be changed from MSSQL 2000 to 2005. It was changed successfully. It may/may not be a reason why these errors are appearing.

i have setup mssql support on my linux machine. i am having trouble connecting to a remote sql server2000. i think the prob is a slow sql server and a timeout issue. unforunately i do not have another sql server that i can connect to. so i need mssql db that i can connect to remotely from my server using my php script just so i can test to see whether i can connect. so i need either an existing mssql db that i can connect to or i need one setup that i can connect to.

i need to connect from a linux server to a remote sql 2000 server. i have tried some options, but no luck. i get “Warning: mssql_connect() [function.mssql-connect]: Unable to connect to server:”. i need to connect to the mssql database so i can grab some fields for output. the linux box where the site is loaded already has mssql support. i need someone who has experience with this and knows how to troubleshoot this.

I have SQL Server 2005 Express with advanced services installed on Windows 2003 server. When I installed the SQL Express I installed all options available. I have forum installed that uses full text search but full text is not functioning. I do not know if something is not enabled properly or if something in SQL Server Express is not configured properly,

The task for this job is to get full text to work on server so the forum works properly will full text.

Knowledge of SQL Server with advanced services is obviously necessary.

We have a MS SQL Server database on one Server with around 350 tabels called “hotdata” here we work with the SQL server 2000

now you have to write a copy job that everyvery day it will copied the tabels of “hotdata” to an other server with SQL Server 2005

from that server 26 tabels have to copy in a differant database called “eshop”

form a other database you have to copy aournd 5 tables to the database “eshop”

finally the database “eshop” has to be copied to the host of our proviader ..everday you got me?

It should be done in a way that only the changes are copied everday ( new addreses/drtikels changes or deleted ones.

I am having problems installing sql 2005 developer edition on a dell windows vista 32 bit machine.,

I downloaded service pack 3 and still did not get it to work.

I am moving my website from windows 2003 VPS to budget dedicated Windows 2003 Standard server.

Original site used SQL Express with Windows authentication. On new server I installed SQL Express with Advanced Services and set for mixed mode. I detached database in VPS and attached in Dedicated Server SQL Express.

I receive errors that settings do not allow for remote connection. Connections are set to allow remote connection.

I ask for someone to complete setup of SQL Express on dedicated server and make sure that setup is secure. Also correct error with connection by correcting user connection for database/script connecting to database.
