Database Password Sharing

July 30th, 2009 Comments off

I have a client who has a Joomla website that stores the IDs and passwords of its customers. The customers use the Joomla site to log in and see information that is reserved for customers.

The client uses a billing and management software that uses a MS SQL database. This database is on a different server from the Joomla MySQL server.

I need a way for the MS SQL database to update the customer passwords when they are changed in Joomla/MySQL.

Please ask if you have questions.

Photo Upload/search (complete)

July 13th, 2009 Comments off

Recently this code was written for me by a programmer on this site. Unfortunately the code is not working correctly. I have attached a zip file containing the code for the uploader.php in the main directory and the viewer.php in the 2009 directory. I can give you access to the CPanel. Database and tables are created. The uploader does work but I am not convinced that the data is getting to the sql database. When i run the viewer the photos are there but the search feature is not finding any of the photos.

Here is the list of items I need completed on this project:

1 – Make sure that the uploader.php code is correctly working including storing the data in the sql database.

2 – Make sure that the viewer.php code is correctly working. The viewer does work but it automatically showing all photos stored in the directory called 2009. At the top of the viewer is has to options, [HOME] and [SEARCH]. I would like the option [HOME] changed to [ALL].

Viewer should not show any directories until user selects [ALL] which shows all subdirectories located in the 2009 directory which is the way we currently view all photos. If the user selects [SEARCH] then the criteria diplayed in the search form would be viewed only based on the data stored in the sql database.

3 – The search form is not correct. Should be set up that user could select just the date and all photos in sql database with that date would be viewed. Right now the LOCATION field is always populated with one of our office locations. Need to have it blank.

I have tested the search feature and it unable to locate any photos matching my search criteria. I uploaded a few photos and went back and searched for them with no luck.

To be my programmer choice you must communicate very well and must allow me to test the code to ensure it is working before I release any escrow money to you. I can give you access to the Cpanel to work with the sql database.

This project is 98% complete already with the code and a good programmer should be able to complete this quickly. I need a programmer to tweak it. I do have other projects coming up soon using this database.

Link Mssql Db To Drupal 6.x

July 8th, 2009 Comments off

Please bid only if you have experience with Drupal 6.x, PHP and MS SQL.

My external (non-Drupal) MS SQL database has payment ledgers associated with customer accounts. I want the Drupal user to be able to access their own ledger in this database through their Drupal account.

The first time th user logs in, they need to establish a link between their Drupal account and their ledger in the MS SQL database by comparing their registered Drupal email with those in the database [EmailAddress]. Once their account in the database has been located, a permanent association should be made with their Drupal account and their user ID in the database [Tenant_ID] and corresponding lease ID [Lease_ID]. The Drupal user should then be able to view the entire payment ledger in the database.

My apologies that this description is not more technical.

Please, ask all the questions you’d like in order to make an educated bid. A sample of the MS SQL database is attached.

I would like this project to start as soon as possible.

Required:

Drupal 6.x
MS SQL
PHP
Views 2 module suggested, but alternatives will happily be considered

Need Databases To Share Info

July 7th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I am in URGENT need of getting this project done ASAP. I’ve gone through two programmers already and neither one could help. This project is possible, they just bit off more than they could chew.

SUMMARY:

I need two databases to talk to one another and to share information. One is a MS SQL database and the other is a MySQL database. The MS SQL database is the “parent” and the MySQL is the “child”. When the MS SQL database is updated, the MySQL database needs to recognize that information and update/overwrite its information. Updates to the MS SQL will never happen from the MySQL as only the MS SQL will be changed by user.

MORE DETAILS

I have a client who uses software from ISPBilling.com called Platypus. The company assigns all clients their login ID but clients can choose and change their passwords.

Clients log into their account using the Platypus web-based software. They can also change their password from here.

Here is a step-by-step illustration of what needs to happen from the very beginning. I only need you to cover some of these steps:

(1). New client signs up and is assigned an ID and password.
(2). Customer service enters the new client ID and password into the Platypus software.
(3). The company’s Joomla-based website talks to the Platypus database, recognizes the new ID and password, and creates a new REGISTERED user on the website. This needs to be done automatically.
(4). If the client ever changes his password the Joomla-based website needs to recognize this and update the password on the website.

I only need help with steps #3 & #4.

I am looking for a script that runs automatically that will accomplish this.

Closing thoughts: IMPORTANT

(1). I need this project done ASAP. The sooner, the better.
(2). Please have prior experience. I don’t have time to let you figure this out. I am sorry but my other programmers have taken too long.
(3). I have had a lot of trouble with programmers not reading the project and just submitting a bid. In order to have your bid considered you must use the PMB (again — it MUST be the PMB) to say “Hunter, I understand your project”. This let’s me know you’ve read the requirements.
(4). I usually select the bidder that I feel understands the project the best. This means you should ask questions and/or describe your plan to accomplish this project.
(5). Because I’ve spent so much already paying people who didn’t know how to do this project my budget is a concern. Low bids will be strongly considered for this project. I will not promise future work but you are likely to get some if you do well. If you look at my feedback you’ll see I like to reuse programmers.
(6). I’ve included the database map to help give you an overview of what will be needed.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Need A Sql Database Re-created

June 29th, 2009 Comments off

Hello-

I currently have all of the PHP for a site that I need to copy. The only thing I couldn’t get were the SQL databases… I need someone who can take a look at the live site (I have access to the site I need to clone) and then create a database that will mimic the site.

For example, I will show you a certain site that is functioning, and then I will give you all of the coding for the skin of that site. I will need you to create the database that makes it work.

This has the potential to be a long term job if you prove to be capable and communicative, as maintenance will be required as well. You MUST be rated, and you MUST have skype. You also must be willing to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement.

I look forward to working with you!

Create A Sql Database Program

June 25th, 2009 Comments off

We are looking to duplicate an application we already use, however we do not have the source code. The program would have to be reverse engineered. The program is a SQL based application with an interface that allows users to input new customer’s data and make changes to existing customer data. It has the ability to import/export reports in Excel format. If we can have someone re-create the program we’d like to see if we can integrate it with our Sage SalesLogix CRM software. If I made this sound easy, please realize that the program has a lot of menus and we would like to make it more efficient. We are looking for someone who is VERY familiar with SalesLogix and also who has experience creating similar programs. We will need to explain and use WebEx to show you how we work with the current program because it will be tough to type out everything is does. We would like to spend between $10,000-20,000 in a contract deal instead of by the hour.

I am attaching a list of the file headings from the current program.

Sql Database Conversion Script

June 19th, 2009 Comments off

I have a database conversion script I had made for me a while back to convert an ‘ArticleDashBoard’ database to an ‘ArticleMS’ database.

ArticleMS has recently upgraded their article script and the database tables have changed and been added to, so my script no longer works.

I need someone to take the simple conversion script and update it to use with the new AMS database.

I have an AD database, an AMS database, and the conversion script to use as a base.

I am looking for a quick turnaround as this should be a fairly simple task for the right person.

Ms-sql Database Move

May 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Rebuild MS-SQL database from backup file. This is for a full website move to a new server. All site files have already been uploaded to new server with the exception of the MS-SQL database. Programmer must not just import database, but configure it to function on the new server as it does on the old server. No changes required at all, just need a working version of the current website on the new server. Old site is currently up and running and both old and new servers are running Win 2003 with Plesk. Programmer must also be able to communicate via instant messenger, not just email.

Backup Ms Sql Database

I need a MS SQL database backed up from one server and put on another. I have full admin access to both servers. I’ve done this many times with MySQL, but do not know how to do this with SQL. Its a small database with about 250 profiles.

Sql Database For Appointments

March 16th, 2009 No comments

5 offices connected to server by VPN need a simple MS SQL database to hold appointment data. The form is about 3 screen pages long and has 100-150 fields. Indexing will be needed for searching on approximately 10 fields.

On screen, the form needs to appear similar to the paper form they have been using. They will need to be able to print these as well and the output should look like the paper form.

I’d like to use a free flavor of MS SQL (SQL Express??)

I’d like to start immediately and be finished within one month.
