Can anyone help with a flash slide show that will display in horizontal form, multi amount of images that fade in/out.

Specs:

Code must read from XML a list of X amount of images that are in a directory on a web server. X can be specified in XML file.

rotator is in horizontal row of Y images, Y also specified in XML.

all images are same size like 100 x 100 or 300 x 300. Assume images are already scaled to this size, no resizing needed. Scale of X , Y also specified in xml.

Photos must fade in and out.
Delay (S) amount will be same for all, S – specified in xml.
Image place holders will fire at random times with max repeat for any one place holder of 2 displayes.

I’m looking for a crawler that will search any specified phpBB forum for a specified keyword and extract data from within all results (/posts).

The crawler/scraper or bot whatever you would like to call it, should be able to login to a phpBB forum (if a login is required) and search for a keyword specified.
The only thing I want it to extract is urls from within the post. For example url containing imagevenue.com, rapidshare.com, cnn.com etc.
I should be able to configure the url it should extract from within the posts. The best way would be for me to enter the domain name of the link it should extract from within the post.

So the sum it up:

- Crawler will be able to login with an username/password specified by me into a phpBB forum
- Crawler will search for a keyword specified e.g. “President Bush” AND WILL ONLY SEARCH WITHIN THE TOPIC TITLE
- Crawler will go through all posts from the keyword results and extract http:// links within the post (also if there are 3 page results go through all pages)
- The http:// links which it should extract will be configured by me by entering the domain names it should look for within the post. E.g. look for any links with the domain imagevenue.com
- Crawler will save the results to a EXCEL file. The name of the file will be KEYWORD_DATE.xls. The left column in the excel file will show the urls it extracted and the right column will show the topic name. Let me know if this is possible to do, if not if you have any other ideas.

My preferred programming language would be PHP (and e.g. CURL) if this is possible, but i am open for any other programming languages.
I will probably want to add extra features in the near future and am looking for a programmer for a long term relationship.

to perform what amounts to a “mail merge” operation. The toolkit is written in C++, and wraps the Java “iText” library using GCJ to manipulate PDF files.

Job tasks:

– Add a new command “merge_form” to the command line options of the toolkit. Syntax: ” merge_form <Merge data filename | – >”

– Read and parse the contents of the specified Merge data file (or from stdin if “-” is specified. The merge data will in XML format, a slightly modified version of the XFDF format that will allow multiple field sets and exclude annotations.

– For each fieldset in the Merge data, add a PDF page or pages in the output based on the PDF template input merged with the current field values. This is a simple form-fill, analogous to that used by the existing “fill_form” command. For each fieldset, the PDF input template to use will default to the first PDF input file specified on the command line, or can be overridden by using a “handle” as specified on the command line, or can be overridden by specifying a path to the input PDF file to use for the fieldset.

– Optionally “flatten” the output PDF based on the command line settings.

Need experienced osCommerce developer to code, test and implement a PHP script within osCommerce 2.2. The script will generate an admin custom report on specified sales orders. The report will be a summary of each sale within a specified date range.

The report must be laid out and contain the same fields specified in the attached PDF document and be styled (using CSS) to clearly display each field. No images, just text and separators (e.g. lines/borders/etc).

What I need is a script that does the following:

1) You have a web page with a form. It will have a few fields, and when the user hits submit (which is an image submit button), validation will occur. What differs from the tutorial is that I want the validation to occur with alert windows, not the ajax message. I will tell you what fields should be validated.

2) Next, after validation clears, there should be a placeholder image that says “processing your request” as shown in this tutorial:

This should take the place of the form div completely – basically the form content div will be replaced with this image. Also, the submit button (which is an image) will be replaced with an image that says “loading…” as well. You’ll see in the electrictoolbox.com tutorial that the code uses setTimeout() with Javascript to (I believe) specify how long the “loading image” remains on the page. You should utilize this and tell me what file and what number I can modify to adjust the time that the “loading image” remains on the page so I can make it longer and shorter.

3) After the specified time that the loading image is displayed, I then want the following to happen:

- Another form to appear via jQuery AJAX (so somehow displayed through the php file called, or something via jQuery) in the same position that the previous form was in – replacing the previous one, with new form fields. Perhaps some fields (I will tell you what the new fields are) should be auto-filled with the values carried over from the previous form submission. The other values will be “hidden” fields in the new form and will be carried over as well.

Also, the image submit button will again be replaced with a similar image that just says something new on it (this is easy I believe, just call a different image via ajax thru jquery to replace the image div I believe, right?).

What happens with this new form, after some validation (which I already have javascript validation scripts for this second form you can use) is that it should be able to be submitted “regularly” to a new PHP file with the post variables being available to utilized on this next new page you will go to.

4) On this next PHP page, you will utilize the Ultracart Javascript Checkout API. Basically, this is what is used on https://www.mylumalife.com/ – so check out the source code. You will be able to re-use the checkoutapi.js and I also already have a PHP relay script written for the API. Additionally, there is a manual that shows an example and all of the API calls you can use. Essentially, what will be happening on this next page is that there will be a credit card field and a few other fields. You need to be able to communicate via the API with the Ultracart checkout and display any errors (play with mylumalife.com to see what I mean), and if there are more errors, be able to display the appropriate fields (for example – when you first go to the page, only the credit card fields will appear, and the name, address, etc. from the previous page will be hidden fields in the form as post variable carried over from the previous page – however, if there is an error, then perhaps those fields will need to be displayed above the credit card field). Another thing that may be needed is a div that is displayed if a checkbox is checked that says “shipping address is different from my billing address” to make those fields appear (different name & address fields) – fairly simple.

Here is what they say in the manual regarding error messages from the API:

When you a checkout handoff the customer’s browser is redirected into the UltraCart checkout for completion. If there are any errors that need to be redisplayed to the customer then UltraCart will redirect their browser to the URL that you specified in the handoff call. The error messages will appear in the query string as the parameter specified in the handoff call. Please note that there can be more than one error that needs to be displayed to the customer. For your convience we have provided the method getParameterValues which fetches the error messages. Make sure that your javascript code not only displays the errors, but also should reload all the fields on the page so that customer only needs to fix the error fields and not respecify everything.

I believe in the mylumalife.com example they use the file /js/all.js to check the billing address versus the shipping address, etc. – so checkout that file. You should be able to tell me what all they are doing in this file. They use jQuery and a cart.js aspect within all.js to do work with the API.

There is also a log of calls and error log that can be seen / attained to work with this portion of the assignment.

Essentially we want the same behavior as mylumalife.com in terms of the final segment and the checkout process – which basically deals primarily with the submitted values to the API.

Please in your reply state your experience with jQuery and that you have reviewed these sites and also offer any questions you might have on the project. Apply for the project only if you are serious and can do the job right. There may very well be more work for you in the future.

I am looking for a flash-based MP3 player that will read an XML file containing a few hundreds of songs, shuffle the songlist and play the songs one-by-one. The experience that the user will get is just like listening to a radio-station.

The player should be capable of integrating into a Joomla-based website.

Here are the requirements in detail:

1. XML-based playlist, with optional shuffle. This means that I will hear the songs in a different order every single time I launch the player. Shuffle should be optional and specified in the XML file.

2. Define an “intro MP3″: a pre-set MP3 file that will always play before the playlist begins playing the first track (e.g. when launching the player, the user will hear something like “thank you for choosing MT radio!”, and only then the playlist starts to play). The “intro MP3″ file is specified in the XML.

3. Ability to add “jingles”: every X songs the player will play a predefined list of MP3 files (e.g. every 4 songs the listener will hear something like “you’re listening to MT radio!”, afterwhich the playlist resumes). The “jingle” files (there can be several of these) and the intervals in which they play within the songs defined in the playlist, are specified in the XML file.

4. Crossfade between songs, so that songs will seamlessly overlap and there will be no “silence” between the tracks (excluding the jingles mentioned before, that should not crossfade amongst themselves or to the songs that comes before and after the jingles play). The option whether to enable or disable the crossfade is specified in the XML.

5. Display artist/song name information based on the ID3 tags contained within each MP3 file that is being played. The text should be UTF-8 to support both English (left-to-right) and Hebrew (right-to-left).

6. The “next/back tracks” buttons can be enabled/disabled according to the XML. If the buttons are disabled, the user will not have the ability to skip over to the next track, repeat the current track or jump back to the previous track – just like listening to a live radio station.

7. Tracks should be loaded into the player as the playlist progresses. I do not want the whole list to be cached as it can be very long…

8. The player should not display the actual playlist content, so that the user will not be aware of what song is coming next after the currently playing song finishes.

*File caching*
torrent downloads will be cached with an expiry of a definable number of days (i.e.: 30 days) – when a user downloads a torrented file to OUR servers it will be deleted in 30 days, unless another user requests the exact same .torrent download (MD5 checksum, maybe?), then the 30 day expiration starts over.

If the torrent has already been downloaded by another user, and the files are still active in our cache of recently downloaded files, then the user should be able to directly download the files without waiting. If the files are not currently available, the .torrent is moved into a queue of torrents to be downloaded by our torrenting cluster (if the same .torrent is not already in the queue from another user). Our torrenting cluster will then download the files, and upon completion, will import them into our mogilefs file system, while also updating the database accordingly so that it knows what files are associated with the downloaded torrent, and so it knows where to get those files and that they are available.

MogileFS functions best with chunks of data under 64GB, so we must segment files for scalability.

In order to finish this functionality, our script needs to let the user decide which files they want to include in their .zip archive they are downloading, and then pass the list of files off to the nginx zip manager when the user tries to download the .zip archive.

Overview:

I need to add certain functionality to a base Drupal installation. This can be done with module installation, configuration and customization. I do NOT need you to build an entire website – I need to configure the needed functionality in Drupal upon which a website can later be built.

I do NOT need any template/theme customization, and no real content will be required other than test content to verify functionality of modules.
Drupal 6.7 or later will already be installed for you with the default setup and the admin module installed:

as well as the TinyMCE editor which I have tested and works well.
I will provide FTP access, cPanel access, and the Drupal admin login.

I need you to determine which modules to use, install them, configure them and prove that the specified functionality has been acheived, and then explain to me exactly what was done in a step-by-step manner so I can replicate it later. I will need to be able re-create the installation later on a different server (same specs).

User Types:
There needs to be two types of users added. Content Managers and Content Editors. It should be possible to have multiple users of both types.

Demo Preparation:
To create a realistic testing environment, several levels of content pages (fake content) should be created. There sould be several main website sections, each having multiple sub-sections and pages. The content should be 3 levels deep.

Desired Functionality:
I need for the Content Managers to be able to assign content editing and adding priviledges to Content Editors. They should be able to assign content by specific pages, sections of the website, or types of pages based on taxonomy. There should be multiple ‘editors’ possible for any particular page. The exact method for assigning content is open for discussion, but I would like to be clear on the process prior to awarding this project. The managers should also be able to create a ‘placeholder’ page which is unpublished and assign it to an editor for editing.

The editors need to be able to edit their assigned content and submit it for approval. The existing version of the content should always remain published until a manager can review the new content and approve, edit, or reject with comments. If assigned a certain section or type of content, editors should be able to add new pages which are not published until approved by a manager. If a page is rejected, the editor should be notified and they should be able to log in and see the page with the manager’s comments. They should be able to continue editing and resumbit for approval again.

To keep everything organized, each manager and editor should have a place they can view their ‘to-do’ list. From what I understand, this can be accomplished with views, but I could be wrong. Any time an item is added to the user’s to-do list, they should also be notified by email if specified in their profile. It should be very easy for the editors and managers to understand what they can edit, any items waiting for them to edit or approve, and any rejected submissions.

The managers should be able to pull up a list of all content waiting to be approved, and view, approve or reject the changes with comments.
They should also be able to mark any page as needing editing and add comments. Once a page is marked as needing changes, all editors with permission to edit that page should be notified by email and in their ‘to do’ list.
The editors should be able to pull up a list of content they are responsible for editing, and see any edits which have been rejected by an admin.

It is important that once a revision is approved, any futher changes by the editor still require admin approval. The modules I found didn’t work this way. It is also important that new content pages can be created by the designated users of that section but not published until manager approval. This functionality is critical.

Please only bid on this project if you have read the requirements thoroughly and have a clear plan to implement each requirement. For this project, I want to work with someone with a solid understanding of Drupal and good feedback. Please provide links to drupal sites you have created.

Timeframe: This needs to be completed, submitted and replication instructions sent within 2 weeks of being awarded the project. If you will require more time, please specify how long in your bid.

This will be considered a work for hire and all rights to the code created will be retained by the end client.

I need a spider / screen scraper written in PHP which will save results in a MySQL database.

The goal is to find HTML only websites which have been consistently updated in the last 2 years according to archive.org.

First, it needs to display an HTML form which will accept the starting variables such as the search query, prohibited keywords, years to check, update threshold, and any other paramenters.

Once the search query is submitted, it will pull up search engine results (specify which seach engine and if you will use an API in your bid) and retreive the results. It will then visit each link and scan the site to see if the extension of all pages of the site are .htm or .html. It will also test each page against a list of prohibited words and phrases and if it finds any it will skip that site.

If the site is all .htm or .html pages and does not have any of the prohibited keywords, it will then check each page of the site on archive.org to see the change history. On archive.org, an update is noted with a *. The script should check how many updates have been made to each page in the years specified at the beginning.

If the total count of all updates for the site in the years specified is above the specified threshold, it should do a whois lookup and add the following to the database:

Looking for a reliable, independent (preferably an individual) with extensive PHP and networking site design experience. Specifically, bidder should be extensively familiar with SocialEngine networking platform. Our project is based on an out-of-box SocialEngine package to be customized as specified below:

1. Document management: Enable or create features that allow users to share, store, edit, and publish live documents through the site. Acceptable forms of delivery for these features could be similar but not identical to Google Docs, Wikipedia or API-based integration for technologies like Scribd.com’s iPaper.
2. Project management/collaboration features: Create, assign, monitor, and update shared projects comprised of tasks that could be delegated to specific users. Features should include calendars and master folders for each project. User profile must be updated to reflect time availability depending on the projects the user is involved with. These features could be similar but not limited to those offered by Jive Software’s SBS (formerly ClearSpace) and Joomla’s Project Fork extension. 3. Bidding and user review capabilities. Users must be able to submit bids to participate in projects and tasks.
