The flex project supplied in the zip file requires customization to the screen that displays sentences, the SentenceLessonBox component. We have an existing app that splits the part that displays the sentences in two, in the top half displaying text, images and sound files relating to the exercise. The current (delphi) app displays html files directly in that space, but that is not appropriate for flex. The new display component also has to do the following functions:
1. When a green play button is pressed, it should use the current sound play function to play that sound.
2. When the user clicks the blue “zoom” button a new window should pop up, as per the html file.

Need a script for sound files. I have the same sound files saved in 3 formats; ogg. wav and mp3. I need a single script to put all 3 files on my web pages so that they will play when the page is pulled up in IE, Firefox and Google Chrome.

I need an Android app created to act as a voice recorder, nothing too special. The only difference is that the user should have the option to set it to record automatically when there is sound. So the user can record like normal, or record when there is sound. When they choose to save the file, it will save automatically to a folder. There are plenty of apps out there now that you can record sounds bites with.

I want to be able to share a sound bite with friends easily. This should be a simple, streamline process so you can easily record a sound bite and then share to friends wall, your wall, send via SMS, twitter, etc.

I’m open to suggestions, but I’m thinkign…convert the soundbite to video and upload to youtube(or other site…better/easier if we can keep it as an audio file). Once uploaded, it should post to the FB wall like video or better if can keep it as sound bite.

This technology already exists and shouldn’t be hard to integrate w/ social features…I’m looking for someone who can do this to iPhone, Blackberry, and Google Android for an inexpensive dev cost.

I have a site sillytext.com that allows users to send a text message and picture from the site.

I want to add two functions that will allow users to send a sound file to go with the picture. The sound files would be in a dropdown list, they select it if wanted and it is sent with the picture that they choose. The sound needs to play at the same time the picture is displayed.

Also, after the sound/picture are displayed I need another picture file to play. The final picture will be a ad that I can update at will when I want to.

I have a flash video that start playing with sound. It has a mute button that allows you to turn the sound off/on. I would like to change it so that the video starts playing without sound. Hello, I am designing and developing a site in Flash. This site will be an online test that will be used to generate content. In short, users will go to a site where they will be confronted with a sound. They will have to associate that sound with a certain object (brand). Since I will have 10 different sounds on 10 different pages, I will also have 10 different objects (brands) to pick from. This way, as the user goes through the Flash site, they select a brand or object based upon the sound they hear. I want all information to be collected via php script and emailed to me. This way I can go back and say User 1 said that Sound 2 goes with object B, or so forth. Upon approval I can send you the site comps, but I am still working on the development of the site. I would plan to have the entire 10 page flow of the Flash site working, you would only be in charge and responsible for the coding of the buttons to generate this information that would be emailed to me.

We need a very simple iPhone app.
The app will have one previously stored sound file (wav file, for instance). That file will have a length of about 1, 2 or 3 seconds.

The app has to continuously listen what is received from the microphone and show in the screen a number indicating the “similarity” of what is hearing with the previously stored sound file, in a scale from 0% to 100%.
In case it is very close to what is prerecorded, the screen will show a high number (“86%” for instance). If it does not have similarity, it will show “0%”.

We are not searching for exactness but approximation in different grades.

The developer does not have to worry about the graphics and the interface design. We understand that this has to be developed by someone that understands sound waves and how to sample them.

The code has to be of good quality and not use APIs not approved by Apple.

I have a video streaming website (Custom made, NOT those commercial scripts you can buy or download) and lately, the users are complaining that videos have sounds issues. The first 10 minutes of the video is fine but then after the voice gradually does not match the video itself. Basically someone talks in the video and then 5 seconds later the voice plays. So there is a BIG gap between the video and sound. I need someone thats good with PHP/LINUX/SSH/ADOBE FMS server to troubleshoot this.

Some interesting things to know about this issue.

1. When the video and sound do not match anymore, I can skip the video a little bit and it will fix itself for like 5 mins and start to gradually not match again.

2. I downloaded a video that has the problem and played it with VLC and windows media player and it DOES NOT have this issue at all. Only when it streams from the website it has this problem.

Please know what your doing before bidding. I need this fixed ASAP.

I recently installed Windows 7 (32 bit) and I’m having trouble with the sound cards (onboard sound and sound blaster). What I want to do is to be able to record what I hear on my speakers. I could do it with Windows xp, but not with Windows 7. With Windows xp, the sound blaster I could do this. They had a feature built in called What U Hear. But that is no longer available in Windows 7. So what I would like some to do is come up with a solution for this problem. I was using it to broadcast video on my desktop and at the same time broadcast the audio with it. I’d like to use the Sound Blaster Audigy Card with Windows 7.
