- iDJHawaii.com is a website designed for renting out sound systems to customers,
the customer creates a shopping cart of items such as speakers, mics, disco lights etc..
that they want to rent for a party. The items are added to a cart and the cart can be saved for future access. The customer must create a login account inorder to save or submit the cart.

- the cart will have certain items that need special programming to calculate various scenerios.

- when the cart is complete the customer will hit submit and an email will be sent to the admin
informing of a new order along with the ordered items. Please create an auto responder so that the customer gets an email saying that the request was received and someone will respond to them within 48 hours.

- The order will be saved under the customers profile and the admin can also view/access the order in The admin control panel.

- The admin will reply email or call the customer to confirm the order. The admin will then go into the control panel to book the requested day. No money transaction will occur on the website. Customer will pay cash or check upon delivery of the sound system to their party.

- Each rental “package” system (the items located on the homepage/ see “01-homepage.jpg”) will

- the idea behind this item is because not all people have access to music, so they can pick what
songs they want to play at their party and I will download the songs on to an ipod and deliver it with their order on the day of the event.

- the playlist is an application that pulls music from an external source or public database,
I do not know where this public database is but two websites that currently act this way is

- within the playlist where the customer can search for songs, there is a tab for “DJ music”.
This is where I create custom playlists in admin panel and the customer can pick a custom

I want a social networking site that is a mix of facebook and mocospace. If it’ll be cost-efficient for me, then I can buy/lease an open-source social networking script. I already found one that has the best features and it’s already mobile-friendly.

So I’ll need someone who can add on custom ideas that I have for the website. When musicians upload music, I want users to be able to stream/download the songs to their phones when they’re using their cell phone. So I need a mobile music player. If an user doesn’t have a newer model phone to stream songs, I want them to be able to download the songs to their phone.

Also, I would also like my forum rooms to allow users to upload audio files from their computer or mobile device. So audio files compatibility should be (mp3 and qcp {audio recorded on their phones} ).

We are using the socialengine 4 addon “directory/pages” to create a database of record labels and music publishers. We want our customers to be able to pay to send their music to them.

We want the user interface to be extremely simple and to be able to replace the activity feed. Essentially when a member logs in they should be presented with their profile picture and quicklinks on the left and a section of main content in the middle.

Essentially the user experience would need to be as follows:

User signs up/Logs in
Homepage – Displays users current song uploads, if none uploaded provides a link to upload and tells user to upload songs. Also displays a simple button which when pressed performs a search of the directory pages and returns most relevant results based upon the users profile. (see detail below)
shopping cart-like functionality applied to the search results so that the user can choose to send his/her songs to more than one record label, and can also choose how many of their songs will be sent.
Once selected songs and select record labels have been chosen, payment gateway is opened to paypal/worldpay and user pays.
Upon successful payment an E-Mail detailing the complete URL’s of the users songs is sent to the E-Mail adress of the record label as provided on their directory page (The Email adress should be kept hidden from the public at all times.
Record label listens to users song and activity feed is instantly updated saying…. “<record label name> has listened to <usernam>’s song <songname>”

The main modifications required would be:-

Automatic Search Function – Search should read the data in the fields of the users profile and search the pages for relevant results. e.g. If a users profile features “genre” and “influency by” fields containing the information “Rock” and “Radiohead” then the search feature would instaly search the directory pages for pages containing matching terms and provides a list of recommended record labels accordingly. Remember, we are probably going to use “Socilengineaddons” Directory/Pages plugin for this and it would require modifcation directly.

Lastly search results would need to be split into two colums providing a “record Labels” column and a Music publishing company column.

Shopping Cart system – A shopping cart style system would need to be implemented directly into the directory pages and to the search results so that the user can select numerous record labels and numerous songs. We were thinking of a “stepped process” whereby the user is asked to select the songs he wishes to promote and then is asked to select the record labels based upon the auto search results. Each song and each record label would multiply the payment. i.e.

We need a music social network built where cover artists can sell downloadable Mp3 songs. We have licensing in place and can legally provide this service.

I want to start off saying that My site is www.twtmuzik.net and its up and running but I am having some problems with some mp3 songs not playing on the site. First we need a new flash player for the single upload songs. My site uses twitter oauth where they login then hit upload then it will let them upload a single song. What I am trying to do now is make it so they can upload a whole cd but with a new player. When you login the site and hit upload it will popup but I want the uploader to have a seperate page where the user can pick if they want to upload a single song or a whole cd. If they want to upload a whole cd they will be a drop menu saying how many songs 1-40 tracks they can upload and they can also upload a cd cover for the cd. Here is a example of the single upload and mixtape/cd uploader from a site I seen

I run an internet radio station and every year during the holidays, we are constantly looking and asking and trying to think up what songs fit in to what categories. What i’m looking for, is a script that lets all my dj’s easily view a list of songs from one category and easily add songs to a list. it needs to be password protected for adding. a single password that can only be changed by me should be fine. Here’s some more details

you get to the main list page and it has a list of categories like…

halloween
thanksgiving
x-mas
new years
valentines day
april fools day
4th of july

and so on. when you click a category, it takes you to a list of all the songs in that category, then there needs to be sub categories listed under those. so under halloween, you have several general halloween songs listed, then after the general ones, you have the sub category of songs about dead ppl, sub category of songs about witches, songs about monsters, songs about vampires, and so on.

songs will be displayed in the list with the following information…

Artist – Title – Album – URL – keywords

sorting by any of the headers would be nice, but not nessesary

So back on the main page, there needs to be a link to log on to add categories, sub categories and songs. When you add a category, it asks for category name, and any sub categories. you can click on add subcategory, it should asked what category to add a sub category too, then what sub category(ies) to add. When you click add song, it asks for category, sub category, artist, title, album, url(to where the song can be downloaded for free or bought if either are available), and comma separated key words(dead, fireworks, christmas tree, eggs, bunny, etc). The only required fields should be category, artist, title, and keywords

ok, back to the main page again, i would like a keyword search function that can search through all the keywords.

I am looking for a flash-based MP3 player that will read an XML file containing a few hundreds of songs, shuffle the songlist and play the songs one-by-one. The experience that the user will get is just like listening to a radio-station.

The player should be capable of integrating into any web browser or website.

Here are the requirements in detail:

1. XML-based playlist, with optional shuffle. This means that I will hear the songs in a different order every single time I launch the player. Shuffle should be optional and specified in the XML file.

2. Define an “intro MP3″: a pre-set MP3 file that will always play before the playlist begins playing the first track (e.g. when launching the player, the user will hear something like “thank you for choosing MT radio!”, and only then the playlist starts to play). The “intro MP3″ file is specified in the XML.

3. Ability to add “jingles”: every X songs the player will play a predefined list of MP3 files (e.g. every 4 songs the listener will hear something like “you’re listening to MT radio!”, afterwhich the playlist resumes). The “jingle” files (there can be several of these) and the intervals in which they play within the songs defined in the playlist, are specified in the XML file.

4. Crossfade between songs, so that songs will seamlessly overlap and there will be no “silence” between the tracks (excluding the jingles mentioned before, that should not crossfade amongst themselves or to the songs that comes before and after the jingles play). The option whether to enable or disable the crossfade is specified in the XML.

5. Display artist/song name information based on the ID3 tags contained within each MP3 file that is being played. The text should be UTF-8 to support both English (left-to-right) and Hebrew (right-to-left).

6. The “next/back tracks” buttons can be enabled/disabled according to the XML. If the buttons are disabled, the user will not have the ability to skip over to the next track, repeat the current track or jump back to the previous track – just like listening to a live radio station.

7. Tracks should be loaded into the player as the playlist progresses. I do not want the whole list to be cached as it can be very long…

8. The player should not display the actual playlist content, so that the user will not be aware of what song is coming next after the currently playing song finishes.

I am looking for a flash-based MP3 player that will read an XML file containing a few hundreds of songs, shuffle the songlist and play the songs one-by-one. The experience that the user will get is just like listening to a radio-station.

The player should be capable of integrating into a Joomla-based website.

Here are the requirements in detail:

1. XML-based playlist, with optional shuffle. This means that I will hear the songs in a different order every single time I launch the player. Shuffle should be optional and specified in the XML file.

2. Define an “intro MP3″: a pre-set MP3 file that will always play before the playlist begins playing the first track (e.g. when launching the player, the user will hear something like “thank you for choosing MT radio!”, and only then the playlist starts to play). The “intro MP3″ file is specified in the XML.

3. Ability to add “jingles”: every X songs the player will play a predefined list of MP3 files (e.g. every 4 songs the listener will hear something like “you’re listening to MT radio!”, afterwhich the playlist resumes). The “jingle” files (there can be several of these) and the intervals in which they play within the songs defined in the playlist, are specified in the XML file.

4. Crossfade between songs, so that songs will seamlessly overlap and there will be no “silence” between the tracks (excluding the jingles mentioned before, that should not crossfade amongst themselves or to the songs that comes before and after the jingles play). The option whether to enable or disable the crossfade is specified in the XML.

5. Display artist/song name information based on the ID3 tags contained within each MP3 file that is being played. The text should be UTF-8 to support both English (left-to-right) and Hebrew (right-to-left).

6. The “next/back tracks” buttons can be enabled/disabled according to the XML. If the buttons are disabled, the user will not have the ability to skip over to the next track, repeat the current track or jump back to the previous track – just like listening to a live radio station.

7. Tracks should be loaded into the player as the playlist progresses. I do not want the whole list to be cached as it can be very long…

8. The player should not display the actual playlist content, so that the user will not be aware of what song is coming next after the currently playing song finishes.

** Before selecting the successful coder, I will require evidence that you have previous experience with a similar project. In particular, I would like to see that you can provide the crossfade facility.
