This is a very easy job for a video editor who has a good library of royalty free background music (ideally from digital juice). Here’s the scoop… I created a video of myself riding a motorized skateboard, and I found the perfect song for it. Youtube even let me upload it:

The thing is, Youtube will let you upload it because they provide a link to buy the song. Facebook is not the same way, and it won’t accept my video because the song is copyright protected.

I’d like you to watch the video and provide me with a couple choices of songs that I could replace the original one with. You don’t need to do the actual rendering of the video. You can just give me the song and I’ll put it in iMovie and do it myself. Much faster that way, and a lot less transferring of large files.

If you’ve got a good collection of digital juice audios, then you’ve probably got something perfect for the occasion. I’m looking forward to hearing what you come up with.

The player will have a buy it now button that will open a new tab and take you to the artists page where you can purchase the song.
The player will have a “random” genre that will play music from all genres in a random order.

The player will include a link to a “pop out” music player. This player will be directly linked to the database and very small. Its functionality will include the ability to select a genre, a play, pause, next and previous button, and the websites like function. I am business partner with a musician named Adley Stump, who has a song called Whiskey Perfume. This song is currently in a contest to be included in the soundtrack for a movie called Renee The Movie. The contest is determined by how many times the song is voted for, which is done online. I want an Android application that can play mp3 files. I need the source code, so that I can compile it on my Android simulator and deploy it on the Google Android store.

It needs to have these features:

- It must play most common audio file formats, including: wav, mp3, flac, aiff

- It should have a fairly simple, basic user interface allowing the following actions: play, pause, stop

- It should have a “play head” showing where the song is in progress (i.e., a progress indicator), and users should be able to “set” the play head by simply tapping on it. This is how most touch-screen audio players work, like the iPhone audio player.

- It should show the song length in minutes and seconds, and indicate where in the song the play head is (i.e., show the current song time, like “3:45″ meaning that the song is 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the playing).

- It should be skinnable (I should be able to easily change the look of the buttons and overall interface). If you simply save all the graphics in external PNG or JPG files, that will probably be sufficient.

- It should be able to easily fetch supported audio files from a user’s Android device, and save the audio files in some sort of “playlist”

- Users should be able to organize their music into very simple “playlists” which are basically just named lists of files to play at once (one song after another). Users should be able to have multiple playlists, and easily manage them (add/edit/remove them)

The application should be coded in Android 2.x.

NOTE: You may start from an existing code if you have it (for example, an open-source MP3 player application that is already written in Android?). Thus, maybe you can do this project very quickly by simply giving me some code that already exists!

My radio station uses Streaming Audio Manager(SAM) from http://www.spacialaudio.com. Currently the only way to add songs into the system is through the computer that it is hosted on and SAM only runs on Windows. SAM is driven by a data base which is hosted on my web server, but the mp3′s are hosted on the windows machine it’s self. I would like a web page script that lets my DJ’s add new songs with out VPNing into my windows computer. I would like a web page they can log into and ftp the mp3 into the windows machine(which has an ftp server set up) and then add in the information into the database about the song that SAM requires(artist, title, cd name, cd image, track number, location of mp3, category). It’s also required to ftp the cd image to the windows computer. To see the database structure, you can download a trial copy of sam, i have not changed it from the default. I use mysql for database.

if this could made into a wordpress plugin that would be even better, but not required.

i need an existing flash mp3 player customised or built from scratch that can play the uploaded mp3′s from the database.

this mp3 player needs to be shown on the item.php page in the item description part.

so for each auction you have the standard description, information etc and the flash player that plays the riff/song. then the user can bid on the riff/song to their hearts content.

i figured this would have something to do with adding an auction id to each song that is uploaded or something like that but it is beyond my scope as a beginner programmer.

This is an urgent project to complete data entry onto the attached Excel spreadsheet no later than Friday, January 15, 2010 by 7pm Pacific Time. To do this project, it helps to have knowledge of western music.

Attached PDF files are all the data that must be entered onto the Excel spreadsheet (MS Excel 2003). Winner of project bid must have PDF reader, MS Excel 2003 and internet access.

There are approximately 55 PDF files each containing roughly 35 entries. (Less than 2000 entries in total.) Each entry is a filename that is a song by a particular artist. Please take every entry shown on the files and create a row in Excel. For each row in Excel, input the 1) File Name, 2) Musical Artist and 3) Song Title.

The first 3 items from Image1.pdf are already entered on the spreadsheet so you can see a sample of the work desired.

Some research is required because each filename on PDF is not in a standard format. Sometimes the Musical Artist appears before the Song Title in the filename. Sometimes it is the Song Title that appears before the Artist. Sometimes there is a coded number in the filename that is not part of the Artist’s name or Song Title. Using your knowledge or internet research, you must be able to parse the file into its file name, artist & title. Occasionally, only the song name will appear and you must attempt to research and then enter the name of the Musical Artist (it is okay to leave that information blank if unable to locate the name of the artist).

Please note there are no files included named Image33.pdf or Image 47.pdf. This is intentional.

I need a script that will delete duplicate songs out of iTunes/iPod, the script needs to check song title and album name. If the album names are not duplicate, the song should be left alone. Only when the song name and album are identical should the song be marked for deletion.

I am using the latest version of iTunes.

Help correctly tag music files with their proper years. The process is as follows:

- Download approximately 1200 music files (MP3 and AAC) from a secure ftp site (7-8 gb).
- Music consists of live and greatest hits albums from the last 30-40 years.
- Research each individual song using Amazon, iTunes, Wikipedia, etc. and correctly tag the correct year the song was originally released. We are not looking for the year the greatest hits or live album was released, we want the year the song was originally released by that specific artist.
- Upon correctly tagging the correct year, remove the comment “Need Correct Year” from the comment section.
- After all songs have been correctly identified, upload songs back to secure FTP site – confirm we have received them – and finally remove music from your hard drive.

Music is not to be changed or converted in any way to a new format. The original bit rate and file kind must remain the same. All other aspects of file identification (artwork, artist, song title etc) are not to be altered. The only items to be altered in this job are the year and the comment section.

I want the user to be able to select a season, and select up to 100 mp3 music files from their computer for each individual season. When a song is selected the user will also be required to select a ‘flavor’ for the song. When the emulator runs, I want it to play a random song based on the season, and run the flavor that the user set for the song. Karaoke Lister is for our users to look up karaoke songs we have available to sing.

The first part of this project is to write the html code so that we can run this html program on our website. PLEASE READ. I do not have any mysql or FTP access from our webhost. I can edit and run html or php code and can upload files to a certain directory. I will have a complete list of our karaoke songs on a .csv file. My hopes are that the Karaoke Lister program can be written to read this .csv file.

The second part of this project is to write the same but to run a stand alone laptop so that we can allow our clients to search for our karaoke song list at our events. Same thing here is that we would like the program to search a .csv file for the data. Also would like a lock feature on this part so that users cannot exit the program by accident. Would like a hidden hotkey for exiting the program back to windows.

Future project for this part may be to incorporate a touch screen instead of mouse and keyboard. More like a kiosk station. Future project for this part would be to have a send request to DJ from this station where the DJs laptop also has the ability to see the incoming request.

Here is how I vision how the applications would work on both the web version and the stand alone version.

Give me the ability to select which type I want the user to see. type=karaoke or music or music video. All this data is stored in our .csv file. I may be at an event where they are not having music videos at all so I would not select music video when I start the application that way no music videos would be displayed when they search.

After that feature basically allow the user to search by type, artist, title or genre. no searching by catalog#. If the user selects genre, then a list of all genres in our .csv file would be displayed in order. If they select COUNTRY then all country artists would be displayed in order. When the user selects the artist then all the song titles would be displayed for that artist. Also need a feature added that only shows one song title. We have many karaoke brands and have numerous same song titles. Only display one song title.

I am sure you will have lots of questions. Please do not bid on this project if you cannot complete the task. I expect lots of questions so that this can be done right the first time.

AGAIN I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO FTP OR SQL so the project has to be written to read a data file. Let me know if this is going to work or not before we start the project.

My site riffbay.com is a site where people can buy and sell guitar riffs/songs (pretty much like ebay but for music publishing)…bit of a weird idea i know but i hope it’s got some legs.

when a user fills out the sell form there is the option to upload their riff (mp3 format) (see at http://www.riffbay.com/sell.php#goto)…i have programmed this using php so it uploads the mp3 into my mysql database and my file server..the fields are:

id – (int) – auto increments
name – (varchar)
type – (varchar)
size – (int)
content – (mediumblob)

i need an existing flash mp3 player customised or built from scratch that can play the uploaded mp3′s from the database.

this mp3 player needs to be shown on the item.php page in the item description part.

so for each auction you have the standard description, information etc and the flash player that plays the riff/song. then the user can bid on the riff/song to their hearts content.

i figured this would have something to do with adding an auction id to each song that is uploaded or something like that but it is beyond my scope as a beginner programmer.

I have a music licensing site that helps get songs placed in movies, tv shows, advertisements, ect.

I already have a music player but I need some adjustments made to it for the front and backend.

Back End: I currently have a backend system to upload songs however I am not currently abel to edit the genre or mood of a song after it is uploaded, if possible I would like to be able to do this

Here are the adjustments I would like to make:

Similar to the search fields “genre” “mood” “2nd mood” I would like to add a search field “Style”

For Genres I need sub genres to allow for more specific search results. It would be great to have this in flash, as opposed to just drop down boxes.

As far as changes for the actual Music Player:
–> 2 Buttons to allow someone listen to an Instrumental version vs a version with vocals (for each song)
–> Button More By This Artist Link (for each song)
–> More Organized: Have headings for song name genre, Mood 2nd mood, artist name ect

Along with all of these, I would like some ideas and ways to make the system more user friendly, for instance I think incorporating flash or something similar which allows a user to just select what they want as well as be more atheistically appealing (if possible)

Help correctly tag music files with their proper years. The process is as follows:

- Download approximately 1200 music files (MP3 and AAC) from a secure ftp site (7-8 gb).
- Music consists of live and greatest hits albums from the last 30-40 years.
- Research each individual song using Amazon, iTunes, Wikipedia, etc. and correctly tag the correct year the song was originally released. We are not looking for the year the greatest hits or live album was released, we want the year the song was originally released by that specific artist.
- Upon correctly tagging the correct year, remove the comment “Need Correct Year” from the comment section.
- After all songs have been correctly identified, upload songs back to secure FTP site – confirm I have received them – and finally remove music from your hard drive.

Music is not to be changed or converted in any way to a new format. The original bit rate and file kind must remain the same. All other aspects of file identification (artwork, artist, song title etc) are not to be altered. The only items to be altered in this job are the year and the comment section.
