I am starting a new directory website and have a list of tasks needed to be done.

For example:
-Add voting and comment/review system to sobipro
-Add enquiry form for each entry in sobipro
-Modify template of entries and categories
-Modify template of search function
-Add Google Maps to entries

You would need to have access to the Sobi Pro plugins required.

I’m looking for someone able to create a new directory website. It’s a restaurant directory for restaurants in Belgium. To have a better idea of the scope and objectives, you can visit these similar websites: www.resto.be

Requirements:
- must run using Joomla & Sobi2 directory
- I will provide the joomla template to use (must probably RocketTheme)
- install and configure the directory
- search module will be displayed in front page
- front page will display articles, a top banner, a top menu (no left column) and will be based on a 1280 wide layout
- surfers can subscribe to leave a comment on a restaurant
- subscribed database can receive newsletters
- results displayed in gallery (in 4 columns) with a picture for each restaurant and the display of the evaluation
- each restaurant has a complete page giving all the needed info,
- each restaurant will be able to manage its data online using an online interface password protected
- restaurants can buy extra visibility and features by using paypal
- SEO optimized off course.

A lot of these requirements are already supported by Joomla and/or Sobi.

I need someone to make it happen all together, configure it and import the database.

Database creation including about 10.000 restaurants is part of the project. You will have to aspire data from 2 or 3 different sites. I can provide specific software if needed – but please come with a proposal.

I prefer to have an offer from a standalone developer in place of a company.

Sobi directory problem in joomla website. mce editor is not working on the front end of the sobi directory when users go to edit their listing details, it is simply loading an empty box with no sign of the editor.

I would like a programmer with good knowledge of joomla and sobi component.

The edit button on sobi directory within joomla doesnt appear to be working.
When logged in, and someone clicks the edit button within the entry for Sobi directory it takes them back to the home page with a “You are not authorized to see this page”
I will need someone with good knowledge of php and sobi to fix this problem asap.

I am setting up a local events and entertainment business listings website being developed with Joomla 1.5 on a virtual host using a wamp package –> (is this a problem for coders??!

I am willing to pay fairly for the project, on the condition that the coder is certain they will be able to deliver. Please provide a quote and timescale.

This is a joomla 1.5 code/plugin request for integration between:

1. Event host extension : ‘Eventlist’ (www.schlu.net)
2. Business directory extension : ‘SOBI2′ (www.sigsiu.net/sobi2.html)

I am hoping to find someone with past experience coding integration between SOBI2 and Eventlist. I’m sure there must be someone out there who has dealt with a similar request in the past.

Design Brief for SOBI/Eventlist Integration:

* The SOBI2 business listings need to be used for selectable venues when adding a new event instead of Eventlist’s built in venues database. (Preferably keeping SOBI2s top categories in order (not so fussed about sub-categories – but if either is possible then it would make me a very happy man.)
* An eventlist should show up on all SOBI2 listings for businesses that have listed events in eventlist – (Preferably this would be part of the SOBI2 entry detailed view as opposed to a link to a seperate events view)
* Venue titles in all events entries should link to SOBI2 listings. The only thing i want eventlist to keep track of is events and their eventlist category. All detail fields should link directly to SOBI, and any custom fields I add into SOBI should be publishable. (So in the detailed view for a single event, the fields for the venue details come from SOBI.)

* more work will come from this.

I would hope to be updated of progress and rough predicted timeline.

sobi2 component: custom template design for vcard and details layout to match site design., also, install of catagories, sub catagories, and businesses from various supplied csv files. So far site has fresh install of sobi2 without any cusomisation.

There is a lot to this project, so I will be very detailed; I need the Enter Event process changed as well as some specialty calendar views. I don’t care what calendar component is used, JCal, Eventlist, ect – whatever you think will work best. Please contact me with any questions:

Event Details

1) Title = short text description with character limit (40 characters)
2) Category = Choose from Live Music, Special Events, Dining Specials, and Weekly Events
3) Date/Day:
a. If Category = Live Music, Special Event or Dining Special, use regular date format with clickable mini calendar Start and End date
b. If Category = Weekly Specials, choose Day of Week checkboxes (Mon, Tues, Wed, etc)

Please let me know if jumpbox is a problem! When it comes to installing the project on my site, i will have to send a backup or do it myself.

Im not sure if the calendar will be a problem, it might need a way to map to the sobi listings as the venue. (I think it will just be a case of changing the venue reference in the code – Although im far from an expert on these matters!!)

Please let me know if what I am trying to do is breaking copyright – I wouldn’t want to do anything dodgy.
