Existing SMF forum requires customization and development of some unique functionality. The forum will be used as a swapping/trading platform. Some work has been done, but needs to be finished. Boards, categories, theme, colour theme and layout has been defined already. Need to add some button links, forms, slider and more. I require a smf forum set up on my WordPress Blog.I have been looking at the forums and people are quoting between $10-$20 hour.I wish to know how many hours it will take to install a SMF forum and get it working.I can do a one-click install with Fantastico,however it is verion 1 which is out of date.Version 1.1 is the version I need.
The work will include seeting the forum up on my webserver(Hostgator) aand passing the keys when it is running and funstional.

Hello I have SMF forum and I need some one to do the manual upgrade from SMF 1.1.10 to SMF 1.1.11. I also have two errors I would like to have fixed. They are 8: Undefined index: x-links_manage and 8: Undefined index: sitemap. I would also like you to quickly check if the few addons are up to date.

Any way that is what I am needing and I would really like to find some one long term to help me take care of the forum.

Oh and price is an issue on this one. Since it is strait forward I would like a fair price.

Yesterday our server went nuts, so i moved the forum to another server, updated it to latest version, but than i missed some language text on some pages , so i uploaded my backup again, and then, it got totally screwed.

i got errors all over, and its my wife’s site, so i need somebody who know smf forum very well

we used the dibermc skin.

Our forums are driven by SMF. Frequently members and admin post links to coupon / free offers from various items and companies. These offers either have expiration dates or limited quantities. It is really tedious to comb through threads checking for expired offers or promotions.

On each page for each individual thread we’d like there to be a simple link for reporting expired offers to alert forum admins. The goal is to reduce the time it takes to check for posts linking to expired offers.

i need that template converted to a SMF template.

I need a custom SMF Forum theme (I like a lot the theme of a website). I need also the implementation of SEO4SMF plugin for the seo links friendly, rss support and ads spaces.

This is just the latest version of SMF forum. No mods. Just design to match our website.

Looks good in FireFox. The problem is with IE. The font is much larger in IE…
– Nav links on top-right (HOME, ABOUT US, CONTACT)
– Just about all forum postings, titles, etc

I can’t give FTP access but I can give you files to upload and test on your server. If you are a CSS pro, then you might not even need the full files, just the index page and the CSS file.

This project has TWO COMPONENTS:

Component 1: Problem with iPhone/Safari text entry

I am looking for a programmer to modify my Simple Machines Forum so that it can accept responses to posts from users of the iPhone Safari browser.

Specifically, when an iPhone user logs in to the SMF Forum using the iPhone/Safari browser, the user can see and read the forums, but is unable to reply to a post because a keyboard will not render when the response box is tapped.

This project requires the programmer to modify the smf forum in such a way that a keyboard renders and text can be input and posted.

Component 2: Problem with Mac/Safari and PC/Safari Quote function

When using Safari for Mac or Safari for PC, users are unable to quote a post. Hitting the “quote” button when trying to respond to a post results in a green “loading” bar message, and the quote never loads.

This project requires the programmer to modify the smf forum in such a way that users of Mac/Safari and PC/Safari can successfully use the “quote” function
