We have a new website and logo, and I need the Powerpoint-slides to reflect the changes. I am looking for a slick, new design that will make the slides come alive.

Have some rows of data, a selection of cells in each row need to be copy/paste or inserted into a location on consecutive ppt slides. The values in each row are different and there will be several hundred slides with each specific row of data.
Need someone to be able to program the macro to copy the excel data row from a single file and have it placed on each individual slide in the ppt. The ppt will have to have a new slide inserted for each b/c it starts off with just the first slide. So there has to be a macro that inserts a new slide and copies the excel row in the specific location and then inserts the next slide etc. etc. That’s all. The slides are otherwise blank. The rows of data just really need to be on separate slides because the slides will be printed on specific documents such that the row of data serves as a label on each document. There may be a mail merge or some such to do this as well.
Work must be done ASAP.
Compensation for the time it takes to do programming and for file to be completed at takes to complete a file of ppt with multiple slides (for programming task that should hopefully and ostensibly not take much time for anyone who knows what he/she’s doing).
Anticipating the work to take no more than an hour or two b/c task to write this up should be simple.

I need a simple desktop application to work with Power Point and Excel.

Here are the main features:

The software needs to be able to compile a power point presentation from a variety of available power point slides that are saved as individual files. The software must have built in capabilities for the user to tell the program ahead of time which file to put into which location. The program must also have the ability to compile a corresponding excel price list from the slides that were picked and place them in the correct order. The program must have an administrative log in section that allows the administrator to make changes to the program and make changes.

Here is specifically how the program must operate …

Step 1: The user will input details about who the power point presentation will be given to such as the name of the Customer, the date of the presentation, and the name of the buyer or buyers that the presentation is given to. Also during this step the user will define the master file location where the slides that will be identified in the following steps will be located.

Step 2: The user will define the order in which the slides will be presented. They will do this by placing a number from 1 to 11 in a box next to the name of the segment. Each number will be used only once. The program must have logic built in so that if the user misses a number it will not let them move to the next step until at least one segment is chosen. The user may leave up to ten of the boxes un-checked but must choose at least one segment.

Step 3 through Step 14:

For each segment that the user chose in Step 2 another step will appear. One these steps the user will pick the individual items that they wish to have populated in the presentation. They must choose at least one item for each segment that appears. A segment or step will only appear if it was chosen in step number 2.

Final Step

During the final step the user will choose which type of presentation they want the program to create. They can pick as many as they want, but must choose at least one. Their choice are: Power Point Presentation, New Item Form, Show Form.

Behind the scences the program will compile the power point presentation as follows:

Using the data that the user inputed into step 1 the program will open up Power Point on the users desktop and will pick a template that I will supply. It will populate the information supplied into that template.

The program then will move to step 2 and will pick a slide for each item that was selected copy and paste it into the presentation and put it into the proper order. It will know which file to choose because in step 1 the user told the program the master file to search. Each item chosen in step 2 will have as their file extention name the same name as the user sees on their screen.

The program than will move to steps 3 through 14 as needed. In these steps the program will open up the individual item presentations and place them under the correct section. It will know to do this because each item will have the same file extention as the name shown on the screen.

The program than moves to the final step. Behind the scenes it will review the selections made in the previous steps and compile excel spreadsheets using a pre-loaded spreadsheet with only the items that were marked in the previous sections.

The attached drawings explain the program in further detail.

The admin section should allow the user to add and delete items and make other changes to the program.

My client has a current site at http://idtsoa.com/. They want the home page redesigned with Flash added. I have the revised home page concept (including the 4 Flash “slides”) in a layered Photoshop file.

The two deliverables (to be uploaded to http://s271686403.onlinehome.us/idtsoa/, which is not a live site) are:
1 – Home page redesigned and tested with Flash included (one HTML file, one CSS file, images, .fla and .swf).
2 – Interior page template (one HTML tested HTML file, images, and accompanying CSS), saved as http://s271686403.onlinehome.us/idtsoa/insurance/main.htm. I will personally be building out the other pages of the site.

FLASH PORTION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Only the portion of the page that changes — the part in the dark gray box (including the box itself) — should be done in Flash. The rest of the page should be done in HTML+CSS.
- I will provide the font and I want the text to be done in Flash — not as a static image — so that it can be edited on an ongoing basis. So I will want both the .fla and .swf files.
- The version of Flash required for the site visitor should be version 8 or lower.
- The order of the Flash sequence is as follows:
1. Business
2. Individual
3. Associations & Affiliates
4. Insurance and Financial Pros
- Each slide should stand still for 20 seconds before changing to the next slide.
- Transition effect should be a fade between slides.
- There is a Flash control needed — the user will need to be able to mouse over each of the four slide names at the bottom of the big gray box and click on the name they want. Upon mousing over any of the names, the name turns yellow and the white triangle slides to move below it. On click, it turns white. The “on page” state is shown, which is yellow. Once the user clicks on one of these names, the slide stays fixed on his selection and no more transitions happen unless he reloads the page.
- When the user clicks on the “details” word or icon next to the word within the Flash gray box, the word “Details” will change to white, and it will take the user to a page link that is dependent upon the slide the user is on at the time. In addition, if the user clicks ANYWHERE on the slide EXCEPT the “controls” area described above, he should be taken to one of the pages listed below (dependent upon which slide he is currently seeing). Here are the slides and what each page’s link should be:
1. Business – business/main.htm
2. Individual – individual/main.htm
3. Associations & Affiliates – associations/main.htm
4. Insurance and Financial Pros – insurance/main.htm
- If the end user doesn’t have Flash, the first slide (“Business”) should appear as a static graphic that when clicked on, goes to business/main.htm.

SITE-WIDE HTML+CSS specifications (see attached interior page template for look and feel):
- Default font site-wide should change to Arial.
- All copy on interior pages remains the same.
- To make your job easier, the width of the pages and width of the navigation is the same as the current site.
- I need the new top navigation “tabs” look implemented site-wide (site is less than 20 pages, all done as static HTML). The on page state and mouse-over state should look like the “Insurance & Financial Pros” tab does in the navigation on the attached mock up.
- Navigation tabs should be done as <li>s for easy ongoing editing.
- Navigation tab size should look as they do on the mockup — each tab has a width specific to it.
- Page needs to validate with W3C.
- Page needs to be tested in IE and other major browsers (I can provide access to a fast testing system if you want to use mine) to ensure that navigation works and the page design does not degrade.
- Page background on all pages (outside of white area for main page content) should change to yellow as shown in mockup.
- Positioning of elements and styling should be done within the style sheet whenever possible, not in the HTML.
- Copy existing Meta data and page titles.
- Page needs to scale taller if more text is entered in ANY of the three columns.
- Middle column needs to expand to fill space where right column is now if there is no right column content.
- Link color, bullet style and h1, h2 and h3 styles should be done as shown in attached file.
- In the sidebar, the the twitter icon and text next to it should link to http://twitter.com/idtsoa
- Also in the sidebar, the LinkedIn icon and text next to it should link to http://www.linkedin.com/companies/id-theft-solutions-of-america

HOME PAGE HTML+CSS Specifications:
- Navigation tabs should be done as described in the section above.
- The current little slideshow feature on the existing http://idtsoa.com/index.htm page should be moved to the bottom right corner of the home page and made shorter (as shown in mockup), but not so short that any of the images are cropped (cropping white space is o.k., cropping the colored part of an image is not).
- The “Join this list” and “Associations & Affiliates” in the bottom right corner box on the home page need to be links to associations/main.htm.
- The About Us box header (lower half of home page) should be a link to about/main.htm
- The Latest News box header (also lower half of home page) should be a link to about/main.htm
- All the boxes’ bottom lines need to line horizontally — so they should be fixed heights.
- In the “Follow us Online” box, the the twitter icon should link to http://twitter.com/idtsoa
- Also in the “Follow us Online” box, the LinkedIn icon should link to http://www.linkedin.com/companies/id-theft-solutions-of-america

Write and prepare MS power point presentations from articles provided on a specific topic. Need to create power point slides along with a script to read with the slides for video presentations. Presentations will be 2 to 5 minutes. Must possess creative and fluent English writing skills.

I have multiple powerpoint files, 6000 slides in total. Every folder has the same layout (although at times slightly different layout sue to resizing of boxes).

Need to access slides / images as external .swf files instead of internally. Current Presentation .swf file is far too big.

CURRENT ISSUE:
As mentioned, the current version of the presentation .swf file is far too large (6MB) to load &amp; function properly. The reason for the excessive size is that we have all the (PowerPoint) slides being stored/accessed in the presentation’s .swf file instead of externally.

NEED:
Need to access the slides externally (e.g. slides/slide0001.swf, slides/slide0002.swf etc.) so we have more control and resulting in a smaller .swf presentation file when loading.

What I need or require: I need a program or application that is capable of combining hymns that are a single PowerPoint files (I have about 1000 PPTs) to become one large show. It needs to be able to structure the hymns in various configurations: Standard (verse then chorus), Chorus only once at the end of the hymn, Skipping of verses. Also the ability to add more files to the program at a later date is needed. It will need to export from the program to PowerPoint. Also it needs to generate a title slide before each hymn and blank slides after each hymn. Also, the possibility of adding other text slides between the hymns.

What I already have versus what the provider will deliver: This will be a new program/application. I already have most of the PowerPoint files completed, still working on some of these, which is why I would need to add more songs/files at a later date. Specific expertise/background that I am seeking: Programming knowledge, someone with knowledge of PowerPoint and creative design ideas. Knowledge of Finale notation software is a plus.
