Get a Freelance Job

I need a freelancer type site, but for local projects.

It needs to have the ability for programmers to sign up by expertise and also define a local area they work in – preferably by zipcode and/or zipcode radius.

It needs to be clean and simple.

My budget for this is $140 tops. An existing, off-the-shelf solution that is proven is preferred.

This project is for the development and design of a comparison site in a niche market (click here for example: http://www.tunechecker.com/)

In order to be successful with this bid YOU MUST be able to show experience of:

1. Developing/building a comparison site
2. Working within a agile software development approach
3. Developing requirements from user stories and acceptance criteria

This is the first time I have used the site so please bear with me

I am after a forum type members only website.

I want as simple a design as possible with only a few pages.

Main page with headline, welcome blog and instructions
I want all new posts headlines to be on this page under the one general area. (I would want to change this when we get more members therefore more posts) when you click on the headline it should take you to a new page were the post will be with an option to comment (very normal stuff I guess)

There needs to be a sign up page were they choose a username and password and enter their account details etc. (this would be the page I would use a link in emails to get people to join)

A competition page were I would ask people to submit emails or videos of what they have gained from being a member in order to win … there should be no option to comment on others posts on this page.

And finally a contact us page which will be purely via email.

I need a beautiful, professional web site set up to sell sunglasses.
Site will start off with 500-1000 items. Must have shopping cart and easy to use interface for me to go in and make changes. Site will have thumbnails of all items which when clicked on will shows details and offer ability to purchase. See sunglasshut.com and sunglasswarehouse .com to see what it should look like.

I simply want a clone of a fixed-term membership site (aka MicroContinuity Site).

You would have to work with me to revise it till it was just the way I wanted but the site above gives a general idea of how it will look and function.

Everything would need to be setup so the site is completely automated once our deal is closed and all I need to do is write the emails and post the content.

An autoresponder system must be integrated so that after they purchase they will receive set emails every X amount of days.

Also I would need 12 or so password protected backend pages (all identical) where I could upload a video and post information, that’s it. (The emails they receive will direct them to these pages)

Each page to be created from an html template page consisting of basic top header, center section, a left and right column and footer. Table format ok. Basic outline as follows;

A) Header – Create solid colored header block with domain name and slogan line, to be provided, inserted as a text font so that wording can be searched.

Last try at this project. I run a fairly simple but popular Bulgarian property website at http://www.thetravelbug.org. However, I want to move away from property sales as the main focus and into permanent property exchanges. At the moment I have just set up a couple of simple pages for exchange listings. But would like to

a) Do something more professional looking abit like at http://www.french-property-swap.com or http://www.internationalpropertyswap.com/ but keeping overall look and feel of site but so there is a search facility and using paypal people can list their own advert after paying, or I can approve and make active after paying.

Possibly also allow people to list for sale as well as swap.

b) Once set up market under keywords for property exchange, house swaps and other relevant keywords to get traffic and publicity quickly.

Would be looking to employ someone for this job who has excellent communication, good skills in both designing and building websites, good offer ongoing support and and when needed and is good at marketing. Someone who can start on project more or less immediately and have ready before too long. Not charge extortionate fees. And maybe accept part payment up front and then rest as site starts to make sales.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

For right person could be a fairly long term option of work.
