I can get AIM to work…

BUT I can not get it to work using SIM (authorized.net’s form & page)

1. GODADDY logo needs centering on Footer at bottom of page, this should be same on ALL pages ( change template)
2. On homepage we need gold medal logo applying underneath the BUY NOW button of the centre blue panel. Be careful with this as we have Google translate running on the pages so there is some script which automatically stretches the page to accommodate the extra space needed for other languages and I don’t want this disrupted.
3. TOP-UP function on Home Page click on this tab and select VOICE/SMS. All info, functionality and layout on Voice product and Data product should be the same. Only difference is title.

It’s a simple 2D C++ projectile motion simulation, so far I have done all of the calculations, wrote the equations, basically all of the tedious bits are done, I only need help with fixing the projectile update function. it probably would take 5-10 min for someone who knows what he is doing.

a client wants to know whether it would be possible for an sms to add data to a database and how it would be set up re script and hardware.

Currently we have a usb modem with a sim card in. We also have an online shop (OScommerce or Virtuemart for instance)

Each time an sms is sent to the sim (this will need to be scalable to allow several modems to be used) the sms contents can be read and used to update the database.

The application would be for the Safaricom Mpesa money transfer system used in Kenya. The client wants to be able to take live payments.

NB The actual money is being sent elsewhere, the sms is only notification (with info of name, phone number, amount, transaction number, account info (could be anything – username, invoice number etc)). There would probably have to some kind of callback confirmation to ensure the details are correct.

What we need to know is how the hardware would be set up and how the script would interact with the database, security and procedure etc.

This is quite a big leap for us and we need to discuss this (where should the server be, how it all connects up etc). I have attached a zip of the software that is loaded with the usb modem. It might give you some idea of how the information is read (for instance, if an sms is sent to the modem sim while it is connected to a pc the message is shown immediately on the PC s we are part way there already – but obviously you will need to look more closely at the details.)

Programmer needed to finish a stock market simulation project that is mostly built. Each user has a portfolio which shows the stocks they have bought. I need someone to insert columns for avg paid, gain/loss on each stock, and a few others. I also need someone to tweak the standings and several other minor things. Programmer must be able to work from someone else’s code and have an understanding of the stock market.

I run a fairly busy website and it is now time for a new front page. The existing one looks dated an unprofessional.

I would like to have a few ideas thrown at me by someone with a flair for this kind of thing – but would like to convey the theme of the website (flight simulation) and to include our existing logo and an area within the page that will include a different screenshot every time the page is loaded.

The screenshots (jpg) are previous contest winners and have been copied into a folder and will be resized as advised.

The front page acts as an into to the main menu page – one for members and one for free access – so will need 2 different entry buttons.

I have an OSCommerce site and I am trying to use an Authorize.net SIM module to interface with authorize.net to process credit card transactions. Everything goes fine to the point where i enter the credit card information and then click sibmit. Immediately I get bak an error message :

An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.

This transaction has been approved.

It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will receive the product or service.

In talking with Authorize.net the point me to the generic error 52 which when reading the reasons I have no idea why the error is occurring. I need someone to walk me the through a solution to this issue.
