I have an existing web application, created with PHP/MySQL, that connects to a streaming radio source from Live356.com. We have moved our service to Shoutcast and need to connect to a specific Shoutcast server instead of Live365.

Currently the connection is made using some Javascript code from Live365, included in the player page. Now we need to connect to the Shoutcast stream, and read the stream details from the new server. The MySQL database has nothing to do with the stream connection directly, but we take the song information from the XML provided by the streaming server, and we use that to do a look up for the same song in our database. With a successful lookup, we can then display our custom info for the currently playing track.

Please see the attached document for an example of the existing connection code and some screenshots of the application.

You’ll notice that the code is very well commented. Continuing that is a requirement of the project. It must be clearly commented, in quality English.

For a developer familiar with PHP and Shoutcast (or other streaming radio providers), this should be fairly easy. We are just replacing some code on an already functional application.

All source code will be made available to the winning bidder.

I want to install and setup the SHOUTcast DNAS 2.0 in my site. I want to be able to run a live web radio using the win amp with shout cast plug-in.
I would like to display the web radio in my web page so the visitors to be able to listen the music.

I have a streaming internet radio for my church and want to develop an application that will work on blackberry and stream audio via BIS, TCP or WIFI (what every internet connection is available on the blackberry).

I have created a small API to post comments also. The app will carry it. I have developed the Android version myself but need the blackberry version

Need a script that will display a map of current listeners for Shoutcast stream. This should use Google Maps, Max Mind is used to pull the location information, however you would be free to use any method you like.
As long as the listeners are indicated on the map using a marker or pin, should also provide some of the other variables (ie. useragent, ip) in the Shoutcast xml file when a use clicks on a marker.

I do have a small script that displays the IP’s of current listeners, it pulls the data from the Shoutcast DNAS admin you can use if you like, or start from scratch.
The IP, Port and Password should all be in the url so the server’s can easily be changed

If you want to work on this now, I will stand by until your finished to release the escrow instantly so you do not have to wait on your $$!

This is a very small project, I have a script that pulls the IP address and user agents from the SHOUTcast DNAS, This does work, it lists each listener’s IP and information, but I need the data split up, something like

$shoutcast_data[1]['hostname'];
$shoutcast_data[2]['hostname'];

So for each active listener, it should list that users information, host, Useragent,etc.

I need someone who is familiar with shoutcast on slicehost (ubuntu slice) and can go in and fix a shoutcast stream that went down. It has been running perfectly for a couple of years and now the stream has stopped.

The site is already built, and everything is set up to work correctly. It is a radio station with online streaming. The stream has stopped working and I need for someone to configure it to work correctly again.

I can not log in to the admin area (lost password) where we would normally configure the shoutcast stream. If you can reset this password manually it might solve the problem.

Im looking for a flexible developer that is comfortable in making changes we desire as the site is being developed and we may require minor changes till we are satisfied as move to the next stage of the project to develop a custom wordpress theme linux/mysql/php or if suggests another CMS if better suited,for a political talk show internet radio station,we stream with shoutcast streaming server,the candidate does not have to be familiar with shoutcast server,but it is helpful,we would like to have a couple of different options for our listeners/viewers.

So when dj connects there will be no interruption on the air . And when dj quits the icecast switch back to the stream form the server and listener will not hear interruption as well . And the second file is shoutcast config which will grab stream from the icecast and broadcast . Shoutcast need because form their directory coming more listeners and icecast need to make easy connect for dj’s and no interruption on the air . We are starting a website for our new radio station running from Shoutcast CentovaCast system and would like to installed a Now playing feature, recent tracks, a live chat, and a request music system.
