Magento Add Shipment-status Column To Shipment Grid

Add the “shipment_status” column from sales_flat_shipment to the shipment grid (Sales->Shipments)

1. The DB will have a numeric value in “shipment_status” that shows the status – i.e. 1=delivered Null=un-delivered, 2=returned etc.
2. This status number has to be enumerated to show the actual status – ie. 1=delivered Null=un-delivered, 2=returned

Don’t need any admin interface – just the php and xml override file.

Upgrade Of Order Number Management System

Upgrade of Order number management system
We are into Modern retail business .. we sale our merchandize through various web portal, print media etc.
When we get order from market place we get a unique order number..
During the process of executing these order [there are many pre paid as well Cash on delivery ]and till we get the payment from market place .. following things happen…
Before Shipment :
A. after we get order and before we ship order get cancel for various reason .. such as : cancel by buyer, courier have no service to destination, merchandize out of stock etc.
After Shipment:
1. order shipped and delivered and we receive payment
2. Order shipped but return for various reason such as : refused by end costumer, courier have no service etc.
3. Cancel by market place after the shipment
Now for this we made a in house php / mysql script from a one programmer…
.the script have some errors, there are more to do in it …
All these i placed at one demo link with demo data in it .. which i will give to interested programmer who is interested to take it forward and deliver.
Programmer can bid after the evaluation and knowing my requirements

I want to have a site that will manage and process shippments for online salers using sites like;

Www.amazon.com
www.half.com
and others;

I sell products online using those sites I’ve listed and to process my shippments I would use either paypal.com or stamps.com, but I would have to enter my order imformation manually and this is very time consuming.

So I want a script that will import my sales from the site I listed and automaticly upload to either paypal.com (multiorder shipping tool) and/or Stamps.com.

I will then like to site to automaticly update the order status on www.amazon.com and half.com with the tracking information.

This site should allow for me to charge a membership fee.

Online Cargo Tracking Database

We’re an international shipping company and want to have an online cargo tracking option for our customers.

we will host the database with our web host (they provide MySQL).
need 2 interfaces: once for customers to access their shipment details (something similar to FedEx or UPS tracking system) and one for users from our company that will be entering the details into the database.

we will assign the number to each shipment and system must generate a unique random password. Customers will need to have both to be able to trace their shipment.
the customer access must be a very simple web page that allows them to see the current status of their shipment.

then we need to be able to create log-ins for the workers in our company to give them access to the database to enter updates.

this should be a very simple project to complete.

Virtuemart Fedex Auto Labels

- From the admin section, a ship request can be sent directly to FedEx for any
number of orders.

- A pickup date can be scheduled

- Shipment and packaging type can be specified

- If an order requires multiple packages, this can be specified,
along with the weight for the individual packages

- When a valid shipment request is made, the FedEx label is returned
(multiple labels are returned for multi-piece shipments)

- Information about the shipment is written to a shipping manifest (new table,
shipping_manifest)

- Through the admin section, the administrator can:

– cancel the shipment
– track the shipment
– view and print the label
– view and print the shipping manifest for a selectable date
– purge the shipping manifest data for the current date

- If an order has been shipped, the customer will see an option to “track this shipment”
in the order history. Order tracking is kept onsite, they won’t be sent to fedex.com.

We are looking for a work order system that we can integrate into our website to give us several functions to help with our orders. We can say its a Work Order Portal.

This should be a password protected system that would give us the ability to:

Regarding (13) – When Admin/Staff is modifying adding orders to the system they should be able to set the shipment status depending on the progress of the order. The choices should be in a drop down menu as follows:
Pending Document(s)
Pending Payment
Pending Assignment
Assigned
In Transit
Delivered
Canceled

Staff/Admin should be able to attach up to 5 files to an order for client to download.

There are 3 separate sets of users needed for the system. Each set should have a separate login screen. For each user the following information should be entered for each user.
1.Admin/Staff – Name
2.Clients – (2,3,4,5,6,12)
3.Carrier – (3,4,5,6,12)
Staff/Admin should also be able to view change each users Login / Password. The computer can automatically generate the Login & Passwords or Admin/Staff can assign them during the account set up process.

2. Client Order Tracking

This should be a password protected system that would give our clients the ability to:
-View Their Order & Order Status
-Select an order and ask as questions or request help.
-Client information (2,3,5) should be visible somewhere on the page when clients are logged into the system.
Fields seen by the client on this screen are as follows:
(1,7,8,11,12,13,14) Reference Above #1

Once the shipment status has been set to [Assigned] by Admin/Staff fields(9 ,10 – Pickup Date, Delivery Date) should become visible.

Admin/Staff should also be able to attach up to 5 files to each shipment for the clients to download.

3. Carrier Request Board
This should be a password protected system with a different set of users. The users of this system should be able to view a list of information as follows:
(1,7,8,11,12,15,16)

The orders that are marked as Pending Assignment by the Admin/Staff are the only orders that should be visible.

There should be a button beside each load the logged in user can click to select the shipment. Once a user selects a shipment the selected load should become visible under the Admin/Staff Control Panel under Shipment Request, The company that requested the shipment information should also be visible to Staff/Admin (4,3,5,6)

Admin/Staff should also be able to set up the email address that a notification goes to once a load has been selected.

We are to receive all rights to this project once complete as well, we do not resale our projects they are used for our company only.

The creator of this project will be expected to install onto and test on our server to ensure the project is running and bug free.

The system should allow us to create a log in using their [customer id] and a password for each client. Once they have logged in they should be able to see their orders and the status of each order. The customer should not be able to change any of the information but only able to select a order and submit a question to us. [Client should only be able to see 1-10]

Our agents should be able to log in and edit the status of the shipment as necessary. As well as set up and manage user accounts. The options for Order Status are as follows:
Pending Documents,Pending Payment,Pending Assignment,Assigned,In Transit, Delivered

The [Pickup Date] & [Delivery Date] options will not be used until the option [Assigned] is selected.

Another function should be:
A separate screen that a different group of users could log into and only see the [Load Id], [Shipment Desc],[Pickup Zip], [Delivery Zip], [Total Miles], [Payment Amount] they should be able to select the shipment and click request shipment. The system should send us the selected Order Id as well as their Company Name, Phone, Fax, Pickup Date, Delivery Date.

Our agents should be able to edit the list of users that can access this list and all of their information listed above.

The creator of this should be able to help us find setup & install on a server.

We have a small budget and will consider offers and services offered.

Ups Shipping Rate

Need help with what is sure to be a simple project. We have purchased an ASP based application that returns the shipping cost for a given weight, based on where it is being sent to. I know enough to have been able to hardcode several of the variable fields that will never change for us. I have the base code, current version is http://bbqnfools.com/wholesale/ups/ups_realtime.asp

Here are the modifications that need to be made:

1) Need to add a reset button that zeros out the following-
State Field (Field name: receiverstateprovincecode)
Postal Code Field (Field name: receiverpostalcode)
All unit amounts
Shipment Weight (shipmentweight)

2) Need to be able to set a unique number to be multiplied by the number of units input for each item. Each item needs to have its own unique number availbable for this. This will be the weight of the item itself, which would then be multiplied by the number of units entered.

3) The shipment weight should calculate the total weight of what has been calculated by multiplying the input field by the unique number mentioned above (which is the weight of each unit). In other words, if there are 2 units of 4 different items, it should calculate the total weight. The total weight needs to go into the “shipmentweight” variable, for when the Submit button is pressed to send to UPS for a rate quote.

4) The shipment weight box does not need to update on the fly. As is, it should display what amount of pounds where sent to UPS for the quote, when the quote is providedc by UPS. There should be no need to adjust anything there, so I’m mentioning it for understanding of expectations.

I know enough about all of this to make small changes, and I know the changes I still need will be simple for someone used to working with ASP… it’s just beyond my realm of knowledge.
