The site is a hub where two groups of users interact. Advertisers for products and services upload adverts on the site within specific price categories. Viewers will be able to select desired categories to view available adverts of products and services.
The site will not operate online shopping services but will advertise products and services. Viewers can be directed to supplier sites for this service where available. As the site is an advertising hub, suppliers of products and services are able to maintain their identity and they will not need to change the way they do business to suit the site.
Advertisers will need to register online and open an account to be able to upload adverts. Once registered, advertisers can upload adverts by creating one through the site (simple versions) or importing an already made advert. These can be in different forms, shapes or sizes.

3. Resize/adjust placement of contents on the “Homepage” to look like the mock-up attached.

Looking for a website that is similar to EBay where registered sellers can post items (products / services etc) and registered buyers can bid for the products / services. To register they would need an account and secure password & personal details. A section to enable rating and provide feedback on the buyers and sellers. A section to display the products with pertinent information, to close off products that have been sold; access to history of buyers and sellers. A section where sms can be sent to advise buyers and sellers of new products listed and sold etc. A secure payment gateway is essential as is some sort of accessibility via mobile phones.

Initially expect 100 buyers & sellers; however this should be easily scalable. Since we will be competing in a crowded marketplace the website has to be user friendly, quick and pleasing to the eye.

NOTES:
I need to own all the work including source code.
I need at least 6 months support.
I need to be able to update products / services myself.
I will ONLY pay via Scriptlance escrow – staged payments are okay and final payment will be two weeks after complete testing and the site has gone live. Payment will also be held back to ensure service is acceptable.
