We would like someone to perform at a little maintenance on our server which is running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Version 3 and CPanel/WHM/Apache.

Specifically…
- Need to clear up a drive space warning — Drive Warning: /dev/hda2 (/usr) is 85% full
- MySQL error with occasional crashing.

We’ll be more than happy to rate very high for a job well done.

Server Maintenance

March 26th, 2009 No comments

I am currently moving data from 2 old servers over to 2 new servers and have completed most of the work already however having problems doing a few things. I need someone to do the following…

1. Install xcache on both servers

2. Install ffmpeg on 1 of the servers with all video codecs for use on popular youtube style site.

3. Rsync a folder between the 2 servers

Any other help in speeding up the servers and helping with the load would be awesome too. The servers are both running CentOS 5 with cpanel/whm setup and running. Please include what else you can do to help speed up the servers on the messageboard.

Thanks,
John
