My dedicated server has expectantly slowed down considerably today and I need a server admin to diagnose the problem and fix it. Looking at my WHM Service Status and Process Manager pages I am unable to determine a cause for the server being so slow. The CPU and Memory loads are lower than normal.

I run wordpress, pligg and vbulletin on the server and it seems that vBulletin has become entirely unusable because of the slowdown so I have had to temporarily disable all plugins, otherwise it displays a mysql error message.

I can provide you with any WHM, Cpanel, SSH and FTP info needed. Please contact me as soon as possible with a bid since this project is quite urgent.

I have installed some accounts for a customer

As they requested i delegated an ip address to there account and then went ahead and restored there backups

Now when you look at there sites they dont work as the assigned ip to there accounts is shown as the main ip of the server

If you ping the sites they come up with the delegated dedicated ip address so i need all 17 accounts to have there dns records changing so that they now use the correct shared ip address so the sites work again

all you need to do is change each of the accounts so that they use the correct shared ip address

I already paid the money into a scriptlance escrow for the last worker i used he then logged into the account and didnt do a thing he went off for dinner and now when i try to talk to them they change there status to idol or log out

when they log back in i try to talk and they do the same again

When restoring a members backup the site is not visable it shows a blank whits page but when this ws on a customers account the site is working fine.

This has done this when restoring every backup

Also i have lost many backups from my server they just dissapeared and the server is not backing up every site any more

I need my old backups removing and to start again

I need the sever fixing so thatit backups every account and not just a few that it is doing now.

I also want to know why the restore backup for customers accounts are leaving the site with a blank white page

FIRST TASK (please estimate how long this will take you) – I need to create MySQL dumps so that my daily backups will also backup the SQL files. Here is the process:
1. Create a directory for the files to be stored.
2. Create a cron job that will run the MySQL dump command with the proper syntax for each database.
3. Set the cron to run once per day so that your database dump files will be backed up by the daily backups.
4. Manually test the commands to make sure that everything works.
5. Document exactly what you did in an email to me (location of directory, name of cron job, etc)
6. Also document the procedure so that the website admins can add any new MySQL tables to the dump procedure.

I have a CentOS server with PHP 4 and MySQL 4. I have attempted to upgrade PHP without any success. I think most of the dependencies have been installed, but something didn’t go correctly.
