Quick project, when a new image is uploaded to our site the link looks like this:

http://www.domain.com/viewcode.php?id=590

but I would like it to use the title of the upload to make it more SEO friendly.

For example if the title is “Bouncy Bouncy Video Scene 1″. It will look like:

http://www.domain.com/Bouncy_Bouncy_Scene_1

I have an existing site that has a some of the text embedded in images and other bad SEO practices. I need this site taken and turned into better HTML.

Site uses the script from answerscript.com. The script has spaces in the urls in between the title words as seen the the example below.

Goal: remove title section of urls and replace with just the question entry number.

Example:

http://www.answertab.com/mardi-gras/What is mardi gras?|47

New urls need to be more seo friendly:

http://www.answertab.com/mardi-gras/47

I have an online store and need to have a friendly URLs for my products. Right now all of my products url looks like this:

I would like them to look like this:

http://www.icyhats.com/productname

Don’t need to do the whole website just the URLs for the products.
Basically i need to have the products name show up in the URL.

I have an art website. It is not a photo sharing site. The artwork shows examples of my work.

This project is to produce some code that can be added to an existing .htaccess file to produce the required 301 redirection.

We have an existing cubecartv3 e-commerce store www.savoytimber.com that is using mod-rewrite to create seo friendly URLs. The site works well is very well indexed and rated by Google.

We have developed a new store to cover some of the products in the original store (specifically doors) – this uses cubecartv4 www.savoydoors.co.uk/index.php (note the index.html file redirects to the original store while under development). This site is also using mod-rewrite to produce seo friendly URLs.

The products have been copied from the old store to the new one and the product IDs are the same. To make the site live we want to be able to 301 redirect all the moved product pages from the old site to the new one (not the entire site). Two example URLs:

www.savoytimber.com/door-furniture/cat_139.html
should 301 redirect to
www.savoydoors.co.uk/door-furniture/cat_139.html

However, simply applying a 301 redirect in the htaccess file does not work correctly. See below:

Redirect 301 /door-furniture/ http://www.savoydoors.co.uk/door-furniture/
redirects to:
http://www.savoydoors.co.uk/door-furniture/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=139

The correct page is displayed but the URL is not the SEO friendly URL that we require. This could cause problems with duplicate pages in Google.

In addition applying the above redirect to over 800 products is not ideal.

This project is to come up with the htaccess code that will allow the redirect to the seo friendly destination URL for the 800+ products.

See attached current htaccess files from both stores.
Also attached is the list of URLs to be redirected – they are all either /door-furniture or /interior-exterior-doors

NOTE: You will not have direct access to the site or the htaccess file, but I can test your solution and feedback.

I have a website built with Joomla and need the URL’s to be seo friendly.

Instead of:

website .com/index.php?option=com_hotproperty&task=view&id=48&Itemid=2

I want it to be:

website .com/something-that-a-search-engine-can-read

Bid whatever you want, but I will select the bid that is lowest, from the bidder that has the highest number of feedback and a high rating.

Please explain your experience with joomla or the required technology to accomplish what I need, so that I can make an informed decision.
