This project is to fix the sef problem into a joomla website which is using the component com_property.

The bidders should be expert in .htaccess coding.
When you bid mention the phrase “htaccess and seo”

Note that this is a test drive project. What does this means is that i have more projects to come. Also if the coder is a seo expert this is a huge plus. Please provide work you have done.

I build our church website with Joomla 1.5 and a purchased template. I just can’t seem to be able to incorporate SEF! I would like to learn how to do this and would like expert to do this for our website. This might take a few minutes of your time!

Near the bottom, I need the draw_sites and the draw_search_sites functions changed to create a plain HTML HREF to $sites_array[site_url] instead of linking to /out.php?ID=$sites_array[site_id] BUT, I need a java/javascript that silently calls /out.php?ID=X so the outbound click is counted.

I’ll pay once I have a working file, but budget is small, sorry
Currently /out.php checks the ID of the site, incirments the click count in a database, and
does a 301 rediirect to teh proper site.

I have just taken over a joomla site that has the artio sef component installed. With this component installed I got php errors with it uninstalled it runs fine.

I have uninstalled it but need it reinstalling and to work on my server so the page titles are the links.

The main issue could be the previous owner was running on php4 where I have php5.

As I am on a family vacation I cannot spend time on this

I currently taken over a Joomla site which comes with the .SEF SEO plugin/extension. The previous owner was running on php4 whereas I run php5. I’m not sure what the issue is. I am guessing that it is something simple, that I just haven’t done as I’m not a Joomla expert.

However, when I enable the built-in Joomla SEF in Global settings, it gives php errors, with just sef titles on it runs but the links do not work.

I would prefer someone with proven history here with joomla. One more thing I uninstalled the sef component but have not reinstalled it.

I’m using a Joomla template to run my local business directory.

Eg: If you go to www.MiltonWeb.ca and Click on “D” and then on “Decks” and then on Decks by Dave it shows the following URL:

I need a modification to the sh404sef & sobisef component for joomla/sobi2 where if there are more than 4 categories in sobi2 instead of showing all 4 categories, it will only show the last 3.

For example,
http://example.com/cat1/cat2/cat3/cat4
it will show http://site.com/cat2/cat3/cat4

and if there are 3 categories, it will only show the last 2.

For example,
http://example.com/cat2/cat3

I am hosting a web site: seacoastnh.com. There is a newsletter subscriber pro on the front page — which was working but now I am getting the following error after the newsletter subscriber tries to confirm their subscription they get this:

I have a joomla installation, everything runs smooth. But I can’t enable “SEF URLs” or “use mod_rewrite” in the site admin section. I always gives me an error when I want to load the site. I think something is messed up with .htaccess file.

I need to enable these settings in order to use the extension

sh404 (http://extensions.siliana.com).

I need:

- SEF URLs enabled
- use mode_rewrite
- fully working sh404 extension

I think that the issue may lie here. These are the instructions for installation…

Make sure you are using Joomla! 1.5 and follow these steps:
1) Make sure you have built-in SEF enabled and functional, with htaccess.txt renamed to .htaccess
2) Install SEF Advance by uploading the SEF Advance zip file to admin Extension Installer

I have renamed htacess.txt to .htaccess. However, when I enable the built-in Joomla SEF in Global settings, my site does not show any pages – it just disappears!

So if you are a Joomla Expert and familiar with SEF Advance then I would really like your help. If you have a better solution than SEF Advance then I would be happy to take your advice. I would just like search engine friendly URLs

I have a great site www.rentkauaicondos.com. It needs some quick fixes. First I need someone that has SEF experience to help me with my urls, I have a lot of 404 errors, and I need those fixed. I need someone to set up the correct url structure for the site as I had it planned originally. I changed from one SEF to another, and now it is all messed up. So choices would be remain with current SEF, and fix the problems, or install new SEF and make sure it works with all the components, but at the same time does not create thousands of ghost pages that I do not really need.

Secondly I have a component called ezrealty, and I need a couple of fixes on that. Currently the contact now button for listing agents does nothing, so I need that fixed, and a minor change to the contact us page that pops up.

I know these should be pretty easy fixes for someone that knows joomla, and it should not take very long at all.
