Math Flash Application Change

February 12th, 2012 Comments off

Hi Brooke,

Hope you’re doing well. You did a Flash Math application for me in 2010, and I wanted to see if you could make a small change to it.

The file is online here:
http://mathwhizsoftware.com/multiplicationTables1to25_protected.swf

I just want to have the timer changed so that it will show the problem for only 2 seconds, and then it will show the answer for only 2 seconds, and immediately jump to the next problem.

Right now, it shows the problem for 3 seconds and then it…

Time Converter App

September 30th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for someone who can design an iPhone app that will allow you to add seconds, minutes, hours and days and convert it into the new time.

For example: I have 39 seconds + 46 seconds which is 85 seconds. I want it to convert it into minutes like 1 minute and 15 seconds.

The same would be for adding minutes. I would convert it into X hour X minutes and x seconds.

Basically a time converter that will add time and convert it as shown above.

I would also like for it to convert into weeks, months and even years.

Should be an easy project for the right person.

I am open to any feedback.

Simply respond with “time converter app” in the subject line.

I look forward to your response.

Godaddy Drop-catcing Script

August 28th, 2011 Comments off

I need a simple, non-api drop catching script for Godaddy.com.

It needs to work for the following extensions:
.com
.net
.co
.org

It must run on my dedicated server (php and mysql, curl is installed on the server).

The script will show a screen where I can enter the following information:

1) The domains that I want the script to try to register
2) The number of hours that the script should continously try to register the domains with Godaddy, pausing between each registration attempt for the number of seconds specified in Interval
3) Interval in number of seconds
4) username and password (the script must be logged in, in order to register the domains)
5) Launch (this starts the registration attempts)

Once the script is launched, it will show its progress:
for example:

x.com not available
Pausing for 10 seconds
x.com available
x.com registered
etc.

That’s it!

The Racingdata Class

June 4th, 2011 Comments off

Almost done. just need to add last few things. would like it to print in nice neat columns.

1. Create a new project, which consists of one class: the RacingData class.
2. The class should have data members that are used to represent the name of the player, the score achieved, and the time (in both minutes and seconds) taken to achieve this score. The functions in the class should perform the following:

set the name, score, and time
return this same data
print this data
3. Add a default constructor and a constructor with parameters.

1. The class should have an additional function that overloads the + operator, such that when used to add two objects, it will add the scores of each object as well as the time to achieve these scores. It will not check that the names are the same. The result of adding two RacingData objects together should be another RacingData object with combined data. Write the complete implementation for this function.

1. Construct a main method so that it can test the class. This is to be done by creating six objects that are to represent two players, each playing three games.

2. Using the OVERLOADED + OPERATOR, find the average score and time for each player, and print out which performer had the lowest total time and which performer had the highest total score.

#include <iostream>
#include <string>

using namespace std;

int patrickAvg;
int gordonAvg;
int partickTotal;
int gordonTotal;
void racerAverages(int minutes, int seconds, int seconds_sum, int minutes_avg, int seconds_avg);

class RacingData
{
public:
RacingData(string,int,int,int); //constructor with parameters
RacingData(); // default constructor
RacingData operator+(const RacingData& a); // overloaded operator +
void printRacingData(); //displays race results
int score, minutes, seconds;
string racerName;
};

RacingData::RacingData()
{
racerName = ” “;
score = 0;//sets score to 0
minutes = 0;//sets minutes to 0
seconds = 0;//sets seconds to 0

}

RacingData RacingData::operator+(const RacingData& a)//Operator + for the class RacingData
{
RacingData res = RacingData();

if (racerName == a.racerName)// copy name but only if both names are identical
{
res.racerName = racerName;
}

res.score = score + a.score; // add up all data
res.minutes = minutes + a.minutes; // add up all data

if (seconds == 0)
{
res.seconds = seconds + a.seconds;
cout << “0″ << endl;
}

if (res.seconds >= 60)//seconds can not be more than 60
{
res.minutes += res.seconds / 60;
res.seconds = res.seconds % 60;

}

}

void RacingData::printRacingData()

}

void racerAverages(int minutes, int seconds, int seconds_sum, int minutes_avg, int seconds_avg)//averages racers time
{
seconds_sum = minutes * 60 + seconds;
minutes_avg = seconds_avg / 60;
seconds_avg = seconds_sum / 3 % 60;

}

Uregistered Members Given Time Delay

May 29th, 2011 Comments off

Hello,

I need a simple script made to add to the photo section of my adult video script.

When the user gets to the photo page, they must wait 10 seconds (must be easy to change time) before the image is viewable unless they are registered/logged in.

A message must be displayed and say:

Registered users get first access to this image. Image will show in 10 seconds to unregistered users. To avoid this in the future please join free today and log in. Thank you (Show seconds ticking down)

Jquery Time Left Bar Plugin

May 16th, 2011 Comments off

I’d like a jQuery plugin that will demonstrate time left in the form of a bar (ideally working like http://www.idaab.com/bar/ for example).

The way it works is like a typical countdown script, only instead of displaying it as numbers, it displays it visually as a bar that goes from fully filled to empty.

At fully filled it should be considered 1 minute (for example), then it counts down by seconds.

There should be the ability to set the countdown time (for example, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, etc.)

I would also like the ability to set off another jQuery script when the countdown has completed. (for example pop-up alert, or change hide/unhide of some divs, etc.)

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Strategy:
The basic idea is violent outbursts market can be seen very early, and with no signals through a very clever Order management to keep the loss low.

Entry:
- Chart 3 seconds (configurable)
- Min 5 pip range, then many Pendingorders be opened only in the direction of the candle!
- Volume of orders is configurable 1000-1000
- A distance of 2 points (configurable) are Pendingorders ie. E.g., 100 pieces open, depending on the setting. Account size can be entscheident.
- The sl at each order the same size e.g. 2 Pip (configurable)
- The sl is always triggered off at the bid price, then one is not dependent on volatility spread

Order Management:
- The orders will be deleted on time (configurable), but each order has its own unit of time.
- The first order is for example after 15 seconds or deleted, the second order after 16 seconds, the third after 17 seconds, the last example after 15 min. (100 pip away from the first) all configurable.

The other part of the strategy I will send to after the fixed price agreement. There are two other strategies to programmers. If the first strategy successfully, a further cooperation is preferred.

Frame Pages

March 20th, 2010 Comments off

I have an advertising section on the site where members can read newsletters and earn points. They are suppose to read the ad for 30 seconds before they can claim any points.

I would like to update the site so instead of just making them read the ad for 30 seconds I would like to force them to visit the site for 30 seconds.

The top frame will include the 30 seconds timer and then the other frame will load our webpage or whatever it is we’re advertising. When the 30 seconds timer runs out, they will click a confirmation button in order for them to be credited.

So when they log into the members area, go to their inbox, and click on the ad they’re about to read, it should then load the page into this frame page and load the URL that is being advertised in the frame right below the timer. This should probably open up in a new window.

Thanks! Any questions please ask. I would like this started on as soon as possible.

I will select the winning programmer within 30 minutes to 2 hours so please stand by and ready to start if I select you.

Five Seconds Animation…

February 20th, 2010 Comments off

Hello!

I require a 3 to 5 seconds video animation for my website’s logo.

Here’s my website: targetrooms (dot) com

The animation will show the “targetrooms” logo like the introduction in james bond movies.

See this for an idea:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eKtD08vqlE&feature=related

The gun barrel should be replaced by the sniper scope and there should be no blood.

Please show me sample video animations of your previous work. If you have other ideas on how to make the animation cool, please feel free to drop me a message.

Cheers,

High Quality Red5 Recorder – W

February 19th, 2010 Comments off

Let me start by saying that I already have a solution created by a freelancer. The problem is that it is not high quality at all. The maximum resolution is 320×240, which is not acceptable at all. These videos could potentially go on HDTVs. So you can imagine what a 320×240 video would look like. File size is a factor, and for a 60 second video, the absolute maximum should be about 15MB. The camera will either be a Logitech QuickCam Orbit, or a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000.

In this particular application, the recorder will be on one machine, which will serve as both the client and the server. What this means is that 127.0.0.1 will be the Red5 server, so bandwidth will not be a concern.

What one of the most important things to me, beside quality is customization. A lot of settings should be done through Javascript, such as location of Red5 server, ability to make changes to the video quality (which in turn changes the filesize), how long the video should be (in seconds, most of the time it’s 60 seconds), and the size of the recorder. The player/recorder should also load on a webpage very fast, especially considering it’s coming from localhost. Flash/Flex version makes no difference to me. Just tell me what I need. This will be on a Windows 7 machine. The actual recorder should have no configuration settings. It should auto-detect the camera and microphone.

Some of the Javascript calls I need are:
- Start
- Stop
- Display of how many seconds left in a recording (can be customized using CSS)
- Ability to play an FLV file (this is optional)
- Function for when Record, Play, and Start.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks for looking!

Magento Optimization

February 8th, 2010 Comments off

I’m running a magento site on a fast rackspace server. The site and server have been already had full optimization and the site it’s self with page cache system is giving us very fast loading times.

My site contains 400 products.
The front end has about 30 bundle products and each bundle contains upto 80 product options to select.

My magento install has about 6 plugins and custom code along with the core code being edited.

Everything on the site works fine.

The problem is the more products you select on a bundle the longer it takes to add the item to cart and the login it takes to login and checkout.

add to cart depending on the number of items in cart takes from 6 to 30 seconds.

clicking confirm order takes 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

Adming eding a product takes upto 40 seconds.

I’ve installed magento on another domain on the server and thats nice and quick. So the problem looks to be a problem when accessing mysql.

I’m running linux which is due to be upgraded to plesk 9.3.

I need an EXPERT who is skilled in server admin work and magento to fix this problem quickly so my site will be able to handle thousands of visitors per day and load quickly.

Date/time Related Js Function

February 5th, 2010 Comments off

I need a simple JS that will calculate some times and dates.

It will have date input (you can use a simple ready datepicker control).

Pressing ‘calculate’ it will show the age of the person in days and seconds.

For example

You are 12,344 days old. That is 1,066,521,600 seconds.

It will also have another input where the user can type in a number and select from select box (days/seconds) and the output will be precise date/time when they will have that many days.

For example if I type in 10,000 and select days it would calculate:

You would have 10,000 days on 24th May 2011.

Forum Link Posting 2

Programmer first signs up for the account using software and then later goes into email to active account. Each sign-up only takes about 15 seconds and each email activation about 10 seconds.
Then 5-7 days later, using the software again, a link, and where permissible a photo, is posted on the sites that have been activated. This process takes 30 seconds or so for each.
Initially it will take approx an hour to watch some videos about using the software, setting up the first profile and uploading the forum list. Programmer must have high speed Internet, very good English and be able to easily read

Need Programmer For Mp3 Files.

January 22nd, 2010 Comments off

What I need is a programmer that can work with audio files , basicaly I have 2 mp3 files, one is a song and one is just a voice that talks about every 10 seconds and says the website name, this is a vocal tag, it gos on top of the music so that no one can just steal the beat , but when they pay they get the non vocal version. So I need the program to let me drop the music file in and it will determine the length of the song for example 3 min and 22 seconds, then it will combine 3 mins and 22 seconds of the vocal tag and create one file in mp3 format. These will be uploaded to the site , you can hear an example at www.BlazinBeats.com it has the beats with the lady voice over top to get an idea of what i mean . Im only interested in someone that can get this job done thanks.

Penny Auction Timer

December 19th, 2009 Comments off

We need the script for the timer on penny auctions
———

I am making a website and the page is oriented around a countdown system. If the timer ever reaches 0, the whole thing will stop. Below are the specifics:

I need a countdown timer that runs from 30 seconds to 0 seconds. If the timer is at 0 seconds, the script runs php code #1 (which makes the timer stop and if any user refreshes the page, it will still stay at zero).
There is also two buttons. If user clicks on button #1, the timer will get reset to 30 seconds remaining. Then the script will run the php code #2 (which allows the timer to begin counting down again from 30 seconds). If user clicks on button #2, the timer will get reset to 5 seconds remaining and same thing follows as the first button.

I want the timer counter script to between before certain hours (like let’s say, noon-4PM). I want the counter to automatically begin at Noon with the above instructions. Also, if by 4PM, the counter never reaches 0 (meaning it never reaches php code #1), I want the timer counter to stop, disappear, and a message appear over it to link it to a new page.

And obviously the timer should show the same number (seconds remaining) for all the users on the website!

Reduce WordPress Loading Time

December 16th, 2009 Comments off

I need a wordpress expert who is able to chat online with me and communicate closely with me in the first 30 minutes or so, before you go fully independent. If online, interactive communication is not possible, then please avoid bidding as the scam practice will be reported to Scriptlance and reflected in programmer’s reviews as well.

Reason:
To enable my 24 wordpress themes to load quickly in few seconds but currently about 20 seconds for many, we’ve found the bugs responsible but are just not able to fix them ourselves.

No need for the freelancer to work on an independent basis in searching for the bug or “DOING SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM”.

We can save everybody else’s time if the freelancer comes online for interactive chat, whereby we will tell you that removing particular items on page cuts the page loading time to few seconds from currently 20 seconds, and you will find that is just the area(s) to fix with your coding knowledge.

No programmer pride at stake here, as it is one thing to be able to code, and the other thing to be able to fix. (We have done the hard part in finding the MAIN places).

Note:
- Payment is based on performance (ie meeting the project’s goals), and not based on time spent.

In line with Scriptlance policy to compensate when project’s objectives is fulfilled, rather than when programmer has spent time.

(Note that how much time you spend is immaterial. What matters to us is the bugs are fixed and the page loading time drops to few seconds.)
If you spend a long time, and you have not solved the problem, no partial compensation !!! This is a term or condition here. Payment is based on performance and not on time spent !

- No abandonment of halfdone job because you are “not in the mood”, or that your programmer pride “has been at stake” (because we, as amateurs, found the bugs and tell you rather than you found the bugs yourself).

Lastly, Sorry about this intonation as we were scammed by irresponsible Caucasian freelancers before !!!

Where necessary to find other bugs to fix, to reduce page loading time to few seconds, for some themes you may have to do some searching on your own !!

The Racingdata Class

December 10th, 2009 Comments off

In a racing car game a RacingData class is used to represent the outcome of a certain race. In this lab you will create this class with its appropriate attributes and functions. You will then overload the + operator to work with this class. Finally you will create a small main() program to test your work.

Output

Danika Patrick averaged a score of 120 in 11 minutesand 10 seconds.
Jeff Gordon averaged a score of 105 in 11 minutes and 0 seconds.
The performer with the highest score was: Danika Patrick scored a total 361 points in a total of 35 minutes and 30 seconds.
The performer with the lowest time was: Jeff Gordon scored a total of 316 points in a total of 34 minutes and 0 seconds.

STEP 1: Create a New Project

Create a new project which consists of one class; the RacingData class.

The class should have data members that are used to represent the name of the player, the score achieved and the time (in both minutes and seconds) taken to achieve this score. The functions in the class should perform the following

set the name, score and time
return this same data
print this data
Also add a default constructor and a constructor with parameters.

Operator Overloading: The class should have an additional function that overloads the + operator such that when used to add two objects it will add the scores of each object as well as the time to achieve these scores. It will not check that the names are the same. The result of adding two RacingData objects together should be another RacingData object with combined data. Write the complete implementation for this function.

STEP 2: Construct Main Method

Construct a main method so that it can test the class. This is to be done by creating six objects that are to represent 2 two players each playing three games. Use the following data to construct the six objects:

Name Score Minutes Seconds
Danica Patrick 185 11 20
Danica Patrick 103 11 30
Danica Patrick 73 12 40
Jeff Gordon 155 10 10
Jeff Gordon 127 11 15
Jeff Gordon 34 12 35

USING THE OVERLOADED + OPERATOR, find the average score and time for each player and print out which performer had to lowest total time and which performer had the highest total score.

Magento Speed Optimization

December 8th, 2009 Comments off

I have a magento store which has custom code written, commercial extensions and modules installed. Loading time is a big issue on our site.

Category view page on average tasks 7-10 seconds
homepage on average takes 4-5 seconds.
product view page at 2 seconds.

The server is fast (dual servers from Rackspace) so the problem is related to the custom code or Magento code.

Normal CMS pages, adding to cart, checkout is ok but still slightly slow.

I need around 50% increase in speed so the code will need to be updated to make things run quickly.

This is a technical task. Do not bid if you are not skilled in Magento with custom core code changes!

I need this doing before 9th december.

I cannot pay if the site is not at least 50% faster overall. I can provide/agree with you key sections of the site which need to be faster than others.

I would prefer someone who can work daily on this and keep in regular contact with me.
