I am making a book search hub with all the book search engines.

Basically, a simple page with a form that allows the person to fill it out ONCE and it populates the individual searches. The site visitor then hits each engines search button to open a tab and do the search.

This, my web person can do.

What I need is each search result to display adsense at the top and side… and most importantly, save the page to the website so that each search then becomes sort of link bait for future searches.

It doesn’t matter if the “completed search pages” are saved on the fly, or the searches are saved and a script is run from a cron job once a day or so.

As part of due diligence I perform on prospective trade marks for clients, I am required to run 10 different web based searches using the same search term.

This should be a simple project.
We require an online database/catalogue system.

Entry of data:
The idea is that a user will enter the data as a “Title” and then a “Body”. Just a basic form would be great, similiar to a spread sheet.
So when a submission is made the following data should be recorded:
“Title” text
“Body” text
Date/Time it was submitted (AUTOMATIC)
User who submitted it (AUTOMATIC)

Retrieval of data:
In order to retrieve the entered data, the user can perform 3 types of searches.
1: a Primary search (searches for keywords located in the title)
2: a Secondary search (seaches for keywords in the title and also the body)
3: a Date search (searches for submissions made within a specified time frame).

These search features would be important:

+Wildcards (searching “mon*” will produce monkey, money, monk, monday, etc…)

+Phrase (searching “long bread” will only produce submissions including those two words in that particular order and spelling).

Also would be great if we can setup different user accounts, which can be setup with different privedges, for example one user may only be allowed to search, whereas the other can edit the data.

Another handy feature would also be for selected user/s to be able to delete duplicate entries directly from the search results.

I would like it to be fully online, so I will set up a host with a sql database for use (if required).

I have a hybrid website http://dontkeepsearching.com that uses a Smartsearch script and LJ Basic traffic exchange script. Currently the Smartsearch script is Perl with flat file database and the Basic LJ is PHP with MySQL database. However, certain functions are integrated across the scripts and databases, so care must be used when making adjustments to either side.

Requirements

1.)Need Aweber integration with site
Integration of Aweber list with the Smartsearch sripts mail system.
When a member joins the Smartsearch site, they should be added to my Aweber mailing list as well.
So when they click the confirmation link to join the Smartsearch website, it also confirms them to the Aweber mailing list as well.

I am looking for a programmer to create a search script (using PHP) for my web site that will query an existing MySQL database, and return the results to the user. The MySQL database is a simple database of about 2,150 products and includes variables such as: product_name, price, URL, product_ID, category, subcategory, sub_subcategory. There are two parts to this project. The actual search feature that the end user will see, and reports that the only Webmaster will be able to see.

SEARCH: The search script needs to return results by relevance, i.e. the results must show in ascending order the products/categories/subcategories/sub_subcategory that have the most number of search terms matching words in those corresponding tables. The search results must be presented to the user in an organized into category, subcategory, and sub-subcategory — with each being a clickable hypertext link to the respective page (excluding subcategories). The search results must be presented to the user in an attractive/intuitive way and integrated with my web site’s template. .NET programmer needed to make some simple tweaks to my .NET application for Twiter. DETAILS:
I currently have an application that searches fol!owers by keyword and then adds them to my fol!owers list. I need to improve the speed of this process as it’s currently quite slow, plus would like to make variable the number of searches per word/phrase. Currently, Only one keyword search can be done at a time but I would like to be able to select all 4 search boxes to search together or one after the other in sequence automatically. Also change the name of application so I can distribute it under my own brand.
Currently it automatically adds the searched followers and provides no option or choice to follow or not,.. would like checkbox “follow” option after search is done.

From what I’ve seen, this script does not actually crawl the other torrent sites to index the torrents. It actually searches the keyword “live”. So it will actually go and search each site, then organize the results in columns and categories.

The search catches duplicate results. Has a caching system, which I will leave up to the developer(s) to develop. Scalable design. Has a real time filter that can modify the search ie choosing the site that is searched or adding more keywords.

The design of the site should be similar but customizable.
The main design features required:
tag cloud of top searches that day on the home page, related searches and top searches on the results page.
The results page shows the results that can be categorized(using tabs) and also sorted by columns (default is number of seeds), and pagination.

Handling removal requests – The site states they can remove certain results. Its up to the developer to figure out how to do this.

Search engines: The code provided by you to gather information from the sites (and the code in general), should be well commented, css compliant and pages seo friendly. Other developers or myself should be able to add more sites to search and integrate the results by viewing the code if required.

I need a tool (not sure if it’s a script or other type of solution) that will perform specific searches on several travel websites (20-40 sites everyday), grab prices and other pieces of information and save everything on a database that can be transferred to Access later (csv file or something).

For now I only need the robot and the database part. The project does NOT involve retreiving and displaying the information on the web. By cutting this I am hoping to save work hours on the project.

I do need, however, an user friendly interface where I can maintain the list of websites, general settings (frequency of crawling, number of attempts on each site etc) and the paramaters of the various searches (To, From, Dates etc).

1. BULK DOMAIN UNAVAILABILITY CHECKER – has a field where you enter a list of domain names to check for availability of each. The names can be entered in with or without extensions included. There will be a checkbox for each of the major TLDs(.com,.net,.info, etc). These checkboxes can be used if extensions were not included on the end of the end domain names entered in with the results showing available or not available for each.

With the results, there will be a column added with links to maybe the top-five domain registrars that can be clicked on so my website visitor can then register the domain(s) that they want. The links will be affiliate links. The link should be redirects from my website so as not to have the ugly looking affiliate code attached in the status bar when hovered over.

I have a couple of examples of open source bulk domain availability checkers that can be used as a foundation. Check the attached images and files.

2. DOMAIN SUGGESTION GENERATOR + CHECKER – has a field where you enter a keyword or phrase, searches the keyword(s) using Google’s keyword suggestion tool while also searching for domain availability of each of the keywords suggested for the TLD(.com,.net,.info, etc) that is selected with the results showing available or not available for each along with showing the stats from Google’s keyword tool for each. only one extension can be selected per search (.com,.net,.info, etc), because I think this generator will create many names to check.

This tool will also have the option of including hyphens “-” (by checking a checkbox) between words when a keyword returned from google’s keyword tool is a phrase rather than a single word. If this option is selected, it would check domain availability WITH AND WITHOUT hyphens. If the option is not selected, it searches by default only, with no hyphens.

Something else I would like to add to the domain suggestion generator – I already have a misspelling function (generates misspellings of a keyword that is entered in) that I would like to integrate into the script, to generate misspellings of the keyword entered, and check Google’s keyword tool and show the results – I don’t know if this will be a very productive function or not, but I think it would be for Internet users who type a domain name directly in their browser’s address bar. Again, this option could be selected by checking a checkbox.

2 other options – an “add prefix” and “add suffix” checkboxes. I could enter in a list of prefixes and a list of suffixes for the script to use, from the admin page. The domain names generated with these prefixes or suffixes SHOULD NOT BE checked with Google’s keyword tool for stats, as they’ll not be popular search terms, I do not think.

So, the page that the script is on would basically show two options(I guess divided into the right have been left half of the page):

#1. The bulk domain availability checker where users can paste in many domain names to have checked. The field in which they enter the domain names should be relatively tall vertically.

#2. On the right-hand side of the page will be the domain suggestion generator that has a single line field where a keyword or keyword phrase is entered in. It will also have a checkbox to search for misspellings, another checkbox that when selected will add prefixes, and another checkbox that when selected will add suffixes to the keyword entered.
****Any domain name generated with the prefixes or suffixes should NOT be checked for Google’s stats.

The attached files should give you a better understanding.

This script should be able to handle up to 1000 domains (hopefully, or more?, can be configured on the admin page) at once, without getting banned or whatever, for both the bulk checker as well as the google’s keyword tool retriever/checker tools.

So, you tell me if some sort of proxy support needs to be integrated? Can JavaScript be used so that my website visitors IP address will get credit for the searches rather than my website’s IP address?

Obviously the script needs to work well.

It will allow me to choose how many display results for searches. It will use xml feeds from the ppc search affiliates above to display the search results so that they can be indexed by search engines. It will allow me to choose how many results I want to display from each ppc affiliate and list all search results from highest to lowest paying per click.

The program will perform 4 different type of searches: a web search (using the ppc affiliates listed above), a product price comparison search (using datafeeds from commision junction, shareasale, linkshare, performics, shopzilla, Amazon, eBay, kolimbo and shopping.com), a job search (using xml feeds from indeed.com) and a coupon/rebate search (using datafeeds from commision junction, shareasale, linkshare, performics, shopzilla and shopping.com – if possible).

The program will offer a combination of choices with regards to how many of the above type of searches I want to offer.

The application/script will also have a toolbar that can be downloaded by users, that will include all of the above functions and will display the results on site the application/script will be installed on.

This toolbar will be a seperate software that users can download that will serve one related pop-up or pop-under for every search queary from the tool bar or any search engine so that I can sell pop up advertising. It will not be hidden and shall be easy to remove from the users computer by going to the add/remove programs in windows. It shall be compatible with windows explorer and firefox.

The script will have an interface where advertisers can sign up for an account and purchase pop-up or pop-under ads by bidding on keywords or domain names. When the advertiser logs into their account they will set up their own campaigns with the following options:

Need to have top 10 positions for popular keywords with at least few hundred searches in Google per day. Proof is needed from the Google
(https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) that such keyword optimized has few hundred searches per day. Otherwise, no purpose is served by optimizing for keywords that have limited searches.
