I need a unix shell script to compress a list of directories and its contents into a single file then to login to a remote ftp host and upload the compressed file via ftp and then send me an email when the transfer has been confirmed so that i am 100% sure that the file has been transfered.

You will need to grab the emails (even if there’s a captcha – i’m not sure whether CL has one but I don’t think so), and then reply from my email address.

Also I think CL may limit the number of replies from an email address per day. I am not sure; you should be willing to work around any restrictions CL has. If it does, this script will need to switch email accounts for me and start using another of my email accounts for the rest of the emails.

Also, I will want to run these scripts once per day. So, there should be a way for it to only grab the ads from the last day.

Also, one thing i’m wondering about is whether this script can run itself (so that I don’t have to start it up) daily. I keep my computer on all the time and they should start themselves up daily and run if that’s an option.

It can work with any email client (I’m on a PC and can do webmail or outlook).

I posted a project in August of 2008 that was done very well and was tested in MOST scenarios. However, in use, one scenario doesn’t work.

First, here is what the script does:

1) we feed it a pdf of checks – 1 per page
2) The script cuts and pastes the “check” section of the check and prints them to our spec three per page.
3) It works very well for all number of checks EXCEPT
4) If I have 4 pages, 7 pages, 10 pages (basically 3x +1 where x is a number not equal to zero), the script SKIPS the last page
5) This page needs to be cut and put as if it was a 1 page check and remove the other stuff on the page.

To get the best idea, register and view what features are on it. It needs to accept 2 payment options (LibertyReserve and Webmoney). All customers need unique account ID

4. If immediate payment is required:

b. Must switch payment type from bank account to credit card.
c. Confirm purchase on PayPal.
