My WordPress site (http://bit.ly/rLEkEB) has the WP Geo Location plugin that we use to display satellite images for posts as well as the featured location on the homepage.

The issue is that the homepage uses Bing Satellite Map to display the location, but the plugin it pulls the coordinates data from is powered by Google Maps. Because of this, I’m having a difficult time getting the Bing Satellite Map to display just the way I want, in the center of the frame.

As a solution, I would like to integrate a Bing Satellite Map preview into the WP Geo Location plugin so I can preview what the map will look like and adjust the framing prior to publishing the post.

I need a “TV to PC” software which would show online streaming channels after downloading and installing the software on user’s PC. It should rely on Internet connection only. If you have it already done with source code it’s perfect, but will need some changes for re-branding the software under my requirements. Also, as you understand I need full source code with the software as well as resell rights. This should be a competent person ONLY who bids on the project.

The aim is to retrieve google maps satellite images into postgreSQL to be used as a layer, the application in j2ee has WMS link to google maps satellite image as a background of the geocoded elements( layer in postgreSQL), this should be done for free, apparently google maps does not provide this web service.
in short, importing google maps satellite images to geoserver instead of posting the geocoded elements( layer) as a kml to google earth.
Please give a proof of concept, a general explanation of how it will be done, as well as the period it will take to be developed.

I’m trying to fetch the image from this web page:

When you click on LAS you get this web page:

I’m trying to fetch just the .jpg image from the web page and need a php script that can do that for all (22) of the images.

One of our current tasks is to audit objects on different sites for clients. We require some creative thinking to produce a solution.
The process now is:
ON-SITE
1. Take a digital photo of object.
2. Make brief note if required (ie. damaged, needs updating)
3. Note down location on satellite map (by putting X on map)
OFFICE
1. Collate all photos and comments into web based spreadsheet style listing. When an object is clicked the link directs to the photo and comment (if any).
2. Copy list and also provide as “group” lists (ie. 10 groups like “entry area”, “carpark area”, etc).
3. Create web based satellite map view with links showing location of objects. Once clicked takes the client to the photo and the comment (if any).
4. Data is then burned to disc and client can browse with Explorer.

Ideal solution…
1. Our staff can travel around site with iPhone and (using new developed program) can take photos and add comments (if any).
2. Program automatically collates and applies to satellite maps.

We are open to different ideas or solutions. Our clients are flexible with the end product as long as they can browse/search for a particular object if needed.

Whether the data is stored as one unit then transferred in the office or whether each photo is sent via the iPhones 3G network is up to you. But keep in mind that there are usually 200-400 objects in each audit. A typical site would cover about 20-30 square KM.

Design must be stylish – web 2.0 and professional looking. Site design should incorporate the following elements.
1. The Xm and sirius colors and logos.
2. Images related to satellite radios
3. A radio selector wizard graphic module(i.e. how to find the right satellite radio in 3 easy steps)…content not required for this.
