CSS cleanup and multi-browser support

The site mcash.no needs a bit of css cleanup and added multi browser support. The page does not work 100% in IE and there is some minor bugs related to browsing the site on iOS devices (Safari).

The requirements are that the site works in:

Safari (desktop and mobile)
Internet Explorer
Firefox

The site is based on two page types; the front page and the sub pages. All sub pages use the same css so we are basically making multiple browser support on two style sets. Each sub page has some custom css to handle the page heading, except from this it’s the same all over.

The developer has to be communicative, available on email and IM (Skype, iChat, MSN or any other desired service). If the project halts and no communication happens for more than 3 days the project will be terminated and handed over to a new developer.

I like the colours, and the idea of the jagged header and footer – and this is replicated throughout all our promotional materials, so want to keep the colour scheme as is.

The logo is also used everywhere, and although I’m not precious about it, wouldn’t particularly want it changing.

The first impression of the site tells you exactly what we’re about – its vibrant and fun. However – it isn’t immediately obvious that its name is Wacky Wheelers – you’d be forgiven for thinking it was called Jeep Driving Parties. When we were just doing parties that was fine – but now we have added 2 other arms to the business with more planned, then we need to bring the other elements to the fore.

In brief – the company has three elements – the jeep driving parties, the ‘safari trail(s)’, and more interestingly sales, parts and repairs of the Jeeps themselves.

The latter element will be the main growth area over the next 12 months – and although overall traffic is up 68% on last year over the same period (ytd) so is our bounce rate – so clearly the first impression is not working.

I want any visitor to our site to be clear that we are the UK’s (if not the World’s!) leading experts in Gaucho Jeeps and Jeep Driving Parties – (the Safari driving being secondary).

1. On an iPad, The timer seems to count 2 seconds at a time. Sometimes it jumps at random intervals. Sometimes it goes up at high speed. The chapter called Playlist9 is an example of where this happens.
2. When I click on a playlist item, the video starts from the next chapter. E.g., if I click on the first chapter, the video playback starts from the second chapter, when it should start from the beginning.
