We need a custom script developed to convert .rtf (Rich Text Format) to an adobe .PDF using PHP 5.

We are looking for a Java RTF reader capable of parsing RTF files and read the RTF content as a DOM model. Kind of like a tool or API to call that will take a RTF input and parse it back to a DOM model. It need to support parsing all kinds of RTF for most commonly used features; styles text, image, table, links etc.

We have a FileMaker Pro runtime application from which we would like to transform exported data into .rtf or .pdf format adhering to specific formatting requirements. Transformation will include translation of appropriately tagged data into tables interspersed within the framework of a final document.

The data in the FMP database is intended to be exported as a single .csv or .tab file. The final document will be provided in either .pdf or .rtfformat, as approriate, and will contain tags indicating where specific blocks of “answer” data should be substituted from the database export.

I need a small, WEB-BASED CM application to convert Rich Text Format (RTF) files to JPG image files that can be displayed easily on any standard HTML web page. RTF files are to be created and edited using an industry-standard RTF editor. The GUI for the RTF editor must look and function just like the WinPad RTF editor. Application requirements:

The method for inserting images into the RTF text must match the method developed for WinPad.

The FILE function on the left-most side of the tool bar must include a JPG option in the SAVE AS drop down menu for converting the RTF file to a JPG format on the fly.

When the SAVE AS JPG FILE option is selected, a dialog box should appear so the User can specify the WIDTH and HEIGHT (in pixels) for the new JPG file to be created as output.

This CM application must be able to run on any typical web host server. In other words, platform independent and accessible from any client machine over the Internet.

The JPG images created as output must be professional in quality, and optimized for enhanced Internet performance. This also means the relational proportion of RTF content (text and images) must be preserved when the file is reformatted and resized on the fly as a JPG file.

Payment:

The chosen Developer will receive 50% payment when a working prototype can be demonstrated that satisfies all of the above requirements. A final payment will be paid when the project is completed

We have a .rtf for Word file (although this file is saved as .doc). One of our costumers has a Mac with official MS Word for Mac but can not open the file.

The project is to explain to us how this file can be opend in Word for Mac.
