I have put the right CHMOD rights on folders.

My issue now is that i don’t manage to upload any pics for products.

Pic is uploaded in the TMP folder but not in the final image folder.
It says “Destination folder is not writable or does not exists”.
Therefore, the folders exist and are writable…

I have a simple problem. I need a php/mysql page done.

What we are working on: A file called send_messages.php that checks “prights” for that user and checks to see if they have rights to send messages. If they do it checks to see how many messages they have sent per month / per day. Problem is that my default member rights are not added to a table called “prights”. I need a workaround.

Here is my problem. I have a table called “prights” that has all the user rights. I had a programmer do a script that looks in the table for a specific rights. Problem happened that default rights are not added to the prights table, only if I modify the rights. So when my script looks at prights, the user does not have the right that they need (even though it is default).

My thinking is adding it to my send_message.php file since that is where the script looks at those values. You can either change the script to do a default value of 4 (messages per day and messages per month). But if i change the value to 10 for that user, it would have to see 10 messages max. Problem with doing a default of 4, people that are not registered should not be allowed to send a message.

If you choose we could do a cron file that changes the table. How we do it is up to you, the programmer. All I know is I need it done. Not a hard project, but I tried explaining everything here.

I have added send_message.php to the download file on this project for you to take a look.

Let me try to explain it.

Table “members” has member ID – Each user
Table prights has “PID” which equals “ID”

Under “prights” table
ID = PID
If RID = “53″ exists do nothing

If RID = 53 does exist, adds following lines (example PID=100). PID is the constant. RID 3 & 4 are also constants.

Value=4 (Able to send 4 messages per day

Other problem might be that the script looks at the table right off the bat and if they don’t have the correct rights, it tells them they don’t. So you will have to make a modification to the script that changes it before it tells them that they have sent too many messages.

Bonus: If you add to the page where it tells them how many messages they have sent in last 30 days and how many they have left, I will add a bonus.

The project entails finding a programmer who is confident in ASP 2.0 for the building of a multi-functional website. I already have purchased the servers and software needed to host the site, and they are currently set up and ready to go. One person is handling the back-end and could work with the programmer by building the data tables in Microsoft Sequel that would be needed to service the site. Also I have an artist who can handle all of the design of the pages. The website will need a few intro and marketing pages, instructions for new members to be able to join online (and this will need to include a digital signature page allowing a background check powered by Intelius to be performed) and then from there an administrator (or staff member with special rights or roles) will then be able to see the results and either approve or deny their membership, with an orientation session being completed to fully activate their membership. They need to be able to schedule their orientation online as well. The site is going to be an interactive dating website, but we will MAINLY be doing tons of fun events and seminars with guest speakers for singles, that will all be in person, to encourage them to make new friends and grow personally throughout the journey of being single. There are three different membership types, and each type will have rights to certain website functionalities and pages. A basic membership allows them access to a detailed calendar of events and reservation options. If there is any co-pay, they’ll need to make their payment online (and we can connect this all to PayPal). The results from all the reservations also need to be sent back to our administrator roles. The calendar of events needs to be able to be changed / updated regularly by staff. A premier membership will give members the same rights as a basic, plus an additional “home” page, which will really be more like an intro page. The intro profiles for the premier members will be very simple; not a whole lot of information will go on these. However, premier members will take a compatibility test, one time during registration, and the results of their test will produce individual scores against each of the other premier members. Notifications of new members will be sent to existing premier members’ inboxes. Premier members can then rank all of the other premier members either by compatibility scores (like from most compatible – highest scores – to least compatible -lowest scores), by age, or by location (zip code). Premier members will also be able to email each other. In addition, I would like several other pages built for the premier members, including a single parents page, an events review and blogging page, a private photo gallery from various events, a page for press reviews etc (actually that could be left open for the main site for marketing purposes), and a page for links to previous guest speakers’ sites and materials. The last type of membership is for matchmaking only, and the only thing I need for them to do is to be able to take the compatibility test, and then staff/admin only can review their scores against all of the other premier members. Matchmaking-only memberships won’t have any other website privileges than that. I know this seems like a lot, and it will be fairly extensive work, but I only need the right programmer for this job if someone would be willing to do that and to work with my design and Sequel guys to help save money. I have built scalability into the hardware as I am very hopeful to go into other cities after Buffalo, so it will also need to be built so that it will be easy to add new cities in the future. The servers are already powerful enough to be able to handle at least 5 or more locations, and if we are successful with even one location then the payoff will also easily handle the hiring of someone for all of our IT needs.

We own an outsourcing web development company that has been incredibly overwhelmed by a new service we started offering. We have enough programmers to handle the load (for now) but desperately need designers.

Here is how it works:

1. Our clients will use our service and ask us for a design, we determine all their requirments (including if they already have a logo, pictures, color scheme, etc.) and what level of design they want.

2. We will then delegate the design to one of our 5 selected designers. We will try to delegate them equally so no one will be overwhelmed.

3. We will forward you all the client’s requirements and tell you whether they want a MEDIUM or HIGH QUALITY design. You will have a MAX of one week to provide us 2 mock-ups (these must be 2 completely different templates, not just the colors changed or something).

4. We will show the client your mock-ups, determine if they need anything changed (if so, we’ll tell you), and then we will get you to slice the design into valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1.

5. Each design you make must be made for the HOMEPAGE of the client’s website (unless otherwise stated) AND YOU MUST slice a template from this design. In other words, for each design, you must provide us a HOMEPAGE sliced design, and a TEMPLATE sliced design (typically just means removing the homepage content) to be used on all the other pages.

6. A lot of these designs may be themes for particular scripts such as WordPress or osCommerce, meaning you have to slice it according to the requirements of that script. We will handle the rest.

Simple and straightforward, right? Here’s some additional requirements/notes:

- You must communicate clear and concise English, if you can’t, I will be able to tell in your bids/PMs and will ban you from my project.
- We will pay you $100 for MEDIUM quality designs, this is non-negotiable.

I need help with creating a Delphi Timeline visual component. The idea is to display and edit keyframes for several objects at once. Compare with for example Adobe After Effects or Adobe Flash timelines, but much simpler in design.

Key features:

- The visual design should be simple, and stay in line with standard delphi components, such as TTreeView.

- It should work without problems in CodeGear Delphi 2007 for Win32. It should not require any 3rd part libraries.

- All source code should be included, and unlimited rights to use and modify it for our use. It is not required to have exclusive rights, but there must not be any limits in how we can use it (the only exception being that we dont require the rights to sell it as a separate component with or without source code).

- The time axis should be frame based, but it should also display time as mm:ss:ff. It should be possible to specify nr of frames per second (normally 25 or 30, but it should be open for any frame rate).

- Time axis is horisontal, going from left to right. There should not be any design limit in the length.

- Each object on the timeline should have it’s own line. There should not be any design limit in nr of objects. The component should also be able to display without any objects at all (empty).

- Each objects should have a unlimited nr of keyframes. There is always at least one keyframe at time 0. The key frames should be clearly marked on the timeline at the correct position. Again, positions are set in frames.

- Each object should have a total length property (in frames), which are independent from the keyframes itself. The length should in some way be displayed in the timeline so you can compare length on the different objects.

- It should be possible to zoom in the timeline, from viewing the complete timeline at once down to seeing each frame in detail. The zoom control can either be part of the component, or it can be set only using properties (however, it is preferred that it is integrated into the component). It should in any case be possible to read and set the zoom level from properties.

- The objects should have a storage property for a pointer, just like the data property of the TTreeNode.

- The component should have a navigator arrow to move along the timeline using the mouse. The position of this should be visible in the actual timelines as well (for example with a vertical line). It should be possible through properties to both read and set the position (in frames).

- Keyframes should be possible to move by dragging them with the mouse, firing an event with info about the selected object, the source frame and the target frame.

- It should be possible to right-click an keyframe, firing an event with info about the selected object and the selected frame.

- The component should be sizeable, and adopt to any size.

- It should be possible to select a object by clicking on the timeline or name, and this selection should be visible in the timeline. It should be possible to both read and set the selection trough properties. It should be possible to have no object selected, but only if no objects exists.

- Any colors, fonts etc. used should be possible to change trough properties.

There are only 8 little jobs in my wordpress installation. You need some knowledge and experience in WordPress an PHP.

Here are the jobs:

4. Integrate an gravatar.com image in the comment-section, so that is display the picture of an commentator.

5. My Comment Subscribtion Checkbox is postboned. I like it between the big textarea and the “Send”-Button. error messages should be on the same page at the appropriate place to display.

6. I have a problem with the admin rights in my wordpress installation. When i use the plugin “php exec” i need the admin-rights to execute some php code in pages, sites, posts. but as an admin i have only “user rights”. i don`t know why. make sure, that the php plugin works fine, so that i can execute some php code in sites and posts.

7. Integrate “Related Posts” under every Blogpost, so that the 5 best matching contributions can be displayed.

8. On 5 or 6 points in the website, i have a form from www.foxyform.de. it is always the same form. please rebuild the form with the installed plugin “cforms” and replace it with the old foxyform-forms on the website. error messages should be on the same page at the appropriate place to display.

Thats it. This is an easy job for the right person! You become access to wordpress and all information and links what you need. Most parts of the wordpress backend is in german.

I have an existing Mysql database with multiple tables. One table is our “Tickets” table. This is where we enter all of our service calls. We usually have a printed work order which the end user signs and the tech turns in. We scan it into .pdf and save it on our local pc server. This process is very manual and requires that we name the file and it isn’t linked to the database in any way.

What I want:
1. Create a page on our website with a secure login
– Tech login with upload rights
– Adminstratorlogin with rights to upload & manage
2. Administration page to manage users and users rights
– page should apply to entire database so we can develop more forms/pages and use the same log in/user rights
3. Allow techs to upload scanned work orders
– Require .pdf format
– Upload form should have required fields so file will be named correctly (client name-ticket number-date completed so file will be named like this: Fireyech 1088634947 032609)
– Upload form should require that name fields for client name and ticket number match existing clients and ticket numbers in the database.
- Successfully uploaded files should be linked to the matching work order by the ticket number.
- Newly uploaded work orders should be flagged and shown on a summary page waiting for approval/closeout.
- Once the administrators have reviewed the work order, they should be able to email/fax it to the client and mark it as “complete” so it is archived on our website or in the database
- The location of the file should be an address which we could open from any browser with proper login credentials.
