We are in the process of setting up a new website in the UK which allows estate agents and private individuals to advertise their property on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. We need a clone of rightmove website but with a different skin (and a few changes) – this includes FULL CORPORATE BRANDING AND LOGO DESIGN, CODING AND SEO, A COMPLETE COPY OF THE SEARCH FUNCTION, CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FACILITY AND EVERY OTHER FRONT AND BACK OF HOUSE FUNCTIONS.

Please bear in mind a couple of important things about rightmove website:

1. Rightmove is the largest and most popular property website in the UK, and also the 6th most popular website in the UK. You will see just from the website that their corporate branding is incredibly strong – in terms of branding we will need something similar BUT MUCH MORE ADVANCED WITH MUCH BETTER IDEAS SO YOU MOST BE CREATIVE AND CAPABLE OF CREATING A VERY UNIQE SERVICE AND IDEAS,

2. The success of rightmove.co.uk is down to 3 fundamental things:

A)it’s ease of use,
B) properties are advertised in “real time” i.e. properties have not been left on the website even when they have already been taken,
C) their search facility.

Firstly, we must keep the simplicity of the website.

Secondly we must have a process where people can upload photos,viedo, descriptions, floor plans, and status of the sale themselves by a simple online submission form which gets sent for company approval before being uploaded onto the website. There must be an option where if the advertisers wants to cease advertising they just simply click on a box on the form, press sumbit and the property is automatically taken off the website.

Thirdly, the search facility – this is the most important part of the website. Please take a careful inspection of the search facility – you must be able to replicate this search facility. The difference between rightmove website all a million other websites is that this search facility allows you to expand your search by X miles beyond your search area. You simply tap in your postcode (i.e. zip code), and chose whether you want to remain in this area or expand it by 1 mile radius, 3 mile radius and so on… Please do not bid if you cannot replicate this search function as we must have this search function in order to compete with rightmove. I will need to know how you will be building this search facility so included with your bid, please state how this will be done.

In addition to the above requirements, full adjsustment for payment facility by credit card you needs to give us full oprion of how ,amount,currency,cicle ie weekly monthly per click one off and other that we can creat in future and when all in which must be done by a credit card payment facility. so we can have the option for this is a ” ,pay-as-you-go-website” where advertisers pay for each day the property is advertised as opposed to a flat fee for a fixed period of time, the payment facility must allow the company to collect the card details and deduct the correct fee at the end when the property is removed from the website also we must have the option to motivid, block or extend the listinf (i.e. 7 days at price perday = total weekly,daily or monthly deducted from card).also when listing ended it is period of time we much have the oprion to restore for at least 6 month in other server’s PLEASE REMEMBER OTHER BACK UP SERVERS NOT ONE OR 2 THERE WILL BE MORE THAN 1 SERVER AND AS MUCH AS WE NEEDS

Create a script which allows a Rightmove Specification ZIP file to be uploaded onto our website and automatically parsed to add properties onto our portal.

The script should:

Conform to Rightmove Automated Datafeed Specification V3 standards
Upload properties onto our portal for each individual user.
Each user should have their own FTP access and unique Branch ID
Capture all information from the feed and allow automatic processing and manual processing of the script through the profile panel.
A script which allows the information to be exported in the same rightmove format.

Properties are listed for each individual user, we currently do not capture some of the information from the datafeed but WE DO want to capture all of it.

Database tables should be used, the more vitally important and required information on the specifications should be in its own table, however, agent/branch information should also be in its own table, and link up using a unique identifier such as agent id, branch id etc. And then the not so important information in its own table as well.

The script should be also easily adaptable to use on other sites, incorporating a user system which already exists into it.

tables and database that are required for this specification to be built as well as part of this project.

I intend to create a site for an estate agency in the UK using Joomla 1.5.* and an estate agent component available to download.

None of the available components have the facility of ADF to submit the properties to RightMove / FindAProperty.

I would like to invite bids to create a script to achieve this.

I am open to suggestions on which component to use as the starting point. The ones I have looked at so far are:

1)Set up a script that allows me to add ftp details to allow me to send the rightmove feed to other websites.

2)on the Lettog website, i also require the admin section to have ftp details that allow me to set up FTP details to allow me to send all agents properties to websites as one large agent. This will be in addition to me being able to ftp individual agent’s properties on their own profile

3) I would like all the ftp details of all the agents to be seen
under the “user list” profile details in admin(currently they are
seen in the profile section where agents log on), and NOT in their own profile

4)i would like all feeds to be set up so that they will automatically ftp the files out at 12pm and 6pm (UK time)
