Hello, I had a project written in VB several years ago and was sent the MSI install and setup.exe file and I am wondering if there is a way to reverse engineer these files and bring them back to VB source code? I have Visual Studio 2008 and want to get the source code on my old program to see if I can get it working again. I also have the exe file of the application, it runs, but does not do what it is suppose to.

Google now allows reverse image search. You can easily drag and drop images and it will tell you if it has the same image indexed previously.

Is it possible to automate this? Can we automate this process so that with a single click we can submit any picture from around the internet to google image search.

At present google reverse geocoding is used, which reverse geocode the data received from device and stores into data base, it does the geocoding of all the data received by the device, I want to make the reverse geocoding only when required i.e when someone clicks the pushpin only then it should be reverse geocode and address should be shown.

I need a piece of functionality pulled out of an existing application. It handles a secure login / handshake onto a proprietary network. I work in .NET so I would need some kind of .dll that I can call to perform the login.

Registration
1a) When Registering there is a custom field – Buyer or Seller….Buyers can only post projects and Seller can only Provide Services
1b) Privilege to provide service or Sell have to be enabled by the Admin
1c) Change static text State/Province to City above drop down menu
1d) User name must be randomly generated (8 digit) non-editable…not to be chosen by User…
1e) Tax setting section not required – as no direct payment to be made by buyer to seller…to be removed

2a) Alt text of logo to be changed
2b) Advanced Search link to be removed….functionality not required
2c) RSS feeds logo and link to be removed….functionality not required

Menu buttons
3a) The Categories button is redundant as we will not do normal auctions….to be removed
3b) Just three menu button – Help, members area and Revers serve the purpose – The page that comes up on pressing the Reverse button actually serves the purpose as the home page….thus the home page can be redirected here

As you can see the site is quite colorful and I want to keep it lively. I want them to know from the front page what we do in as little words as possible (see www.scriptlance.com when you’re not logged in).

Create a FUD .exe that once installed on a client machine creates a reverse proxy or similar using their connection.

When installed the program reports the IP and port of the client to the server, and stores it in a database.

The idea is to then be able to use the client’s connection and IP address to browse the internet from a remote location. So, the client machine could be used just like a proxy.

The program will not be used for any illegal purposes or sending email, all client machines will agree to an end user license agreement. Technically this could be called a legal “botnet” I guess.

The program must:
Be FUD to antivirus programs, or have the ability to be easily crypted to be FUD.
Must also work on all major windows operating systems.
Must work whether or not the client is connected through a router

1. install .exe
2. .exe creates reverse proxy on client machine
3. program reports back with the IP, and port of the client machine to server database

I’ll be having people agree to the terms (eula) before they download the .exe.

Some users will have installed the .exe and have a dynamic IP address so their IP might actually change often. So, we need the ability to either have the install report back often throughout the day what IP it is sitting on, or, have some way to check the IP of the installs remotely often throughout the day.

The entire goal of this project is to have all the installs work as proxies that can be used to browse the internet.

Looking to create a website similar to scriptlance but it will not be dealing with programming projects.

Like scriptlance, buyers should be able to pay to post projects, and members should be able to view the projects and choose the ones they want. Once they pick the projects they want the buyer and member should be able to communicate through the website and emails be sent when a new message is posted. When a project is done the members can upload files to the site and the buyers can approve of the files. Once approved payment can then be sent through the website to the member.

Require a simple PHP script that a user can enter a domain name and the script, using cURL will display all domains hosted on the server. I did get this project done in 2009 but it stopped working. Request files in the PMB.

- Button (?) That lets you run a reverse lookup from the selected number and display the answer: Name and Mailing Address

In my admin:

- Provide the ability to add other databases to search. If no answer in the database # 1 we’ll look in the 2nd … If the last database has no answer, return “NO ANSWER”
