I am looking for someone with experience in building Real Estate sites that has worked with RETS/IDX (Real Estate Transaction Standard) listing data feeds. I have a WordPress site and I am currently utilizing a third party that supplies us with listings data. We need more search capabilities; we need to build our own data manipulation platform.

Before reading the details of the projects, please read this:

Seeking a developer who can write a script that will automate the import of my RETS feed (from agent MLS) into FW Real Estate component for Joomla. Or a similar solution.

We have a RETS feed with MLS data. That data needs to be pulled by the script, then it needs to populate the correct places in the database so that FW Real Estate (or similar solution) will display the results.

I need to write a simple script that would let me run it off a crontab to:

1) Connect to a RETS URL using login data.

2) Fetch XML data using appropriate parameters.

3) And add (new) specific data onto the already designed MySQL database table.

4) you can use any existing RETS libraries to make this easier.

You need not work with PHP – any language is fine, but it must run on a lamp server. The end result data must be stored in the existing mysql database and in the appropriate fields.

If this works out then there will be a lot of work for you similar to this, I’ve been avoiding RETS projects until now.

Need somebody who is familiar with RETs and FTP IDX data downloads using cron and Curl and creating a search engine for that data that will be in MyQL. WE have all PHP templates for the page layout and 95% of scripts for the pages. WE just need the data to work in current PHP templates. This will be for is a working site now using a different database. We will copy this to a new domain and use your new data. Our designers will do the rest

The RETS data can be accessed using the Mris RETS Conduit Client already installed and working on our servers.
