Attached are some examples of ‘before’ and ‘after’, but we need somebody who understands this and can create these effects for a fixed price per photo.

Total retouching, from a regular shot to a marketing image.

Again, this is a long lasting relationship, so please post competative bids and then we’ll do 1 project with the image attached. Try to make that into a marketing shot like the other examples and if its good enough we can do the project.

I have attached a DOC with examples of before and after pictures we did already so you can see what the level of quality and style is.

And there is also a rar file with 3 original photos.

I need you for each to make them in the following themes:

Castle.jpg = make this in a romantic style. Like a fairy tale castle.

Angrykid.jpg = this has to become a poster for a horror movie. Its my son, so dont use too much blood and nasty things, just a commercial poster will do.

kidonswing.jpg = again, my boy on a swing. Make him swing over a cliff in a indiana jones styled image.

Remember, these are just examples, but imagine if they were from clients who needed them for use in ads. So please as high as quality as possible. You can make a small thumb and show me and i’ll pay you if we select yours. And after that we can work on more images, but i can’t afford to use a real client photo for this occasion.

I have 3 photos that I took of my kids that I need to have retouched ASAP.

The main thing I need fixed is their skin tone. I need their skin to be darker. For some reason my camera made them look very pale. I’d also like the colors in the photos to be more vibrant.

Have an easy and quick job. I would like two images to be retouched in different colours and also a watermark to be applied.

I’ll attach the files as such:

1 + 2) The master images that need to be re-done in different colours.

3) The colours of the cases, photo sent by supplier

4) Logo (to be made grayscale) as watermark.

So, we need the colours from 3) transferred onto the images in 1) and 2). On the housings we have the word ‘Iphone’ is missing from the back cover so please do not include that.

I need a 180×240 static banner created for my children’s boutique. I have several ideas on what I would like, but need someone who is good with Photoshop to bring it all together.

I also have 4 pictures of kids wearing my clothes that I need touched up a little and put onto white backgrounds.

We need to have head shots retouched, extracted and reformatted to fit our website. The original picture needs to be put on an orange background with a gradient fade to red. The lighting effects adn color balance for each portrait will need to look consistent with the existing photos.

For the background, the orange color is dc6338 that will fade into a red f8000 along the edges.

The image, once extracted and retouched, will need to be duplicated in black and white and in color. The black and white image needs to be 110 x 50 pixels and the color image 190 x 135 pixels

We would like to recieve the images as layered.psd files.

I have submitted two samples called “Samples 1,2 ,3″ for reference. I have also included a source photo called Project 1″ that we would like to have changed to teh above specifications. This initial picture will be a trial for us to see how the photo looks when completed.

Astronomical image retouching

You will be working with astronomical data from some of the world’ s most advanced telescopes, such as ESO’s Very Large Telescope and the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, as part of the production of stunning and beautiful images of the Universe.

Astronomical data go through various steps before resulting in a publication-ready image such as those appearing in magazines. One of the steps is performed in Photoshop. It consists in removing all the defects, artifacts and blemishes that are present in the raw data and do not come from the astronomical objects.

Requirements

Some knowledge of image cleaning
Work with Photoshop (not Elements nor GIMP, for compatibility issues)
Patience
Some knowledge of, or interest in, astronomy may be useful but is not necessary
Job description

We estimate that this job will take 20 to 25 hours depending on experience.

Your task is to remove defects from all the layers in a PSD file. The defects to be cleaned out are described in this document; clean out all those matching the defects in Section 2.1 (and only these):

a.- Bad columns and traps
b.- Stuff on the detector
c.- Cosmic rays
d.- Saturation bleeds
e.- Over saturation dot
f.- Satellite streaks
Do not clean other issues you find that are not in this list (the other sections in the document are for background information only).

A small example PSD file (470Mb!) is available in example.psd. The actual file will be provided by the responsible person at ESO and may have a size of between 1 and 2 GB.

Feedback

You are requested to submit a partially completed file for evaluation (PSD or full-res jpg, save-for-web, quality 80) after about every 5 hours of work and will receive feedback on the progress.

Delivery

The partially cleaned files, as well as the final PSD, must be transferred via anonymous ftp to ftp.eso.org, in directory incoming/general/outreach (ftp://ftp.eso.org/incoming/general/outreach/ but note that the directory cannot be read from outside of ESO). The files must be named xxxx_NN_date.psd where xxxx is the original name, NN are your initials, and date is the date of the file, for instance eagle_OH_2009-05-21.psd.

When transferring a file to the ftp server, send us a note announcing it.

Remarks

We have many other images in the pipeline.

We pay 5$ per photo for high quality retouch.

You must display excellent Photoshop skills – and you should only bid if you have a proven and professional portfolio and the user feedback to back it up.
