I had a video site created some years ago. 1st it was fine and we had more than 1000 videos uploaded. Now it has become un-useable and is crashing requiring mysql restart – then it crashes again. The site has install way more functions than necessary.

If possible the site should be cleaned up so it can run OK. My other site programmer described it as bloatware.

You will need to be expert in PHP, Mysql and familiar with other video website coding, e.g. mencoder, flv etc.

Looking to create a wordpress plugin that copies and backs up the current site its installed on. It should export a zip file that can be reuploaded to any wordpress site as a theme. Please message for specifics.

Things such as comments, graphics, hyperlinked URL, etc are some of the things this plugin will do.

I was publishing a Silverlight application to my server and it deleted my current website. My website that got deleted ranks on the first page of google. What needs to be done now…
1) backup the database and ensure the passwords are all recorded.

2) backup the site, but mark it as unclean so that is never re-used.

**** 3) remove the entire site.

4) change the FTP and database passwords.

5) if the site connects to any external data-sources – databases, rss feeds, etc. Change the password there as well and modify scripts as necessary.

6) download the latest versions of the software used for the site. Again – don’t rely on version numbers being the same.

7) upload and configure the new software, to get the site back as-was.

ensure no directories are writable by any other user. So, “drwxr-xr-x”, not “drwxrwxr-x”, or “drwxrwxrwx”. (chmod 0755)

9) remove any installation files – typically named something like “INSTALL.php”

10) contact us so we can re-enable the site.

Once these steps have been taken, and we have confirmed that this is so, contact us and we will re-enable the site.

If there is any advice we can render to help resolve this matter in a speedy manner, please let us know.

I need to have my pervious search engine page put up. The code is on my server.. the previous programmer put up a different page on that url that should not have been there. My computer crashed while I was trying to upgrade to Windows 7. (I was using MS Office 2007 before it crashed) During the upgrade, the upgrade failed and I was unable to continue the install of Windows 7 and I couldn’t rollback to Vista. Instead of formatting the old drive (that contained everything), I decided to install a new hard drive and install a new version of Windows 7 on the new drive. After a successful installation, I added the old hard-drive as a secondary drive and was able to salvage most of my important files.

Now I need to know how to get my old Outlook folders from my old drive and insert it into my new Outlook folder so that I can access my old mail. I am willing to pay for successful results. You must be very experienced and knowledgable with this type of problem. You must give me a step-by-step instruction for finding the old Outlook folders and inserting it into the new outlook folders. I have decided to use MS Office 2003 because I don’t like Office 07. Hence, the old Outlook is Office 07 and I currently have Outlook 03 with Windows 7.

I’m looking for a mySQL database guru to help move / restore a MySQL database application to a new server. This is a large database with ~4GB worth of data.

Please note this that this isn’t a simple MySQL dump. There appears to be some database issues with the present installation which will require some trouble shooting. We’ve tried some of the standard procedures to move the database with no luck. We also have a back-up copy of the database that was made on Feb. 1 but are having issues trying to install the DB on the new server from that back-up. Keep getting various syntax errors with the back-up.

Step 1. Analyse present database and reccomend/perform corrective action. See which tables can be moved and which tables may have issues.

Step 2. Move / install database to new server location.

Priority at this point is data preservation. If we have to rebuild database we can look at that as well.

Current server that is hosting the database is dedicated and I can provide root (WHM) and cPanel access. Second server which we would like to move the DB to is VPS with root and cPanel access (WHM, cPanel, Virtuozzo Power Panel).

Look forward to hearing from you. Will pay upon successful completeion of the project. We’d like to get this done ASAP.

I have kernel issues, so the reinstall is worst case scenario, im using atm the centos 5.4 with opnevz kernel (i have vps containers on the server) and all together is arround 300GB.

So the idea is:
1. You do the full backup of the server and put it on FTP i have.
- I have the FTP of my friends server where we can store this backup. So the space isn’t a problem.

2. You will try to FIX kernel – the booting issues, if you can FIX it’s OK, if you won’t be able to FIX it I will intall fresh CentOS 5.4

3. Then we have to restore the files from back-up into fresh CentOS 5.4.

If anyone can do this for me, i will gladly pay for the work, altough our budget isn’t to big, due to all issues this caused us lately! The wining programmer will be offered aswell to become our system administrator! Nice oportunity to get a steady job at us!

I just restored my server, and created the ftp for my domain and uploaded all the files to my ftp, I need someone to put these files to the right folders and add msql database which is already there.Its a 15 mins job for someone who knows what he is doing.I have Plesk installed so anybody not familiar with it please dont bid .

Candidate is required to complete the following for our HOSTED Zen Cart shops and customised Zen Cart sites. We have 17 sites on file that are live or almost live.

Make sure the Zen Cart installations are clean of hacking, injections, viruses, redirects, rootkits, extra files, unnecessary files, security holes.

Make sure databases dont hold any vulnerabilities in them via PHP in the database and any injections in the DB.

Once that’s done, restore any hacked sites (we know of at least three) to the original configuration to be usable as they were before the hacking events.

Consider the security of each site and append any security patches and updates that are needed to protect from future hack attempts.

This includes RENAMING the admin folder to a secure folder name and updating all settings in the config file for all Admin folders. Making sure all admin emails are correct and anything else that may have been changed.

We then require the Safe / Secure / Protected sites files to be backed up daily to our backup server FTP. The Database and all files should also be sent with the zip file so we can restore both Files AND Database at anytime to the state it was the previous day.
In the event our site is hacked we want to restore it in the fastest possible way. Please recommend with instructions the easiest and fastest way to do that.

While attempting to install an extension because adminhtml directory was missing, we lost our site. Fortunately we have a backup database. We need the following completed asap:

1. Fresh install of the latest Magento Commerce
2. Re-Install our hellotheme template and easy slider widget that came with the template
4. Upload our current logo and sign up now image
5. Need app_design_adminhtml directory if possible
6. Restore our backup database
