We are a company that rents equipment. We need a website which quite simply allows customers to book our equipment online and pay for the items.

The website needs both an interface for customers to make new bookings and to view their existing bookings. It also needs an administrative area whereby pricing can be set for each item of equipment, together with a per-mile delivery fee.

If equipment is not available on their requested date then we need to display a calendar showing where is is available so the customer can visibly select an alternative start/end date.

We will need emails sent at various stages and backend visibility of bookings in a calendar and list format.

This site really is similar to a hotel room booking application but where delivery is calculated based on postcode/distance from our office.

Invoices etc. need to be printed to PDF and all the regular features of a complete system.

The interface needs to integrate with paypal such that it allows refunds and acts accordingly in the case of a chargeback.

Customer accounts must allow for a different pricing agreement per customer to allow for a factored discount.

I have a “car rental” project to be developed, divided into several step.
In this first phase “on line reservation” work is partly done, it would be to fix the CSS and HTML of four ajax aspx pages, connected to a Microsoft sql database.
In truth, the page is only one, but divided in four, as it’s inserted inside an object “OBOUT – TABSTRIP MENU” of third party.
These pages will be inserted as an IFRAME into the web page.
The CSS and HTML (possibly clean or XHTML) must be cross browser and from given psd. In part it is already made, however, is not completely cross-browser and it is not perfect it could also be rebuilt, the changes will be generated some by psd and some with graphics and code delivered.
There may be also be done also script code changes about booking engine or other and following administrative backend.
