The problem is that my script can not convert files with Chinese or Japanese and other character in the name, so my idea is to rename all uploaded files before the conversion process.

There are city names for for state. You will copy a line rename the city name with new city name and put it on the next line. This will be done for each city name. URL’s have to be lower case. There is a sheet for each state. You can use the rename feature and a sample form and copy it once the line is changed to the original document.

Rename pictures

In attachment you will find a pictures.xlsx file. There is a column called ‘Image’, it refers to an image into a picture folder. There is another column ‘NewName’.

All the pictures (of the picture folder) need to be renamed with the appropriate ‘NewName’

I have a spreadsheet that has a column with the current names (filename) and a column that has what i want the names to be (NewAttachmentName. I have created a public proxy with nginx but when i download files the filename is not the original but simply “download”.

I need a rewrite rules that rename the filename with $args of url.
Eg:

site.tld/?url=proxed.tld/file.zip

the file.zip will be downloaded as “download” name, not with file.zip name. So i need a rule that rename the file with another with:

site.tld/?url=proxed.tld/file.zip&=filename.zip

This is very easy for who know rewrite of nginx.

We need to rename alt and title tags in the php files in our site. They need to be pulled from an excel list of words and randomly inserted as tags. We will send you the php files, and you can either do it manually or write a script. There are a LOT of words, so a script would be most efficient.

I have a php scipt called rename.php than runs as a cron job evey night. “rename.php” renames current folders to include today’s date (“Front” becomes “Front_2011_06_19″; “Games” becomes “Games_2011_06_19″ etc) and then creates a new folder “Front” and “Games” for tomorrow’s files to be stored in.

The files stored in the folders are photo snapshots from IP cameras that are stored on server but the number of files is getting too much and ziping each day’s photos when I rename will significantly lessen how many files are stored on the server while still allowing me a chance to view them later on.

I need someone to modify this php scripts so that before it renames the folder each night, it will zip all the files (photos) in each folder into 1 zip file, delete all the individual files, then rename the folder and create a new one to get ready for tomorrow.

I need someone to do some simple but tedious downloading task. Also need to upload completed work to my server using ftp.

What I need done:

1. Download sounds from websites I provide.
2. Rename the sounds.
3. List description of the downloaded sounds in a text file (one per line separated by carriage return).
4. Save image from page.
5. Put them in a folder.
6. Upload them (FTP) to my server.

I have about 3000 pages and each page has about 10-40 sounds average (Sound files are not large, usually 1-15 second clips). This is a very tedious task but I need the project completed correctly and accurately, so no automated solutions. I need an actual person or persons to do them manually. If the project is not done exactly to the specific, it won’t work with my software when I’m ready to use the sounds.

Please do not bid until you PMB me for more details. Its very important that you know exactly what I need so that you can bid accordingly. Also I would need to know your time frame because if you cannot complete the project in a timely manner, I might hire multiple people and divide the project.

2. Delete from the code all the opensource licenses etc to make the size smaller.

I want run wordpress, but would like to somehow rename index.php as it conflicts with an existing installation of another script. therefore i need to get wordpress working as blog.php for the main page as oppose to index.php and make sure they’re are no conflicts with any other wordpress functions.

I would also like documented what chances have been made to do this, so when an upgrade is required i can do this without breaking the site.

Script that will locate and renamed images via spreadsheet & account for duplicated file names in different directories will be renamed uniquely.

Script must be precise and allow permission settings for later manipulation.

Script must report errors or files is did not locate.

I have about 1800 mp3′s, I would say approximately 1/2 of them need to be renamed to a specific format.
- Not all songs need to be renamed or reformatted; many of them are in the correct format.
- There can’t be any special characters, only spaces and hyphens
- You are not to use any automated renaming software

I have approximately 125 images that need to be batch re-sized/renamed. Basically, i am giving you a large image. I need for you to create a small and a large image…and then just rename the extra large image…Here is how it will work

small – 175(w) X 199(h) [rename with "_s.jpg" at end of file]
large – 300(w) X 342 (h) [rename with "_l.jpg" at end of file]
extra large (no need to resize…but convert name to have “_xl.jpg” at end of file]

If an image is not a jpg, then just leave as whatever file type it is.
