Hello, I’ve had a new Version 3.3.1 WP site set up that was moved from an old non WP format. I’ve set up redirects through the Cpanel & hosting made adjustments to work. Now I need to add a plugin to add redirects through WP plugin & test to be sure all still works with old redirects done in Cpanel… I’m also receiving http errors in WP admin while trying to add plugins.

Need these two items taken care of asap as some old Google indexed pages are going to 404′s and these are product buy page…

The posts went from published to draft form today. Please 301 all posts to /blog.

My website has lots of redirects on it, the redirects are all in directories after the domain, ie:

mysite.com/1
mysite.com/2 etc.

My users use these redirects by adding their usernames to te end of them, ie:

mysite.com/1/username
mysite.com/2/username etc.

I have just installed 2 blogs on my site, I can visit the blogs fine, but if I try to access the blogs admin, or any directory after /blog/ the redirect try’s to kick in and I land on an error page.

So I need the redirects to continue to work but not to affect the 2 blogs I’ve installed.

I want to have a file on my server called “download.php”. When it’s called, I want it to cause a download of a file hosted on another server. I have the download URL link. The tricky part is that the URL download link goes thru 2 redirects (on 2 different domains) before reaching the actual file that has to be downloaded.

Here is an example of old url

The difference is that the 2nd level dir “planet-zemlja” and number “684-” were removed.

So if you are very good with .htaccess hashes and syntaxes you might be able to do this because setting redirect for each url seperately would really be a pain (there are 1000+ links).

We need some rewrites written for a site that contains dynamic URLs and Static, to a new site that contains only static URLs.

Basically, we’d only need you to create the “template” for the 3 types of rewrites we’ll need, they are:

http://domain1.org (root only) goes to http://www.domain2.org/gay-fine-by-me

www.domain1.org/?page=faq goes to http://www.domain2.org/gay-fine-by-me-faq

and

www.domain1.org/news goes to http://www.domain2.org/news

So, basically, anytime someone goes to the root of the old site, domain1, they will be redirected to a page on the new site. BUT if they go to a specific page on the old site they will get redirected to the proper new page.

I am loading Flash in an iFrame and then when that flash is done it redirects to another page. When it redirects, the iframe flashes white (over a black background). All of the background colors on the HTML pages and in the flash are set to black (and if that page is loaded directly there is no white flash … only in the iframe when the pages change).

Originally this also happened when the page loaded, but I was able to fix that with some css/javascript that I found online related to what seems to be a known iframe issue. I just can’t figure out how to prevent that when the initial source for that iframe redirects to the second page.

I have a few sites that have subdomains that need to be redirected (301) to the main domain via .htaccess

The subdomain code should be wild cards, so that anything that goes to xxxxx.mydomain.com will get redirected to www.mydomain.com
