A quick job is required to sort out the .htaccess file on one of my sites.

The site was running a cms system and has pages in the Google Index in the format http://www.mysitename.com/PAGE/ and an existing htaccess file sorted out everything and resolved to the php files correctly.

The cms is no longer being used and we want to redirect the pages to standard html pages in the format http://www.mysite.com/page.html.

I will provide you with the url, the current .htaccess file source and the names of the new pages, your job is to provide a working .htaccess file that will direct the already listed pages correctly in google etc.

There are only around 15 pages to do, so it should be a quick job for someone that really understands 301 redirects and .htaccess coding.

Needed asap. Please only bid if you are really into 301’s and can start immediately.

We updated our store with a new site, moved the old store into another directory. Old store has about 200 products URLS.
You need to redirect the OLD store products URLS to the new Store Products URLS. 301 redirects in .htaccess

Where I can enter in a domain like http://www.amazon.com and choose the part that is my affilate link. Background:
Drupal offers possibilities with the moduls path_auto, i18n to define front pages. But as soon you wish to redirect to /en/index.html it returns /en which is the internal default language.

The Approach should be made in Drupal and not with Apache mod_rewrite.

I’d like to set up my existing IP.Board forum into a framed page, so my IP.Board can retain the header from the rest of my site. Once I go live and change the url to the new one, is there a way we can automatically update all urls / create a redirection from all of the old forum pages (without the /community/) to the new url format?

The path to my current IP.Board forum (separate from rest of site) is:

The new (once this concern is resolved) framed IP.Board path will be:
http://www.mywebsite.com/community/forums.php

By comparing the above 2 url’s, you’ll see that the path of /community/ has been added, once the framed IP.Board goes live. My concern, is for all users who are using existing bookmarked pages, or direct links, how can we get all urls to automatically redirect to the same pages but with the updated address path (/community/forums.php) in the url so there are no broken links? Is this possible? Is it an .htaccess modification that needs to be done?

If this is not possible, what about including the rest of the site’s header inside the forums files? How would I include a .tpl header and .tpl footer? Is that the easier way to go?

Redirect visitor to different pages based on preset criteria, such as IP address and predefined list

I need a simple two-part script.

The first part writes a 360 day cookie on the user’s browser.

The second part is intalled on a different page and looks for the cookie. If it sees the cookie, it instantly redirects the visitor to a page I specify within that script when I install it.

The second part will be installed by me on different pages and redirect to the different pages I specify. Each instance of the second part needs to redirect to just one specified page.

The first part is the same cookie for all pages.

Note that I have tried to make it through the cpanel but it seams that it is not possible that way.

1- currently the site is www.domain.com pointing to the /public_html/ folder

2- I am now have created a new site in a new directory /public_html/new_site/

3- So the question is ‘How to make www.domain.com resolves in this new directory?’

I have 4 URL’s that need to be redirected. I tried to redirect with cpanel and htaccess but didn’t work out. I think because the pages are already rewritten to become SE friendly.

I have a client who wants people to be able to signup and pay for sports camp membership online. I feel this could be accomplished quite simply by use of a simple submittable html form, combined with a redirect according to payment type. If they select “pay by credit card or paypal” there would be either embedded paypal button code OR it would redirect them to a “buy now” button. If they selected “pay by check” they would be redirected to a simple “thank you page” with instructions on where to send check. I suppose all I need is to have you write the code to add the payment option code (how to pay coupled with appropriate redirect) — alternately you can start from scratch. I use NMSFormMail currently if you need a copy of a sample form and form processor.

We use Ektron (a .net cms) and there are a handful of pages we need to redirect to external urls.
However these pages are all using the following format: /Template.aspx?id=12040
and thus we cant use IIS to redirect the aspx page directly.
We need a small if statement in the .cs file for that /Template.aspx.cs page to query the id and then redirect each of the six unique id’s to the new external urls.
It should be really easy for anyone with decent .net background.

I am wanting a Simple Joomla Plugin created to preform the following.

when its this doing the pluggin is to do nothing.

in the Config of the Pluggin we will have control to put in an Unlimited number of Domains and reirects.

I have a website hosted on a Godaddy account using a Wordpress template. When I type the domain name in the URL it directs to http://domainname.com.

How come it doesn’t show the www. part in the URL bar? This seems like a very simple project to make sure the URL shows www in front of the domain name. Can this be done through the Wordpress template or do you have to access through FTP?

I need a simple php script written that will produce a line of code that when pasted into a standard html page, it will display on that same page the content (any html) that I have on a specified page.

For example.

I may put an ad with a graphic and a link to buy on www.example.com/myad.html. I would then enter that url into the script you made and it would produce a line of code. I could then take that line of code and paste it onto a page at www.othersite.com/otherpage.html and the content that is on www.example.com/myad.html would then be displayed on www.othersite.com/otherpage.html.

The purpose for this is to be able to make it as easy as possible for someone to add my advertisement on their site, while still allowing me to make changes on my end and have it be reflected on their site without them needing to do anything.

I am assuming this will be done with php and a redirect, but I will leave the technical side up to you.

I will provide the graphics/html for the look of the script, but basically, it is going to be a very simple interface. Enter the url of the page that has the content you want displayed and click ‘create code’. Then Copy the code and paste into the html where you want the content displayed.

I’m looking to get a piece of software done that will allow a person to “host” links and edit urls that the links go to at a later time.

There are probably many ways to accomplish this.

Example. I enter a url into the software. It gives me back a redirect link. Then I go post that link on several websites.

At a later date I want to change the url that all the websites links redirect to.

The software will allow me to open the software and change the url thereby redirecting all the posted links to a new url.

I’m thinking the posted links may have to redirect to the software and then the software will keep track of which url I want to use.

If you can create this software for me quickly and inexpensively you’ll get the job.

I need a redirect script that works like this:

I want to be able to create campaigns, so lets take campaign #1 for example:

Inside this campaign (we call the campaign “newcampaign1″) I add groups with keywords and a URL like this:

Group1:
Black
Grey
Brown
URL: www.group1.com

Group2:
Pink
Yellow
Green
URL: www.group2.com

Group3:
Blue
White
URL: www.group3.com

Example how the script should work:
Now, if I send a visitor to www.mydomain.com/script.php?campaign=newcampaign1&keyword=i-got-a-white-horse
Notice that the campaign name is in the URL and that there’s a keyword sentence in there with “-” instead of ” “.

Then the script would go to the campaign that is called “newcampaign1″, it should then look through all groups and
find the best fitting group, in this case the “keyword” in the URL contain the word “white” so group3 would be the best fit, so it will redirect the visitor to the URL in group3.

Lets take another example:
If we use this URL intead:
www.mydomain.com/script.php?campaign=newcampaign1&keyword=i-love-my-black-blue-and-white-frog

Then 1 keyword fit group1 and 2 keywords fit group3, then the script should redirect the visitor to the URL in group3 because it had many more matches than group1.

I also need to be able to create, edit and delete campaigns and groups.

Also, I want to be able to set a error-url for each campaign if no matches is found.
