Let me start by saying that I already have a solution created by a freelancer. The problem is that it is not high quality at all. The maximum resolution is 320×240, which is not acceptable at all. These videos could potentially go on HDTVs. So you can imagine what a 320×240 video would look like. File size is a factor, and for a 60 second video, the absolute maximum should be about 15MB. The camera will either be a Logitech QuickCam Orbit, or a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000.

In this particular application, the recorder will be on one machine, which will serve as both the client and the server. What this means is that 127.0.0.1 will be the Red5 server, so bandwidth will not be a concern.

What one of the most important things to me, beside quality is customization. A lot of settings should be done through Javascript, such as location of Red5 server, ability to make changes to the video quality (which in turn changes the filesize), how long the video should be (in seconds, most of the time it’s 60 seconds), and the size of the recorder. The player/recorder should also load on a webpage very fast, especially considering it’s coming from localhost. Flash/Flex version makes no difference to me. Just tell me what I need. This will be on a Windows 7 machine. The actual recorder should have no configuration settings. It should auto-detect the camera and microphone.

Some of the Javascript calls I need are:
- Start
- Stop
- Display of how many seconds left in a recording (can be customized using CSS)
- Ability to play an FLV file (this is optional)
- Function for when Record, Play, and Start.

We are looking to hire some narrators, and I need to find a website that offers mp3 recording software that is low cost.

What might be ideal is mp3 recording software that has a 30 day trial period for free. But, sometimes those only record just two minutes– and that’s not good for us. It needs to be able to record at least 30 minutes.

It also needs to be able to record in mp3 format.

It needs to work on Vista. (I’ve had a few that I used in the past that worked great on XP, but now I see they dont work on Vista).

There are a bunch of these mp3 recording programs on www.downloads.com, but I’m running short on time and cannot spare a few hours to go and check them all out one at a time.

Hoping to find someone on Scriptlance that has some time to spare and can hunt through these to find a few suitable programs that meet the above specs.

We have 5 Linksys Ip Cameras, WVC54GC model, they provide with a video only (no audio) stream in .ASF format. Linksys comes with a software to do streaming and viewing and also to record, but it creates a lot of problems and doesnt meet our requirements.

We’re looking for a .Net application written in VB or C# (your choice) that moves files from the computer it’s installed on to a secured WebDAV folder. The application must be customizable per installation, presumably through an external XML config file.

The application upon initialization will look for a USB-connected digital voice recorder. Files will be copied from the recorder to a working folder on the hard disk. The user must provide user/pass authentication to connect to a specific secure WebDAV URL. The app will then upload all the files from the working folder to the WeDAV folder, adding a date-stamp to each file’s existing name.

Upon completion of uploading all files, a quick check such as file size compare is desired to verify completion. The app will then move the files from the working folder to a new folder named the date-stamp used above for archival purposes.

Once these processes have been completed, the files on the recorder may be erased. Error handling at this point is to stop the process and reset. The files on the recorder will be untouched allowing the process to restart.

More detailed descriptions with functional diagrams, user interface layout, etc. are available upon request.

Looking for someone to create a php script to work with the youtube api that will capture third party webcam recordings, upload them to a specific youtube account (backend – not needed for the person recording), and insert video embed link into proper mysql table/column after youtube upload. Looking also to add tags, description, and title from third party form as well but all done simultaneously or in two steps for each added video. Must be done in PHP/MySQL.

Not required but would be great (bonus $$) – if the script to add the recorded video to multiple video sites automatically (i.e. vimeo, metafilter, etc.) but youtube is a must.

We need a software that will record the audio from the PC onto MP3, WMA, or WAV format files, to be chosen.

The software needs to be able to record conversations held through Skype, Google Talk, MSN, and any other VOIP applications. It should NOT be an add-on, it should be a separate application. Ideally, it will record (if chosen) every sound passing through the sound card, meaning, every sound that comes out of the speakers (line-out) and that goes through the microphone (line-in).

Ideally, the software will give the option to record the voices taking part in the conversation separately, in different channels (line-in on Channel 1, line-out on Channel 2), so that one voice can be altered while the other one remains as recorded.

The software will also have a player, so that the files can be played in it. It will have the following ‘buttons’: play, pause, stop, next track, previous track, fast forward, fast backward.

It should be able to run under Windows ME, XP, Vista, and 7 (32- and 64-bit systems). Mac and Linux options to be discussed.

I need someone to create a keystroke recorder that will record all keystrokes and log them into a text document for viewing. This program must be compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista. It should run in stealth mode so that it is not detected while it is in use. We need a W32 commandline tool that can:
- Screen record a flash-game in a browser window
- Can simulate random clicks to the flash-game, allowing the screenrecorder to record “real action” from the flash game.
