Hello, I need my web site to be re-built, in Joomla, as my last web designer ripped me off and left me with an unfunctioning & unfinished website. The website is www.cptcresults.com I want it built exactly the same so with the same design & feel but built correctly also so it can be found easily on search engines and works well with SEO. I now know that I need to change website host provider to allow for the submit button to work (which I’ve learnt along this stressful journey, I am no techy but picking up bits and pieces) which I’m in the proccess of doing but it would be helpful if the person who does this tells me what I need from a host company before I swap over, so I’ll wait for that bit.

I’m afraid I am on a very tight budget for this now as gone through like 3 different companies now who were all crap and just wanted my cash and didn’t care about the end result. I gave them all the same design brief and not one of them explained the problem with the host Also there isn’t any real desgn involved as it’s a rebuild so I’m not willing to pay through the roof for this but it does need doing properly (in other words please no timewasters I honestly can not take anymore of that).

This is from previous emails just for reference: country/state/city are now stored in single database field and when ….script is executed with all 3 values set on big database of traced numbers it can be a bit slower than if we had separate field + numerical fields for country/state.
But to rebuild this way we need to rebuild script in several places and rebuild existing database….

I have a tiny website hosted by www.register.it I let my subscription for the linux hosting lapse and the website vanished. Since I paid the subscription I have been unable to coax the site back into action. A friend tells me the db is missing? This may or may not be the case. I am looking for someone to nose around on the site and endeavour to get it up and running again. If the db is missing then I can rebuild it.

I asked register.it to recover the site as it was in July and they say they can’t. The site is called www.somewherespecial.it and when I try it I end up on a spurious page.

6. program in search function
7. program in a recommend process so it will suggest m3 files based on what other users have listened to.

for the most part this is what i need done. i might have missed some small bits of info.

communication via skype voice and chat both

need completed in a timely manner

this will need to be done on my current system due to the fat that there is alot of stuff behind the scene that is needed for this to work and the site is too large to give you a copy of.

The rebuild needs to EXCTLY match the existing site, but without the browser compatibility problems (misaligned footer in Firefox, misaligned background in IE, milaligned bullets in chrome).

I have a flash Banner on my site (Site A) which includes certain links to key areas (Pages) on my site (A). This Flash banner is used on the main site and then I use the same Flash Banner (Loading it from Site A) to pages hosted elsewhere on another site. (Site B) Site B has a different URL and is also hosted elsewhere. I want the banner on Site B to call the key pages on site A. This is not happening at the moment for some strange reason. I do not want the banner re-designed just the URL call’s (5) fixed.

- Ability to control basic CSS functions from admin (IE: if the project is used on one server, they can set the coloring scheme without modifying code)
- Ability to add/delete stat categories and associated values (makes more sense when looking at the code, but it’d involve table editing)
- The entire script and associated SQL should be able to be packaged nicely so that it could be easily installed by a novice

The problem is that the solution I used to get the navbar to overlap the page content is creating “invisible padding” at the top of the page. A full description of the problem is at the above URL.

What I need is either a quick fix, or (if needed) a full page code redo. The fixed page should look exactly like the current one – just not have the “invisible padding” problem.

This is a very advanced layout, so please only bid if you have very advanced CSS skills.

I have a site written in PHP. Google has marked the site as being likely to harm your computer. There appears to be malicious code in the site. I have a great many inbound links and would wish to keep them. There is some updating to do on the site but overall the basic site should remain the same. I have a new ASP/CSS Dreamweaver template provided by www.ecommercetemplates.com. It’s a simple design built using CSS. I’d like to hire someone to edit this template to match a new template design.

I can provide a layered Photoshop PSD document (screenshot), FTP access if required, existing stylesheet and anything else required. The new design is similar to the original with a header, footer and two columns. It needs to support IE6,7,8 Firefox 2,3 and Google Chrome as well as being W3C compliant.
