I’m looking for a PHP / MySQL champ to help me make some changes to a PHP script that I started building a while back.

The code really is pretty simple and quite short. Just a few pages of code really, probably around 10 or so including HTML.

…my wordpress site has been attracting a TON of backlinks from this particular website, within a matter of days. I posted the comment with the hope of obtaining just one backlink, but now I’m being constantly bombarded with backlinks from this website.

As a result, my site has been penalized and my search engine ranking has plummeted!

A few days ago, I contacted the owner of the above blog and had my comment removed…but my website continues to get backlinks from it.

This whole issue is really frustrating.

What could be the cause for this sudden explosion of links? I only launched my site around a couple weeks ago, and already it’s gotten over 300 backlinks, mainly from the source I mentioned in the first paragraph.

Basically this flash presentation that i need to create is for a financial wealth management company that will use this ether through a browser to present or an .exe file to present to their clients.

it would be like a PowerPoint presentation consisting of probably 5 slides, but it will need to be very smooth and creative between the transitions and overall feel to the flash work.

There will be information on all the slides but only 2 of the slides will have a section where it would have a link to another slide and or information that will show. (Perhaps like a show / hide type text or better effect with action script)

There is a theme that will be showing all through the slide (stepping stone like image)

The flash work will need to be created having in mind that in the near future it will be expandable so that it can have room to add more slides and information.

I need a 2 homepage designs in sharepoint. They are really going to be the for the same company, but must have a slight difference to each, so that you can tell they are not part of the same thing. Basically one homepage will be for local visitors and the other part will be for members of that company and industry. Overall thought they will look very similiar. Maybe just slight change in color or something on one.

The homepage doen’t have to connect to any other page. The only thing that will move at all is the menu expanding. So it really just needs to be coded in sharepoint, but really it’s just a mockup.

They don’t want the flash aspect at all to the site.

What they like about that site is I like the clear delineation of areas on the main part of the page (below the banner). They like the expanding menus along the left, with the little green caret widget showing that you can expand. You can see that on this page http://www.stemilt.com/healthy/Pages/default.aspx# It’s on the left. Make sure to have something like that on the homepage. They like the use of contrast color, bold, and indentation there. They are really big on navigation that is visually clear like this.

I am less crazy about the large banner up top — I know lots of clients love that but to me it is a bit “dead space” (not just this site, but in general). On this particular site I am not certain how clearly the “our Fruit, health eating” etc tabs read as navigation options — it’s possible users might see this as part of the banner and not really understand that they are site sections. In particular the visual connection between the title of a page like healthy eating (in the main part of the page) and the tab at the top I think gets lost.

They really like the little design grace notes — the apple “go” button and the ladybug highlight on the tabs.
THey like the title headers with a photo (like Apples Nutrition Facts).

For the sort of site tools section, again, I’d like to see FAQs, for example, lit up in the top bar when you are on the page.

As a usability people, They are big on scannability and making sure the important things on the page “pop”

So this is what the site will model after. The actual site has nothing to do with fruit. It’s a totall different industry. But they want it just like this site. The colors that will be used should be white with some blue and a little bit of yellow. I’m lenient though on going anyway you want with this, but it can’t clash with the logo.
