Description:

We’re looking for a web developer to help complete a few features on a novel web application launching in early 2010. You’ll be responsible for some interface development (including all the markup and Javascript required) as well as some backend work, like the controller code for the views you build, as well as importing and exporting various models in various file formats.

You’ll need to be well-versed in these areas:

* Interface and interaction design
* Standards-based, cross-browser compatibile HTML and CSS
* Ruby on Rails
* Javascript, especially jQuery

Nice things to know that we’ll teach you if you don’t:

* Haml and Sass
* The new stuff in HTML5 (we’ve got a lot of <section>s)

Extra bits we’d love to see:

* Experience with the Excel format
* Experience interacting programmatically with Craigslist (we know, there’s no API)
* Experience writing Javascript that JSLint likes

The position is available immediately and should last a few weeks.

We are hiring a front end developer to help in the finishing stages of building a truly innovative RoR business application app that we are privately launching in December and publicly launching in January 2010.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

* jQuery and/or MooTools
* Haml & Saas
* MVC Frameworks (Rails preferred)
* Knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred).
* Comfort using the Linux operating system (shell scripting, cronjobs, installing software, etc).

If you naturally gravitate towards standard compliant, modular, and object orientated writing of front end code, want to work on something truly innovative (one of the first things we’ll do is walk you through the app before asking thousands of questions about your recent work), and can start working part time soon, then please let us know.

We are based in LA/NYC

We Need Someone To Work on the Project for the next 4 Weeks at 30 Hours per week.

We Have A Test Script For You To Develop In Order to Confirm the Quality of Your Code.

Need a simple rental property syndication form that is similar to vflyer.com. This is just to add functionality to current RoR development. Just looking for a cleanly built four step process where a user inputs various rental form criteria, selects theme, previous flyer and then publishes it to different sites and has the generated html code for CLs postings.

This should take about one/two days to build.

Paying $80 for the project. Must be done by Tuesday night (September 8).

Need a ruby on rails developer to build a getting things done website. The site will allow for people to manage their tasks and will be based off an excel template (attached).

Someone strong in JavaScript and Ruby is necessary.

Other than that, this is a fairly straightforward design and build.
