December 22nd, 2009 Comments off

Description
I’m willing to pay $130-250 for this work. I must be done in 8-9 days.

Note: some of this may have been done.

I’m looking for a Radiant / Ruby on Rails developer who will help finalize a CMS migration project for the website. We have some custom Radiant CMS requirements to support a multi-language website.

What I already have:
We already have Radiant installed and running our new multi-language website, however there are still some final touches and minor development changes required to support our needs. Some examples of such changes are:

1) Formatting issues in Navigation and Footer
2) GeoIP redirection to the appropriate website based on country location
3) Zendesk integration on feedback pages using their Rest API
4) Javascript Clean up
5) Some minor PHP work
6) Minor changes to HTML
7) Install WYSIWYG within Radiant CMS

Here’s what needs to be fixed in more detail

- german and french special letters are broken because of cufon

- customize news ticker to work with the new cms

- Remove the signup now links in the footer of the webpage.

- implement automatic language selector

- Translate the site into German & French

- Migrate current news script for About Us -> News page to RadiantCMS

- Install our rotation flash piece in CMS

- images need to be translated or BETTER be replaced by text

- clean up css / javascript

- Seconday Nav hovers are not fitted

- Add subscribers to our email list from website and product

- Top navigation links break

- install the Zendesk suppor collection page on our contact us page

- Link Signup pages to software

Ruby Radiant Cms Work

September 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Www.bookoftodays.com requires the following updates to be made.

1) Add a feed for twitter and other social networks
i want to have a mailing list there so each day when I update my positive affirmation ( as seen in the colour photo) it automatically goes to the people on the mailing list.
2) Add a three new pages
a) Have you found The Book Of Todays?
b) Comments Please
d) recommended sites

I need a small set of tabs to open up the different pages

I need two new sections a) and b) to run down the right hand side of the page, a above b,
but these are just windows of the the actual page, jst a sneak look at the latest

When somebody wishes to make a comment an e-mail needs to be sent to me first for approval of the comment, once approved, then the info can go up in date order

The general text in the brown section (headed Why did you write this book) will need to be moved to the left to make space for the new “comments boxes a & b”

these boxes need to be a summary of other pages, so if somebody wants to read more they can open up the page a or b.

the third new page is a place where I can put links to recommended sites with text about the site. eg

I really like the teachings of john smith who talks about love light and peace, find him on wwww.johnsmith.com

the fourth new page is the contact page with all the ways to contact me

I need SEO work to include meta tags of spiritual teaching, self development, mission, religion, positive press,

I will also need to change the photo as well

I would like the existing theme to remain eg the new pages should look similar to the front page and have the heading and colour photo with todays saying still the same.

I am open to suggestions as to how to complete all these tasks and present them clearly and concisely. I want to remain using RADIANT CMS, please do not respond if you wish to use an alternative. I am happy with Ruby open to suggestions within this boundary

Thanks
Anton

Thats about it
