I need a senior programmer with gaming experience and outstanding design effort. I need a bid for a website that will do the following:

1. membership based
2. give users a choice of several courses or locations to choose for a virtual competition.
3. these courses or locations will be displayed and show the progress of the user from the starting point to the finish.
4. the course would be like a virtual marathon or race, where the user would pass along the path of the course with data that the user enters into their profile either via PC interface and/or smart phone app.
5. the script will need to have a formula for converting their actual activity, for example, running, walking, weight lifting, playing basketball, gardening, etc…taking a group fitness (aerobics) class, and plot their progress along the course or race path. This would be done for the reason that a user should not run 2 miles at the gym or outside and count as 2 miles in the race…it could possibly be much less, for example 2 miles running might be 1/4 mile on the virtual race and weight lifting for 30 minutes might be another 1/4 mile in the race.
6. along the path, I want to have areas for advertisement, just like in a real race or on the street, you have businesses with signs…we would need to seek out sponsors…I would want this to be in the cms portion to allow me to control the frequency, size and number of advertisers…if possible, with ajax to allow me to drag and drop would be nice.
7. as the users reaches their goal, they would be awarded with a virtual trophy of some sort…
8. the user could also collect a prize for reaching their goal from the sponsors…this would also be displayed on their profile.
9. the design would be like a 3D version when viewed on PC, so the user gets the feel of the course.
10. these users should be able to find other users and create teams. These teams would be displayed and viewed by others…the should also be tracked as a team and if competing as a team, they could not progress or win if all of their teammates did not finish…
Note: this creates a sense of accountability with their peers and therefore they must comply or they will have to answer to their teammates.
11. I would like to connect this to social networks, like facebook and share progress by selecting share in the profile and where they add this data.

I need a Zen Cart programmer to create a one page sign up sheet for a running race. A layout example is attached. The user will select either Individual or Family and fill in required information. The user cannot select both Family and Individual. A validation check will be required for the form: first family member, primary contact information (except email) and initials checkbox. The total at the bottom is the sum of registration and raffle. Clicking Proceed to Payment sends the items and price to Paypal. All Family, Individual and Primary Contact registration information is sent to the Zen Cart data base. Successful Paypal registration payment sends the user back to the main page. All modified Zen Cart files should be in override folders.

A column will display the variable data of each item collected on the form in the order collected from left to right.

We are currently looking for a ReadyMade 3D/2D developer to sell us an isometric race cargame engine to be played on the web app we are building.

Here is what we’re needing. We have already built out the web app for this game (shopping cart, user console, admin console, etc). We just need you to build the game and assist us in integrating the game engine into the online web app if its already done ?

Data needs to pass back and forth between game and our database, we will need you to assist us and enable the game to communicate with the web app. We need to define what is being passed back and forth and when. For instance,…race results…times…is that passed at the end of race…and where is it passed to……points generated off of rankings of cars etc.

I need someone to finish a flash website project that was started. I have all the PSD’s and all relevant information to complete this.

Basically this will load the Launch.png first , after the animation is complete it will then go itno the “template” , which will be completed animated.

As far as what will need to be done first, we will start with the “launch.png” Here is what we need done.

1) Lets ditch the Logo on the wheel until we can make it flow.

2) The hands need to be a bit larger they don’t match the size of the wheel, lets do this in small adjustments.

3) The hands need to be cropped so they have the appearance of grip[ping the wheel.

4) Remember the hands will need to move with the wheel if the car is going to follow the track. This really needs to look realistic.

5) We need to replace that background image of the track, we would be much better off with a drag strip

6) maybe this should be animated totally? Could the view outside the car be live video jetting down a drag strip from inside the car? If so could we find such video?

7) Ditch the barn on rt.replace with electronic billboard that has Lucas Oil Shield….make the view out of the car more round a bit more tunnel vision.

I currently store the past performances of greyhounds in an excel spreadsheet, or number of sheets.
I collect a number of pieces of data about each dog in each race. This data is then processed via firmulas in the spreadsheet to deliver a “performance rating”. Factors taken into account include the track, distance, starting boxes, class of race, sectional times, winning time, margins from winner, interference, track condition, etc.

These performance ratings are then used as the base for calculating “predictive ratings”for greyhounds in up-coming races, using formulas I have developed in Excel.

I want a database that automates the process, so that results can be pasted into a table, and these would then be processed into records of each dog, and performance ratings calculated. Then, by inserting a list of the runners in an upcoming race, after taking into account factors such as class of race, starting box, track, distance, track condition, expected sectional times, etc.

This would be fairly similar to methods used in horse racing, but with factors particular to greyhound racing and also particular to my methods abd formulas developed over many years

I need an online stock car racing simulation website made. It will be a text based racing game. Something along the same genre as vivi.com. There will be weekly races (you will not need to create these races, I will have those taken care of by someone else unless you could convince me otherwise) which will be created based on each driver’s stats, car setup and other things.

The players will not race, themselves. They will train their driver. They can have their driver practice at the race track, and edit the setup of the car. Many details about the practice will be recorded and used to figure out how the driver will race. On race day, each of these profiles will be entered in and the race will be played out from that.

You will not need to create the race or the practice. I just need the surrounding website. The profiles and network.

Players will create a profile for a racing team and employ a driver to race in one or more of the racing series. Certain details about the team will be logged, as well as car setups and speeds from practice laps.

The user can choose through different tabs to navigate around the site;
garage (to view details about their cars and setups)
practice (to run practice laps on different tracks, preparing for the next race)
teams (to view other teams profile pages, rankings, leaderboards)
news (to view current events pertaining to the events)
research and development (to improve your stats or buy new equipment)
bank (how much money the team has)
etc…

Viewing other teams’ profiles, you can see their stats; wins, top 5′s, top 10′s. You can send messages and also interact with that team, some what. You can either ‘bump’ someone or ‘draft’ them. Each positive or negative interaction you have with a team, adds a ally/rival point to your log file for that driver. During a race, ally/rival points affect how each driver drives when around each car.

I don’t need anything too fancy or impressive. Simple can be enough. One special feature that I would like to add is a split frame built into the site, that can cycle through advertisements. The user will be able to turn it on or off. The reason they would turn it on would be because they earn more money in the game for every ad that cycles through.

I can give a much more detailed description. If you have the skills I need to finish this job, try. I might be interested in you. I would like someone who has actually read over my project as opposed to the people who will give me the same cookie cutter response that they give to every other job on here.

I need a couple of JavaScript applets made for an on line racing simulator. You will not need to design these applets, nearly all of the pseudo code will be given to you. I have worked out most of the details, I just need someone to build it for me. It will not be graphical. Everything it displays will be the text representation of what happens.

The first applet will simulate laps around a race track. It will take information from the user( tire pressure, gear ratios, etc) and static variables about each track (length, turn difficulty, angle of the turn, etc). All these variables will be run through a formula and it will return an estimated lap time. This lap time will be saved in a database. The time will also be compared to the fastest recorded time and displayed to the user.

The next program may or may not need to be JavaScript, but will use the same functions as the first program. It will take each user’s car setup and simulate a race; lap by lap, pass by pass. There will be possibilities for wrecks if certain events occur (cars getting too close to each other, etc), blown engines (if parts fail), and other random occurrences that could happen in a race. This “race” will be recorded in a text format and sent to be displayed on an applet leader board. This leader board will be updated as the race is “run”.

Notice the format is given like that. I would just like to extract this single data for each race. I know its really tiring to do manual data entry work for this, and i believe it can be done by some simple software should be easy for some of your programmers here.

And I need my info to be stored in an Excel file.

So as shown in the format i have earlier told, I need additonal info to be added which is Date, Track, Time on top of the winners info in my database.

This Sporinglife site reports the up to date SP from each track. I need to grab the official SP from the track from the course as soon as the race starts.

The information I require is the first four horses and their SP just as the race has started.

The information I need will pass to either;
a) an excel spreadsheet where I run a macro to determine if there is a valid bet or

b) the information is passed to a subroutine within the code for manipulation.
If this option is chosen I will complete this part of the code when the project if finished

If the outcome is a bet, as reported by either the excel macro or subroutine, I would require a bet to be placed on the favourite horse using Betfair. The bet could be a lay bet or a back bet, in most instances this will be a lay bet.

The complete action would need to take place within a few seconds of the race starting.

Once the race is complete I would need to determine if the bet was successful, this would determine the bet stake for the next race.

On an average day I would expect 3 bets.

I require the application to be written in Visual Basic .Net.
I require a full & complete explanation of the code. I am currently learning VB.net & would require full understanding of the code so I can manipulate or change details later if required.

I would require a test version to run without placing bets to ensure the bot can achieve the outcome I have specified

I need a custom horse racing software created that is web based via a username password controlled area with a shopping cart. There will need to be a section for free picks that I can assign a random track each day and will automatically post picks to that section from the software for the chosen track

The program will need to use a monte carlo system algorytham to run simulations of horse races 50k times. There will need to be an area where horses can be “Scratched” from being included in the simulations when a horse has been removed from the race. The software will need to run the entire card at one time for each track so that it can calculate the best exotic wagers ie. picks for pick 6 pick 3 etc that various tracks offer. User will need to be able to enter in their budget for each wager.

Software will use the TSN Past Performance Data Files from Tsnhorse.com it is a coma deliniated file. Software will need to go in and download the files each night and run the races for the next days races.

After running software results will need to be published to site as follows by each track (self creating pages) and prvious days picks archived for users to look at in the future

Horse name Jockey name Morning line odds Actual odds(from software calculations) number of races won (based on simulation of 50k races)

These results will need to be from best horse to worst horse

then in a seperate area the odds of exacta trifecta and superfecta probabilities of each race

Advertising banners will need to be shown as well for extra revenue

The last feature it needs is to download results files from Brisnet.comm called “Comprehensive Charts Files” and match race results for each track with the software picks and spit out results or each track and keep a running total in a database for the duration of the meet and as well as an overall lifetime results for each track

The project is for handicapping race horses.

1)Ability to manually enter race variants for multiple race tracks into the program.

2)Will need to have racetrack base numbers(what is considered 100 based on a specific time)for each distance. This is how variant is derived. This will need to be done for each track though many tracks use the same base figures.

3)Will need to download comma,delimited files (Equibase), This is the racing form information with all applicable horse data.

4)Once files are downloaded program must calculate the speed figures for each horse based on the variants that were input for that particular racetrack.

5) Program will also calculate the pace figures for the race. The pace figures include Race Pace, Average Pace and Horse Fractional Pace. this will be done for each horse in the race. Program will also use average pace figure along with speed figure to give a race rating for each horse. This is simply adding the two figures together.

6) Internal fractions or times of each horse must be calculated. This is based off of a horses beaten lengths at each call and taken from the race times.

7)Format of the figures should have the calculated Pace numbers as well as The speed figure just below the race running lines (See past performances of Equibase or the Daily Racing Form for example). Also would like the ability to have a printout of just the figures for each horse or all the horses of a particular race.

8)Would like the ability to access the data of race classes to see average winning times and Pace and Speed figures based on class (Ex: 10K claimers, 50k claimers, Allowance horses etc.) This could be optional.

9)Ability to upgrade the program in the future, with the possibility of going web based for various users. this would include data file transfers.
