I came across the app QuickText and would be happy with similar simple setup. I would prefer to start with an Iphone platform. P.S. I initially wanted the quotes to be accessible via a downloadable keyboard similar to Emoji but don’t think this is possible. I just want a small exe tool created that will modify one or more CSVs in one folder into a single CSV of different formatting in another folder. I have strict requirements for these so please check the attachment to follow my explanation. *Note: if viewing CSVs in Excel do not save as it changes the formatting.

I want the tool to sit outside 2 folders (as attached in zip file)
/01_csv_toedit/ – CSV file(s) to edit go here (varying names)
/02_csv_result/ – CSV result file to go here named ProductSalesList.csv
/exe tool sits here

I have a sample “toedit” file and “result” file in the appropriate folders. I want the “result” file to be EXACTLY as this one.

What the tool should do is take the following information from the “toedit” file(s):
orderId, purchaseDate, sku, qtyOrdered, price

…and create a new file called ProductSalesList.csv. This will need to be edited as following:

-Comma delimited with double quotes for all
1st: orderID
2nd: date stamp reformatted as in the sample result file: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM
3rd: empty but still with quotes
4th: empty but still with quotes
5th: empty but still with quotes
6th: empty but still with quotes
7th: empty but still with quotes
8th: empty but still with quotes
9th: empty but still with quotes
10th: empty but still with quotes
11th: sku

Check the folder structure and sample files for assistance. Also, if more than one file is in the “to edit” folder it’ll handle them all and still create the one result file as explained above.

I have joomla module (1.5) that does not work correctly. It is simple quote of the day module for joomla. There are 4 fields in the admin section where you enter 4 quotes and it should display each quote in front at the time. This module does not displays one quote at the time, it displays all 4 quotes all together. I would like to be able to enter 4 different quotes in admin section and in fronted should display one quote at the time randomly. For example each time visitor comes to the website should see different quote at the time.

You can deliver the quotations and sayings in a comma-separated text file containing as much as possible of the following:
- category name (eg: Famous quotes)
- author (eg: George Washington) [if possible]
- author-info (eg: birth date, date of death) [if possible]
- quotation
- any other relevant info (eg: where the quote came from, name of book, lecture, etc) [if possible]

If you know of somewhere to download a big ready-made database of quotations I can put into a database that would be great.

There are many websites online that have quotations, you can use those but you must include the url where the quotations came from.

This is to make sure that we don’t have duplicate quotations in the system.

With your bid please send me the following info: when you can start, how long it will take, the word ‘understood’ so I know you’re not a bot, how many quotations you plan to provide, any questions you may have.

There is no programming necessary for this project, I just need the info delivered in a plain-text comma-separated file.

Need programmer to add quotations (“To Be or Not to Be”) and business fact (“US GDP fell 2.4% in 2009, the biggest annual drop since 1946″) database to my website.

I need well laid out pages for browsing, viewing, and managing each of these relatively simple databases. I will assist with the debugging (running test cases) and help with tuning the style of the pages to match the website.

The ideal consultant will have experience building such database scripts (I realize these are relatively simple) with a clean UI style for browsing, reporting, and managing database entries/categories. Tricky part will be deciding upon how to implement hierarchical categories and insuring authors are not dublicated with similar spellings (W. Churchill is the sames as Winston Churchill). I also need consultant with sufficient experience to anticipate the DB Admin tools that will be required to maintain in the future.

Person will be responsible for writing well documented scripts/code so the project can be supported. Asking that the person reserve 5 hours of post project delivery support in the event that minor issues pop-up.

I need a simple quotation system created for a small services company – the system needs to be able to create quotes, save, email and print quotes based on user input from a form.

There are 5 different types of basic services offered each with gold, silver and bronze offerings plus a number of addon options which can be included in any quote. The price for each basic service is set at a minimum level and then has the option to increase as there are more objects added onto it.

Admin should simply have to enter the customer personal details into a form, enter information required for the quotation (all of which should drop downs or tick boxes etc based on preset offerings and prices etc) and then at the end they click abutton which will save the quote in the database, email it to the customer email address (with a bcc to the owner) and also print a copy of it. Each quote and customer will be given a reference number based on the current schema used by the company – it is based on the date and the customer name and postcode.

The quotes themselves need to include all the information entered on the form.

A typical requirement would be someone asking for a regular ABC service with two additional objects plus one add on service – the system needs to be able to create quotes like this.

From then on admin should be able to list all quotes and for any given quote delete, edit, print or email the quote – editing a quote should create a new quote reference while leaving the old quote intact.

Please keep budgets realistic – we are looking to move quickly and to spend $xx, no HTML or design work needed, we can do that ourselves.

Introduction

The requirement is for a set of Microsoft Excel Macros to import data from proxy server log files into a Microsoft Excel Workbook and to produce reports and charts based on the imported data.

The Macros may be written in VBA and the result will be a single .XLS workbook containing the macros which would be triggered by either a hot key or a macro button.

I’m trying to start a price comparison website, focused on the Republic of Ireland insurance market. I have a start page set-up, but this will have to be enhanced to catch more required fields from a user. A user then fills in the form, ticks the terms & assumptions check-box and presses the submit button. In the background, the site goes off and queries each site in real-time to retreive an insurance quote. It’s very important to note that this has to be done in REAL-TIME, a batch or data mining program will not suffice. It’s currently using PHP & CURL, but you may call web-services, AJAX, etc. However, java code cannot be executed on my web server.

I want to keep the user input as small as possible, so each site will probabley require a certain amount of data transformation! For example – some sites expect an age, others expect a date of birth. All website quotes will then be provided to the user in a list format with the company name, logo and quote. If an insurance companies site returns more tha one price, all quotes should be displayed (ie. 3rd Party, 3rd Party F&T and Fully Comp.) Total transaction time may take up to 20-30 seconds. Car Types, Locations, etc will have to be developed and displayed at the front end also. I can provide a list or database insert scripts of these.

Similar existing UK based sites are www.confused.com, www.gocompare.com, etc.

If this is successful, they may be a lot of additional development coming on the horizon.

Just to clarify one issue regarding the project. A lot of people are offering to do scans of the websites, and save them to a database via cron. THIS WILL NOT WORK!

As I mentioned, the winning programmer may also be asked to add further sites in later projects, as-well aas develop quote pages for Home, Bike, Health insurance.

Only serious bids will be entertained, which are accompanied by a detailed explanation of how this is going to be implemented.

I want to build a site that offers free auto insurance quotes, health insurance quotes. etc. I have eight different products that I am going to be working with.

I am an affiliate of a company and I have the backend code for this. it is simple cut and paste code and this would have to be done for eight products.

In terms of the specifics of the site:

I want to build an 14-16 page site which offers free insurance and finance quotes. I will give you the dialogue of how I want each page to read.

I will need a logo too.

Here are descriptions of what should be on each page.

page 1 – landing page the landing page will look similar to a leading insurer page, think of the girl with the pink hair or the lizards page just less busy and complicated.

the dedicated zip code page will be dynamic and be able to recognize which product page the person has just came from, so if the person came from health insurance, the drop down on the dedicated zip code page would default to health insurance… etc .. and then the person can enter their zip and the code takes over from that moment once they press the call to action button.

Again, the back end code would have to be fully integrated with these options so that when someone gets a health insurance quote, they are brought to the right page etc.

I need a script that will allow someone to post a random quote from a database to twitter.

The user will enter a twitter username/password and select categories. The script should run on a cron which then sends out that one persons quote once a day. The script should only send out a few to avoid going over the API limits.

The script should allow for multiple users to use it so they will need there own login page for each user where they can then choose categories and add accounts as needed.

The database will be simple of:

This calculator works out a quote based on your input of measurements and image choices.

I need this calculator duplicated on my own website. I need all sections duplicated – the details form, and all calculators – windows, doors, patio doors, french doors, and quote total.

So here’s what I need:

1)I need the data that they fill out on the details form (http://quotes.brackenwood.com) to be sent to my database, and not to the original website’s.

2)I need the calculators that appears after you fill in your details (http://quotes.brackenwood.com/Instructions.php) duplicated.

The new calculators will preferably work independently of the original website, without using dynamic data fetching from the original website.

However, if there is no way to do this, please let me know.

Also…if you need the matrix of figures that the calculator uses to make its calculations, I can provide it. But if you can do the duplication without the matrix, then that is even better.
