November 23rd, 2009 Comments off

I am in need a java program that stores date values and prints out the date in either a pure numeric format or a name and number format.

Prorammer must leave several detailed comments in order to make the program easy to follow.

Instructions are copied below but are much easier to read in the attached word document.

The files must be named as follows: <NameDateDriver.java>.
Example: NameDateDriver.java (driver program)
Date.java (Date class file)
Ensure you include ALL files required to make your program compile and run.
I would like to see your .java files only.

Java Mortgage

July 26th, 2009 Comments off

design separate java code for each of this 4 programs with comments; compiled and run error free; Programs must follow object-oriented programming styles. I need a copy of the java file and also need a simple design flow chart for each.

1) Write the program in Java (with a graphical user interface) and have it calculate and display the mortgage payment amount from user input of the amount of the mortgage, the term of the mortgage, and the interest rate of the mortgage. Allow the user to loop back and enter new data or quit. Please insert comments in the program to document the program. Attach a design flow chart to the source code of the program.
Deliverable – A .java file (Error Free).

2) Write the program in Java (with a graphical user interface) and have it calculate and display the mortgage payment amount from user input of the amount of the mortgage and the user’s selection from a menu of available mortgage loans:

- 7 years at 5.35%
- 15 years at 5.5%
- 30 years at 5.75%

Use an array for the mortgage data for the different loans. Display the mortgage payment amount followed by the loan balance and interest paid for each payment over the term of the loan. Allow the user to loop back and enter a new amount and make a new selection or quit. Please insert comments in the program to document the program.
Deliverable – A .java file (Error Free).

3) Write the program in Java (with a graphical user interface) so that it will allow the user to select which way they want to calculate a mortgage: by input of the amount of the mortgage, the term of the mortgage, and the interest rate of the mortgage payment or by input of the amount of a mortgage and then select from a menu of mortgage loans:

- 7 year at 5.35%
- 15 year at 5.5 %
- 30 year at 5.75%

In either case, display the mortgage payment amount and then, list the loan balance and interest paid for each payment over the term of the loan. Allow the user to loop back and enter a new amount and make a new selection, or quit. Insert comments in the program to document the program.
Deliverable – A .java file (Error Free).

4) Write the program in Java (with a graphical user interface) and have it calculate and display the mortgage payment amount from user input of the amount of the mortgage and the user’s selection from a menu of available mortgage loans:

- 7 years at 5.35%
- 15 years at 5.5%
- 30 years at 5.75%

Use an array for the mortgage data for the different loans. Read the interest rates to fill the array from a sequential file. Display the mortgage payment amount followed by the loan balance and interest paid for each payment over the term of the loan. Add graphics in the form of a chart. Allow the user to loop back and enter a new amount and make a new selection or quit. Please insert comments in the program to document the program.
Deliverable – A .java file (Error Free).

Quit Smoking Calculator

June 15th, 2009 Comments off

The smoking calculator required runs off the same principles as the example below, although the graphical display differs and several options that are mentioned below need to be added.

http://www.cancer.ca/files/cw/calculator/cw_popup.html

- An option for more items, prices, graphics with a selectable drop-down (onfocus) / AJAX show as you type input. Options will be interfaced through MYSQL database calls.

- An ability for a user to add new goals / prices to the list and to be able to change the current prices before submitting the calculator.

- A graphical countdown till goal reached, will be used amount saved already.. amount left be saved…

Both Flash / HTML versions are required. Knowledge of Facebook apps is a plus as we will require a converted copy of this in the future (seperate project)

I Need 20 Articles On Smoking.

April 13th, 2009 Comments off

I need 20 articles based on smoking, quitting smoking, some statistics on smokers, cancer, countries that are fighting the smoking problem, the scams people are running to “help” people quit smoking etc. You can include images (Renamed) or stat charts to support the articles. they don’t have to be long article, about 150 to 200 words. they MUST be originals or rewritten in your own words and must be given ownership to original authors on any quotes, citations or portions of the article.

I prefer someone who has first hand experience on this subject; either you are still a smoker, or someone who has smoked and quit but feel strongly about the topic.

You must send me a sample writing. lastly, you must have good research skills so send me a sample of that by finding me the source of this article and send it to me along with your bid: “87% of smokers attempt to quit smoking, 95% fail.” Or “almost 9 out of 10 smokers try to quit, 95% of them failed.”

It took me about 10 minutes to find it.

I will need these terms in each article:
1. so many people trying to quit smoking fail
2. hard to quit smoking
3. nicotine therapy doesn’t work well
4. health related issue to quitting smoking
5. another citation or quote from a professional or statistic based on smoking, quitting smoking etc.

Good luck.
