Finally, in the question answers page, i want a link next to the existing links called flag / answer / comment which is called ‘Go to URL’ which takes the user to the URL that was entered against the question.

We have a script at www.maths.ac that creates maths questions of the form $a+$b. A user can select different questions to make up an assessment and then create a pdf.

I’d like it so that the user has a choice to create a pdf with exactly the questions they chose (ie the very same numbers) or a random version of the pdf. Right now the script delivers a random version of the pdf each time so need the exact version adding.

For example, the preview may show ‘what is the square root of 9′ The user should now be able to regenerate if they don’t like the number and the new question may be ‘what is root 25′. If the user adds this question then they should have the option of creating the pdf with this very same question.

I have a detailed listing of personality test questionnaires, which depending on the answer that user has chosen, he will skip adhoc to a distant question far behind in the questionnaire. All in all, he will answer only 24 questions out of 900, which means programmer needs to enable him to skip to the right question depending on the answer he has picked. This is a system of 5 Multiple-Choice answers to each question, for him to choose.

Note, however, after answering 4 questions each time, he will be assigned 2 letters of the alphabet, and you are to store this in one row in the database according to the user’s id.

So, 6 sets of 4 questions (since 6*4=24 questions), and he will be assigned 2 letters of the alphabet 6 times. Store these 6 pairs of alphabetical letters in one row in the database. The next user id will have corresponding next row of 6 pairs of alphabetical letters, corresponding to each set.

Also, I want the user’s answers picked and the question number that he was directed to answer (out of this list of 900 questions) stored in a separate table or database. The best is 1 row of 24 columns indicating values for the question number in one table, and 1 row of 24 columns indicating values for the MCQ answer he has chosen.

Then only the next member id will be the next row on each table.

So, got it? So, this will be a members’ site, for many members to attempt 24 questions, and have their answers and question number stored , as well as the 6 pairs of alphabetical letters.

So, all in all, 3 tables only required. But different rows or observations will corresponding with the next member and so on, as this is a multi-member site.

Expect no mistakes, as I am a busy person and am hardpressed for time to pinpoint errors to programmer. Programmer expected to be independent, highly accurate in your coding, as I am very busy.

1) Right now there is a function for users to duplicate quizzes, which duplicates questions, etc. However, there is a bug such that when the user has a n apostrophe in his question, it doesn’t duplicate. I believe this is an easy programming error where apostrophes are interefere with some code and stuff.

2) Users can edit questions, which displays a pop up for them to retype the question. I require it such that when the popup appears, the original question is already shown in the popup box such that it is easier for the user to edit the question rather than retype the entire question.

3) The 3rd issue is tougher. Right now the app allow users to embed quizzes via javascript, which loads an iframe. I require the iframe’s height to be able to be set or readjusted to the content (which is hosted within same domain only), either via some form of javascript or jquery OR via loading from a php smarty variable (preferred) but not very sure how to do that.

4) 4th thing is an update. Basically the app has an export feature where it pulls quiz data from the database and loads it into an excel sheet to be downloaded. We require more info to be pulled and displayed in the excel sheet (statistics) which shouldn’t be that hard, as there is already existing code for hte previous ones that you can easily refer to.

We are creating a new type of Question/Answer article for our website called “Ask A Stylist”. When a user clicks the “Ask A Stylist” link in the top navigation (see top nav in comp), the most recent ask a stylist article will appear. It includes a question and answer as well as an thumbnail image slider bar and a place for people to submit new questions to the article author. There is also a slider bar to display previous articles. The thumbnail image slider bar code has already been developed and is in use on the existing articles. The thumbnail image slider bar can be adapted to work with this new article format. The current author changes after a few articles, so when the last article by an author appears, the new questions posted by users must be labeled as going to the new “Ask A Stylist” author because the old author has finished their last artcle.

- Must use clean, concise, tableless XHTML/CSS code that is cross-browser compatible (FF, Safari, IE and chrome)
- Needs to be able to run in a multi server environment so use relative URLs or detect host for all paths
- Development environment is on a test server that is not connected to production environment
- Develop code for multi-webserver environment (use relative links or detect the server if server name is needed which will be either test.domain.com server or www.domain.com)
- Provide full list of changes to code and database (preferably sql scripts) with instructions for migration to production.
- All php/mysql code needs to be clean, concise efficient code that uses best practices
- Create separate CSS files and functions to avoid overwriting any other ongoing development (OK to use existing css, database, header and footer includes in your code, but any new code related to your project add to a separate file)

I want a developer to create a colorbox(i think that is what its called) exactly like on website called ask . fm …. If you go to that site and click on ask friends a question link a new small window opens up which has list of friends which you can select to ask question too…

My website has all the functionality… All i need is that box to display it and on select send the questions to displayed members….

I am interested in getting a mobile App for candidates who want to prepare for a professional exam. This is what I want:

1) It must work on all phones with GPRS. Not necessarily smartphones.
2) It must have the following menu:
- Exam (I will supply the name). This should have several submenus corresponding to the exam type, exam year, exam style, etc. I will decide on what will eventually be there.
- Saved Tests (a candidate’s previously taken test which they have saved)
- My Score (a candidate’s previous scores)
- Help (where the user will be able to access help on how to use the application).

The questions must be in an enclosed box to demarcate it from the options. The answer options must be in the form of a radio button style option selection mode.

A user must be able to skip a question, go to a particular question (if not ready to answer the displayed one, go to a previous question, or view each option properly.

The answers must fit into the screen. We do not want text “falling out” of the screen as it were.

There must be a menu that can provide an option for the user to (a) Go back (b) Exit the application (c) Select a test

The application must have an intro corresponding to our trade-marked product.

Pricing?

I am not looking to pay more than $200 for this application. I may stretch it to $300 if more work needs to be done but that is it.

I have several mobile app projects, some which will pay significantly more money in future. I need someone who already has something like this, which will require modifications, rather than someone who has to build from the scratch.
