I hoping one of you will be able to help me, I’m a bit out of my depth when it comes to javascript and API’s so I need some assistance.
I would like to query google shopping API, producing a webpage containing the result in a table format (say the first 1000 on screen). This webpage needs to offer both:-
1) an option to download ALL results into csv file.
2) sort the results via any of the attributes.
3) search with in the results
I’ll also need any javascript files etc. that are required for it to all work.

Some of the querys I wish to run produce 150,000+ results, hence the need to be able to download all the results to a single csv file.

I already know that if i query google shopping API it limits my results to 1000, so you’ll need to possibly run the query x number of times until you have all the info required. I am aware this may take a while to download, thats OK.

PS I have omitted my specific key to the sample query in the text field

I need the following script/program coded. Needs to run from a desktop (windows).

Works like this:
A) Text box where search terms are entered or text file from which search terms are pulled.
B) Runs a query on google.nl for search term 1
http://www.google.nl/#q=search+string

C) Pulls the urls (display main domain) from the adwords advertisers on page 1
D) Checks if these domains are listed in the top 20 organic results for that search query on google.nl
E) Runs a query for search term 2 etc
F) Outputs data in a CSV like:

search string|adwords domain|adwords position|organic position

If there are 7 advertisers and 4 keywords used the csv file will contain 28 records.

Option to use proxies would most likely be needed due to the many queries.

Please only bid if you understand the project and have developed similar scraping scripts.

I am using the open source script Phplist. I need a small query script (called qscript from now on) to identify email addresses that meet my criteria, within a database used by my installation of phpscript.

The qscript must be written in php and will be hosted on the same server where my PHPLIST is installed. When launched, qscript will

1) ask for my db details (user, password and database name)
2) ask for a starting and ending date
3) ask for a maximum number of mailing lists

The script will then go through the database and extract all the email addresses that were entered between the starting and ending date and that are subscribed to more than the maximum number of mailing lists.

The resulting email addresses will be presented in a download link to a csv file containing all the email addresses that were extracted.

If you are familiar with PHPscript, this should be very easy.

Hi, I have a 3 yr old, extremely well custom coded Q&A site and I need help with a new feature. Very basic stuff for a decent programmer.

1) We need to record visitor clicks on our Sponsored Question links and logo/image. This is already working for $loggedin members, so maybe we just need to add an ELSE statement and then record them in a new field in the ‘posts’ table (which is where all the Questions are stored)

2) Need to enable a Date dropdown that filters the page/query for Today, Yesterday or a specified Date range – probably just adding a WHERE statement to the existing Query.

3) Need to join the ‘sponsors’ table to be able to display the image/logo and url with the existing info on the Dashboard

4) Need to store the beginning Points/Credits balance. It currently is stored, but then it’s updated by a query until it is all depleted – I can probably do this one myself…but it’s an example of how simple the things are that I need.

5) Need to add some sort of tracking to Member URLs that allows them to send new people to our Paypal Buy Now form and upon payment, stores them as a “Referrer” (after purchase) so we know to give them credit for sending us a client/customer. We have a built in feature in another area of the site that does this, so maybe we can steal it and copy it into the Paypal buy now button.

6) Need to install Paypal IPN into a thank you page so when people make a successful purchase, we can put conversion pixels on this page…but I might try to just buy a script or cart that has all this built in to make it easier.

7) I need some code that will help me make things smoother – for instance I want to store 2 variables that allow me to multiply points and values by different amounts. Currently I just go into the php file and manually type in the number I want (ie. {$points/5} to multiply/divide the saved variables by…and it outputs the desired result. I could probably just save two fields somewhere in a table and then call them into the php file and just make them updateable from the front end.

Stuff like this. The site is very big, but very organized…so as long as you do this while I’m online assisting you, it would be quick and easy money (a coder last night just did 3 huge changes for me in 5 minutes…it took him 55 minutes though to just listen to my original instructions because he just assumed it wasn’t that easy, so he kept going into files that didn’t matter). I’m an advanced level VB coder, so I know the OOP logic – I’m just not good at PHP. I have simple GChat or Yahoo IM.

If you do this project well, I have a HUGE one immediately following.

We need to make a website that does the following:

1. On the home page, you make a query, it searches a database
2. Finds all the results matching that ID/query

I currently download share price data/information into my spreadsheet via the standard query “MSN Moneycentral stock quotes”.

However there have been problems with the quality of the data recently.

I would like a query that pulls stock data off Yahoo Finance (my preference) or Google Finance. I need data only for the US & Canada.

A simple code is already written, but I have no idea how to add a form to actually capture the input. I need someone who can tweak this sample code and add the php elements needed for the search to be functional.

Due to Google’s recent changes in their Products Feed Specifications, I need to have the QB Query code language I currently use in Volusion’s Import/Export section revised so that it will generate and export a datafeed that meets Google Products new specifications.

Google Products now requires additional categories: size and color variants, gender, age group, availability

My current export is currently NOT generating any of these categories.

Lab 5 of 7: Retreiving data from Multiple Tables

Scenario/Summary

Lab 5 deals with writing queries using multiple tables as covered in the reading and lecture material this week. In some cases, you will be given the option to write a query using either the TRADITIONAL method of joining tables or using the JOIN key word. In some cases, you will be asked to use a specific approach. Using the incorrect process when the process is specified will result in points being taken off for that problem.

The SELECT statement is the primary means of extracting data from database tables, and allows you to determine exactly which data you want to extract by means of different comparison operators used in the WHERE clause. This includes the use of specific “wild card” characters which allow you to search for character or number patterns within the data. You can also perform mathematical expressions within the SELECT statement to create derived output. The ORDER BY clause allows you to sort the output data in either ascending (the default) or descending order. Lab #5 will explore all of these applications of the SELECT statement.

General Lab Information and Considerations

This lab will utilize a set of tables found in the script file (LeeBooks.sql) found in the Doc Sharing area of the website. If you have not yet downloaded this file from Doc Sharing then do so now. Once you have downloaded the script file, import and run the script in SQL*Plus.

Each query in the script file you will create must be numbered (use –1 comments for numbering) and in order. The SQL for the following exercises should be written using notepad and run in SQL*Plus.

A Clean Script File:

A script file is meant to be like a program. The file can be run every time the code needs to be executed without having to retype the code again each time. For this reason, it is important that there are no errors in the code inside the file. You can go back and forth between Notepad and Oracle when creating your script file to check your queries and verify if they work or not, but you do not want to create your final output file until after you have verified that everything in your script is correct by running it, in its entirety at least once and viewing the output. Once this has been done, you can create your final output file, with echo on to create the document you can turn in with your lab. If using a Spool Session, be sure to type “SPOOL OFF” AT THE SQL> after your Script Stops Spooling!

Lab Do’s and Don’t's

Do Not include the LEEBOOKS.SQL as part of your lab script.
Do use Notepad to write your query script file.
Do Not write your queries in Word.
Do test each query before moving on to the next.
Do Not include extra queries for a problem unless the problem explicitly asks for more than one query.
Do test your queries before creating your final output file.
Do Not turn in a script file that has queries with errors.
Do number each query using –1 comment notation.
Do Not start your query on the same line as the comment.
Do remember to check your final output and script file for accuracy.
Do Not turn in your lab without first checking your output file to verify that it is correct.
Things to keep in mind:

If you are not sure of the table names in your user schema, you can use the following select statement to list them.

SELECT * FROM TAB;

If you want to know the name of the columns in a particular table, you can use the following command to list them.

DESC

Making a script file containing a series of describe statements for each table and then spooling the output will give you a listing of all the tables with column names.

Be sure to review and verify your final output when you are finished. Do Not assume anything.

Write queries for each of the stated problems in the steps below that will return a result set of data to satisfy the requirements. When finished, your script file should have a total of 13 queries and your resulting output file should show both the query and result set for each.

Your script file with the 13 queries in it. Be sure your name, course number, and lab number are in a comment area at the top of your file. Submitting ONLY your spooled output will result in a 10-point deduction.

I have a membership (mysql) db on a Linux server with cpanel and whm access. It is a dedicated server that I lease. I need 2 separate things done.
1.)I need someone to query the db and find all “active” members who “confirmed” emails since January of 2010, and also any and all active members who joined since Jan 2011. Then I want my db modified to where it is ONLY “sending” emails to ONLY those members in the above 2 queries. All of the other members will be deactivated and will not receive emails. They will not be deleted. They will only be set to inactive.
2.) There is a “sendall” email function in that db. It is an admin function where I send emails to all active members. It is not functioning properly. It is sending emails to ALL members – including inactive members. I need that modified to ONLY send “sendall” emails to ACTIVE members.
Please be experienced as you will be working with a mysql database in a Linux and WHM setting. I have everything including root/ssh access.

A PHP Script should endless loop this MySQL table and check the STATUS row for each item. When an item got STATUS=FALSE, the PHP endless loop is querieng from this point (ordered by datetime) and ignoring the rest which is older (datetime). EXAMPLE:

I have a MS Access database with about 150,000 names, addresses and emails. These are for Australian businesses.

I want to sort them according to State (there are 6 states in Australia) so I want to sort the database into 6 smaller databases – one for each state.

It is probably easy if you now how to use Access but I don’t have time to learn it.

Delete query is taking endless time for products in prestashop. Can any body solve it?
