Need a small applet which basically runs as a dialogue box, which contains client logo, and copies a folder of various files from a CD to a user-chosen location on the User’s HDD.

It needs to be cross platform to work on Mac and PC, so perhaps Java is best?

The PC exe file will autorun off a CD – but I can sort that.

I have a windows server with 10 IPS bound to the NIC, They all respond to ping and i can connect to each one..

The only way i can now change the external IP is to run a proxy app that binds incoming ip to outgoing ip, then connect to the proxy via my internet explorer..

so i need someone who can make me a tool that will switch external Ip on the fly automatically.. basically i will load a list of the external ips, and set intervals in seconds, and it will switch it.. (without deleting it from the NIC card)

I am looking for a programmer who can make a simple tool that extracts links from webpages or files that contain the filter specified. Basically the tool should do the following:

The tool will basically have 3 controls:
- A textarea where you can enter an url (or multiple urls) OR you can browse a file (or multiple files) on the harddisk (or do both)
- An input field where you can enter a filter
- A button that says “Extract”

For example lets say we enter the url http://www.google.com and the filter *mail.*.com* and click on the “Extract” button, the tool will search the url http://www.google.com for links which contains the filter and shows a list of the links it has found. For this case it would show http://mail.google.com (and probably more)

The option to save the links it extracted IS NOT needed and optional, i only want the tool to show the files in a window where i can copy and paste them.

PLEASE NOTE:

- It should not only search the html code for <a href> but it should extract anything that starts with http:// also for example if there is a <img src=http://>
- I am NOT looking for a php (curl) script or ASP script, it has to be an executable file i can run on my own pc.

Synopsis
This project is for the preparation of photos for uploading. It deals with photo rename, resizing and copying on a windows xp/vista environment.

1st Script
The photos that are going to be processed have the following folder structure

/Location
/Studio
/Houses
/Church
/Reception
/Party

Script Functions:
1. The script should start very easily and fast with no or few parameters
2. Rename all images of each folder: All images under /[name] will be named like a001.jpg , a002.jpg etc. So
a. /Location = a###.jpg
b. /Studio = b###.jpg
c. /Houses = c###.jpg
d. /Church = d###.jpg
e. /Reception = e###.jpg
f. /Party = f###.jpg
3. After the renaming is done the script should create a folder called /images. It should copy all images inside this folder and delete the empty folders that are left over when is done.
4. Script should start resizing &amp; replacing the images. The biggest side of an image should be 600 pixels ( I would like this dimension to be editable somewhere) . The other side off course should be auto calculated to keep correct aspect ratio. The quality should be reduced to something like 70% of the original (good web quality).
5. After is done it should create a folder called /thumbs. It should copy (duplicated not move) all the resized from /images photos in there.
6. When the copying is completed the scripts resizes the images to thumbs. The biggest side of the thumb should be 75 pixels ( I would like this to be editable somewhere). The other side is auto calculated.

2nd Script
The photos that are going to be processed are going to be in a random name folder structure up to 1 level for example:

/random_foldername_xysoks
/pskspdoksd

Script Functions:
1. The script should start very easily and fast with no or few parameters
2. The script should traverse in the random name folders. the photos are in there i.e. /random_foldername_xysoks/photo1.jpg
3. Resize all photos (as 1st script) under /random_foldername_xysoks/ and create a folder /random_foldername_xysoks/images and copy them in there.
4. Create a folder /random_foldername_xysoks/thumbs and copy the photos in there
5. Generate the thumbs, replacing the existing photos.
6. The /random_foldername_xysoks/ folder should contain now only the 2 folders /images &amp; /thumbs
7. Repeat for all folders the script will find

Ok I have a windows box with 2 NICs

1 NIC is bound to one IP(I use this to remote connect)

The second NIC has a range of 40 possible IPS.

I want someone to code a little windows software that will rotate the IP on the 2nd NIC.

I want to put a list of all the possible IPS assigned, then put rotation duration(every 1minute, 2minutes,etc), and the program will rotate it.. RIght now i have to go into network properties and change the IP manually, I want to be able to do it automatically.

Our organization currently runs multiple web searches on a daily basis. We would like to automate this process.

The keywords which need to be searched for will be available in a spreadsheet/document. Each keyword needs to searched using popular web search engines (would prefer google and/or bing, yahoo). Any API provided by the search engine could be used.

For example, below keywords will be available in a spreadsheet

The search results for each keyword should be gathered and a final report needs to be generated with top 10 results(info/links) for each search. We are flexible with the format of the report.

I need a program that will automatically do keystrokes and write a given sentence, for example “Hello, how are you”, then 5 seconds after “I live in America” after another 5 seconds, it will say something else and so on.
I should be able to customize what it says every 5 seconds, or how many seconds it waits before typing the next sentence.
When all the sentences have been said, it would just go back to the beginning.
When opening the program, I could perhaps press F1 to start it, and F2 to make it stop.
The program shouldn’t have to find the Text area, the text area is automatically available, the program would just need to do the automated keyboard actions.

A lot of programmers here probably have the solution for this, and once you have the solution, it should be a rather easy project.

I’m looking to get something coded in a language like Perl/Python/VB/C(++) that can automate the registration of characters on an online game one after another.

The registration uses telnet commands to create characters on their game. The program/script would need to be able to connect to their server via telnet and use pre-defined supplied commands to try and create new character on the game. The names it would try and register would be loaded from a local text file, as would the emails it attempts to register the names to. If registration is successful, it would write the name of the character it successfully register to a different text file; though if not successful, it would simply move on to the next name.

It should know whether not the attempt has been successful or not based on server responses it receives. It should be capable of timeout variables that are able to be set by editing the program/script so that it can cool down once it has registered or attempted to register a certain amount of names.

The program should be created so that each task can be run from clicking a button on a windows form.

The following tasks must be completed and working:

1. Clean temporary files and folders
2. Clean broken shortcuts from desktop/start menu
3. Clean temporary internet files, cookies, cache, etc
4. Clean out the recycle bin
5. Clean/Fix startup errors/problems
6. Clean invalid registry entries

For each entry a calculation needs to be made before it cleans as to how many files and how much space is being cleaned. A progress bar for each task would be great too.
