I have just migrated a wordpress site from a cpanel host to Godaddy.
The front end of the site is working OK but the wp-admin directory is not showing – just gives a white page.

I called Godaddy support and they say it all looks fine at their end, and they can’t explain why the wp-admin directory is invisible.

Please NOTE that the website is operating, so any changes must be very careful

1. Fix an error with IE not making users login to their accounts (most urgent – MUST BE DONE TODAY)

2. Update to the latest PHP-Nuke version that is safe so that we are allowed to continue host the server on the old site

3. Make sure that after the update, all existing modules are working, and all the custom modules are also functioning properly. And that the website is hack-safe (properly secured)

4. Move back the website to it’s original domain. And that the website is hack-safe (properly secured)

Now the countdown timer not running smooth. For example sometime it will countdown from 00:30 to 00:28 and even from 00:30 to 00:27. I want it running smooth and properly.

Now the countdown timer running from “00:03″ to “00:02″ to “Going Once” to “Going Twice” then “Ended”. The problem is when user place bid on “Going Once” and “Going Twice” the countdown timer won’t reset. I want this problem fix.

The objective is to enter the currency codes, names and symbols for as many countries as possible into the attached Word document.

I have entered a the first four rows as examples. I tried doing this as a spreadsheet but I found that Excel 2003 could not save unicode properly, that is why I am doing it as a Word document.

This project is to have the perl scripts functioning properly for 12 functions of the Admin Panel. The perl scripts read text databases, which are all done and chmod properly, and upload files the a specificied folder which also has been chmod properly.

7 of the 12 functions need to have all the perl scripts debugged. All the html templates are done.

For 5 of the 12 functions you will have to clone the perl script which prints identifying variables from a text database, change the respective server paths for the databases and print a table with the identifying variables. In some cases each printed row will contain a “Remove” form button and in some each printed row will contain a “Remove” and “Process” form buttons. The scripts for “Remove” and “Process” will need to be cloned and their respective server paths changed.

I’m well experienced programmer in php/mysql development. I work in a team. We have ran commerce project based on magento. But we have two problems with it:

1) Problem with layer navigation. Does not work filter by manufacturers, price etc. I click on Asus or HP link in the filter list but appears page with empty result, though products with these products are indeed present in list.
2) Problem with sorting. Products does not sort correctly by price and name.

I have copied project to my local machine and there these features works properly! They works properly on 1.3 version and latest one. But project does not work properly on our VPS server. And I haven’t any ideas why. I have ran two projects based on that project, step by step, using the same commands on VPS and local machine but results are different. On VPS mentioned features doesn’t work but on local machine — works.

Why this situation happens? I don’t know. So, I, please, help someone experienced in magento with these two problems. Please, leave you bids and tell me what we can do.

I have an idea of what I want for the layout.

Most arcade sites are very generic looking, which is what I want to avoid.

I want something colorful, and for this, I really like the modern vector retro grunge type of stuff that’s hot right now, as long as it’s bright, and not too “dark” themed. For this, I really like that style mixed with vibrant glow effects.

I want it to be visually appealing, and to look more “exciting” than the other typical arcade sites.

but if you’re right for the job, you should already know that, or have someone on your team that already knows how, and who has experience doing this style of artwork.

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that the artwork looks good. It needs to be intriguing, eye catching, positive, and exciting.

Now, on to the structure of the layout.

The template must feature a navigation bar, just below the header graphic, with links to all 16 game categories (genres).

Most sites that I see with the PHPAS v4 templates, look really cluttered, and that’s bad. I mean the way the game titles and descriptions are displayed, it’s just really inefficient and unattractive, especially in the sections displaying the games of category.

I think it’s actually rather boring and ugly, but please look at it if you’re unfamiliar with the PHPAS v4 script, or arcade sites in general, as knowing the general layout, will help you to picture the layout that I want, from what I am going to describe below.

I want a 3 column layout, with the main game categories in the center. I want 16 categories, which are:

The 12 basic PHPAS v4 categories (Action, Adventure, Board, Casino, Customize, Dress Up, Driving, Fighting, Puzzle, Shooting, Sports) + 4 these categories – “Girly Games”, “Kissing Games”, “Sonic Games”, and “Mario Games”.

I want a background image which fills the background of the entire site, which looks good with a style like I described above for the artwork, as the background should fit in with the artwork and the theme of the site. It’s also necessary that this background image looks good displayed on both standard monitors, and widescreen monitors (meaning that the background fills the entire screen, even for those viewing the site on large widescreen monitors).

It’s important that this image loads in the background as one full image, rather than being sliced, so that if I want to later change the background, and replace it with a different image, I could do so easily.

I’d like each section in the layout, to be in containers, partially transparent, with a black glass frost look, so that the background is partially visible through the containers, like in this picture:

The look of the Containers for the Categories sections for each Game Genre, in addition to the basic transparent black containers, should also have a clear glass trim on the outside edges, possibly with a glow effect, surrounding the container, for each category (by” category” I mean the sections displaying “Adventure Games”, “Action Games”, etc, are all separate “categories”). This really isn’t as complicated as it sounds, for an example of the glass and glow trim, see the this image:

For each game genre category box/section/container I want 2 categories per row, in this center column, and each category should display 2 games at the top, side by side, with a picture displayed for each of these games, and also displaying the title for each, above the corresponding picture. Under each game should be a very short description. (The PHPAS v4 script makes it easy to control how the games are displayed, including specifications for picture, title, description, etc).

Then there should be 5 more games displayed in each category, displayed like a list or table, with 1 game / title per row, and these should be displayed beneath the two games at the top. For these 5 games, only Titles should be displayed, no pictures or descriptions. And then a “view more” button, for the genre, in each category. The games should of course load properly from the appropriate categories in the backend of the PHPAS v4 script.

The Title bar for each genre/category needs to look attractive, and the text/font needs to be legible.

Above The 3 columns in the layout, I want a row, just beneath the navigation bar, that runs a horizontal ad (which will be featuring 100 x 100 pixel game images, with the title displayed below each image) from entraffic.com. I just want to be able to insert the code for the banner/ad generated by entraffic.com in that row.

I also want some kind of “featured” box near the top, and I definitely want it to display an image and at least a “title” for each game, and maybe a description, depending on the style of the featured box, and what you feel is the most appropriate, for the overall look of this section.

I really dislike displays that show only an image, without displaying the game title. The featured box, should display games that I specify from the backend of the PHPAS v4 arcade script.

I want the user registration box, to be at the top of the left column, with a “top players” box under that.

I also want sections for “top rated games”, “most popular games”, and “random games”, each in their own section, in the right column of the site. The games in these sections should of course load properly from the appropriate categories in the backend of the PHPAS v4 script. The categories in the right column should each feature from 10 to 20 games, and only the title should be displayed for each game.

I want space to insert ads, in the side columns, and at least 1 space in each side column, big enough to fit the long vertical Google Adsense ads. It would be cool if I also had a few spots to insert those 100 x 100 pixel ads, that look like game thumbnail preview, for traffic trading.

There should also be a search box, somewhere on the site, that lets the user run a search, for all of the games on in the database on my site (PHPAS v4 makes it easy to do this).

This is a very simple project that requires you to access a single webpage, that has several URLs in a table (about 100). The problem is the URLs have breaklines/carriage returns in the URLs so copying and pasting is an issue.

I have SQL Server 2005 Express with advanced services installed on Windows 2003 server. When I installed the SQL Express I installed all options available. I have forum installed that uses full text search but full text is not functioning. I do not know if something is not enabled properly or if something in SQL Server Express is not configured properly,

The task for this job is to get full text to work on server so the forum works properly will full text.

Convert indented plain text into properly formated HTML

I like to use indented plain text for project planning, as I feel it allows me to easily express hierarchical relationships between different elements without all the troubles associated with other file formats.

In order to be able to later present these documents in the web, I’m looking for somebody with an excellent grasp of regular expression to code for me, in PHP, a conversor from plain text to properly formated HTML.

The conversor has to do the following:

Step 1: Collect information

Ask for a document title
Ask for the plain text that needs to be converted into HTML

Step 2: Transform text into properly formated HTML

2-1) Include the header file (header.html), replacing $$title$$ by the document title specified in the previous step

2-2) Do the following transformations to the plain text

a) Based on the indentations expressed in the source plain text, properly open and close blockquote tags, in order to obtain the appropriate indentation level in the resulting HTML. Also indent blockquotes tags in the HTML file itself, so it is easier to read the resulting HTML.

b) When a doble carriage return is detected in the plain text file (blank line), replace it by opening and closing p tags

c) Surround text starting with * with the h1 tag

d) Surrond text starting with ** with the h2 tag

e) Surround text starting with *** with the h3 tag

2-3) Include the footer file (footer.html)

Step 3: Show the resulting HTML file in a textarea, from which it can easily be copied.

We have a campaign up in Google and it is not tracking conversions properly at all.

We have tried to install paypal and google checkout before and we keep running into issues with getting it all to work properly. After you install these modules it must work properly with our shipping modules. The paypal express and google checkout button must also be installed in the shopping cart. Upon completion our checkout page will use paypal as the credit card processor. Upon completion it will all work with our existing store and all the correct shipping methods will show. We currently have flat rate shipping, international shipping and real time shipping from USPS AND UPS. Paypal, paypal express and google checkout must all work properly with our site and shipping methods.

Need someone to make sure the drop down boxes all work properly, the notes section with character counters work and the questions are spaced out properly and not scrunched up like they are now.

I awarded this bid yesterday to someone, but they couldn’t do the drop down menus on a new Word document. You will probably have to take current content and put on new Word document, so you MUST know how to set up the current drop down menu boxes and character counter thats on current document.

Need done in next few hours.
