I am looking to combine real-time twitter feeds that has a “trends” capability (not unlike – http://twitterfall.com/) with a Flickr feed and a youtube feed as well.
Not sure what platform this should be built on. Could it be done on WordPress? Please give me your recommendation in a PM.

2. Need a php script which when passed the above variables will insert a new row in the mysql table.. Variables can be passed either via GET method or POST method
3. a Html page.. should contain an ajax function. whenever this html page is opened..It does nothing.. but on the hour every hour…It opens an nice looking AJAX popup containing a small popup html form page.. which contains a form for inputting all the above variables ..make username, projectname as pulldown.. make all other TEXT fields or TEXTArea as required with a submit button
4. Once the user enters all data and clicks on submit button the form just blindly inserts a line in the mysql table..
5. As long as the main html page remains open it must constantly produce this popup once every hour on the hour….Suppose a popup is already open and the user has not entered any data and keeping it open for more than 1 hr.. when the time comes to the next hr.. a new pop up form should open…even though the old form is still open

The nice thing is that they have allot of sample code so it’s a matter of somebody taking that sample code and creating forms to utilize the API. They have sample code for Java, HTML, and PHP so it really doesn’t matter to me which one we use. I do, however, want the data to be stored in a Mysql DB so keep that in mind. App will sit on a Linux server running CentOS.

We need to use the APIs of the following services
a. twitter.com
b. digg.com
c. Delicious
We should take a variety of factors, including number of people on a specific URL in a particular time period, freshness of the content, and typical content weighting algorithms. Some people tweet a huge number of URLs, mostly via URL shorteners Twitter search addresses keywords in the tweet, but it doesn’t do anything with the URL’s, especially the shortened ones. So,we should grabs tweets from Twitter’s API that include a URL, tosses the shortened URL into a search corpus (which expands the URL and indexes the full page text), and then references it back to the original tweet. It should also correlates all tweets with the same URL (including re-tweets) across any URL shortened service.
