Its a project to develop a new operative system with all its applications on the web and a basic interface to connect from the computer to the operative system on the web. It will work only when the computer is connected and as i said previously it will have a interface to help you connect to any internet provider.

We are working on a project management / communication tool and need a database solution to back our technical approach. This project is done as a part of a product development project at Helsinki University of Technology (TKK).

We would need to have a database solution to allow the following:
1. Storing and editing general project schedule information
– For automatic schedule generation based on ~8 variables
2. Data entry for existing projects (SMS or handheld targeted website)
– To manage the changes in the schedule
– Should have a verification step before enabling the update
– Update info from handheld/mobile –> database –> notification
to gatekeeper (email) –> accept/decline –> publish updated info
3. Data entry for project related extra information (website)
– To add images and other graphics + text
4. Automatically updating information interface (Graphical, one way)
– Fetches the updated information automatically from the database
– Should be done in Java
– We will provide a template on the look and feel of the UI

The projects concerned are of a specific type and all the data included is thus fairly well standardized.

We are using phidgets to add functionality to our solution, thus any knowledge concerning integrating sensor data to the UI is seen as a major benefit when evaluating the bids.

The project is fairly urgent as the final DL for the complete working and finalized solution is already in four weeks. Haste is thus appreciated also fairly much when evaluating the bids.

I need someone that can design 3D games, basic simple games in JAVA. I need almost like a game where players can walk around on a city map, they can see other players on the map aswell (a bit similiar concept to runescape), nothing complex needed though, basic walking/running, they can gear up, new cloths and etc… Its going to be like a gangster/urban theme.

Let me outline the features:

1. JAVA has to call PHP scripts that i will make each time an action is made. (ex: user moves to an x,y location and JAVA will call a PHP script with the x,y values)

2. User can walk/run around smoothly on a 3D city map.

3. User can rotate camera around.

4. User can hold up to 19 items in inventory

5. User can bank items in a special building that is in the city. (The Bank)

6. User can buy clothing at a special building. (A Clothing Shop), I should be able to edit a list of items easily in he JAVA coding or in any other file.

7. User should be able to buy weapons. (Weapon Shop), I should be able to edit a list of items easily in he JAVA coding or in any other file.

8. User should be able to view a world map, and see all the routes and etc…

9. Users can talk and everyone can see the message the user said within a certain range around the user who said it.

10. Users can talk to another user privatly.

11. Users can add other users as allies and others as enemies.
